It was electrical. All smoke and very little to no flame, looked worse than it was. Its back again this year, and in fact seemed to suffer little damage last year. I guess a model or something inside shorted and started billowing smoke, so they got rid of or replaced that one model, and probably touched up cosmetically. TL;DR: Something electrical
