I'm from south Carolina, I remember being 11 years old and there was a huge storm. My grand dad (sip) asked if I'd like to hang out on the porch and watch the storm, I said yes. He puts a fan in the window blowing the cool air from inside on to us. The best nap I have ever taken in my life lol thanks for reminding me of a great memory.
What a lovely memory! Similar to mine with my own grandfather. We had one of those green heavy metal window fans...the dangerous, open back ones, lol.. He always warned us to keep our hands away.
Ah yes as the cool mist would spray my face and I'd imagine my parents had money and we lived by the ocean (while mentally drowning out gunshots and sirens)

So, I am now 44 years old and have been going to sleep to the sound of an actual box fan since a newborn. Lately I have not been sleeping well so I decided to search out a fan noise on UA-cam and found this. The combination of rain and the fan is a bingo for me! I've never ever slept so peacefully! I've been listening to this one for years, ever since a traumatic breakup. I don't care about the breakup any more, but it's still all about this box fan.
I listen to this with earbuds to drown out my CPAP. Oh, and for a bonus effect, I actually have a fan blowing on me as well. This is sooooooo relaxing, better than any binaural beat or healing frequencies.
I eas just saying that in a comment above I was saying it reminded me of spending the night at my grandma's house. There was no air conditioning and it was hot as hell so the fans on your sleepy as hell from playing in the pool all day and she let you have some sort of treat her ice cream after dinner and you know Mom would have never given it to you so she tucks you in and as you are falling asleep you look over and see her silly little decorations on the table and just feel so happy and so loved and so lucky as you fall asleep.
I use this to drown out all the other noise at my work and keep my head on straight. It really helps fight off my anxiety and brings a weird calm to me.

If you have a portable speaker or any other sound system with decent BASS you could almost feel the thunder through your ears. This is by far the best and my favorite sleep therapy video. I've used this video every night for over a month at the very least. I use it sometimes on my days off when I take a nap. I believe I would be lost to sleep regularly if this video was no longer available. I don't even need OTC medications to sleep anymore. I could never thank you enough for this video. I stumbled upon this a few days ago. We were on vacation and my daughter was sick and couldn’t sleep. We always run a fan at home. This had us both out in about 10 mins. I’ve used it every night since.
Normally everynight I listen to thunderstorm videos, but when I am traveling or house sitting and can't bring my fan with me....this video is my savior! I love that it has the thunderstorms in the background...and the fan sound is believable. Some of the others sound too fake. Plus the video is long enough to last all night! I wouldn't be able to sleep without it!

Started listening to this in March on vacation. I now use with my fan. I’ve tried other ones but keep coming back to this one. Wish this sound came with a black out screen.
This saved me from having to leave the room when my hubby's snoring gets too loud. I use this fan sound with my small earbuds and it is the only fan/rain sounds that completely blocks our his LOUD snoring! I too have to have a fan of me, no matter how cold it is. I've been soothed by fans for AR least 30 years!
Yeah it’s not good for you that’s way to much on your ears that’s the time where there most exposed because you have no idea how much sound waves are going in your ears and it could be bad

I'm from south Carolina, I remember being 11 years old and there was a huge storm. My grand dad (sip) asked if I'd like to hang out on the porch and watch the storm, I said yes. He puts a fan in the window blowing the cool air from inside on to us. The best nap I have ever taken in my life lol thanks for reminding me of a great memory.

I eas just saying that in a comment above I was saying it reminded me of spending the night at my grandma's house. There was no air conditioning and it was hot as hell so the fans on your sleepy as hell from playing in the pool all day and she let you have some sort of treat her ice cream after dinner and you know Mom would have never given it to you so she tucks you in and as you are falling asleep you look over and see her silly little decorations on the table and just feel so happy and so loved and so lucky as you fall asleep.

One time my phone was upside down and I was half asleep and the panda looked like a creepy creature I couldn’t figure out until I woke up and realized it was just the panda. Good times. Been listening 4+ years. My girlfriend tried to put on the medium speed one and I couldn’t fall asleep, I put this one on and was out like a light. Thank u

If you have a portable speaker or any other sound system with decent BASS you could almost feel the thunder through your ears. This is by far the best and my favorite sleep therapy video. I've used this video every night for over a month at the very least. I use it sometimes on my days off when I take a nap. I believe I would be lost to sleep regularly if this video was no longer available. I don't even need OTC medications to sleep anymore. I could never thank you enough for this video. I stumbled upon this a few days ago. We were on vacation and my daughter was sick and couldn’t sleep. We always run a fan at home. This had us both out in about 10 mins. I’ve used it every night since.

Normally everynight I listen to thunderstorm videos, but when I am traveling or house sitting and can't bring my fan with me....this video is my savior! I love that it has the thunderstorms in the background...and the fan sound is believable. Some of the others sound too fake. Plus the video is long enough to last all night! I wouldn't be able to sleep without it!

This saved me from having to leave the room when my hubby's snoring gets too loud. I use this fan sound with my small earbuds and it is the only fan/rain sounds that completely blocks our his LOUD snoring! I too have to have a fan of me, no matter how cold it is. I've been soothed by fans for AR least 30 years!
sleeping with earbuds while you sleep is bad for your ears. get a pair of noise canceling headphones that you are comfortable with to use instead.
