Thank you for showing the beautiful sailboats! They're incredible!I I heard about your channel over on Sailing Kate louise. I hope to build an Oz Goose this winter over here in the states...we'll see if I actually have (make) the time. Thank you again for sharing... it truly motivates me!
Hi! Welcome aboard. We are very lucky to have sailed with Paul @SailingKateLouise and the rest of the RAID Sydney crew. How exciting to build an Oz Goose. What made you decide on that design?
@@afloatinawoodenboat Thank you... It looks like a good boat for a first build. I hope to find the time..I have 1968 Sunfish that needs a little love to practice on. Oh and a 1985-6 Nacra 5.0 but that can wait.
@@afloatinawoodenboat Yup...Me and a budy purchased a pair of Sunfish in 2020, both 1968 I think and they where water logged, we didn't know anything about sailing or sailboats. I found a 1978 dirt cheap later that summer, In great shape, that's what I've been sailing. Purchased and sold a Laser Bug, bought a Hoibe One (to tippy) need to sell that one.... I think I'm hooked...He sailed once.
@@eddrm4685 I think you are indeed hooked! I share your addiction, but I’ve been lucky enough to have salt water in the blood since birth (I will always owe my parents a debt that cannot be repaid for that). Hope to bump into you sometime, though with those boats I think you’ll be a tad faster than us cruisers!
Hi Holly thanks for the video. I’m in Brisbane and I’d like to offer the project hull of a Coulson 5.5 boat made of epoxy glass from a mould . I also have a weighted (lead) centreboard to go with it. It’s free as I don’t think I’m able to complete. Is the a Facebook group for the Tindarra Sailors?
A wonderful video from the day Holly. Some beautiful craft there
Yes it was! So lovely that so many folks came along just to chat too. Sorry we missed you the other day on the bay.
Amazing footage of excellent-built craft. I must admit my jaw dropped with one of them.
Which one caught your eye especially?
Beautiful video and a lovely momento of the day ❤
Thank you for sharing Bodie with us too. He was very special.
What a cool fleet you have up there. Classic boats.
So many beautiful boats. Wait til you see the combined RAID/Tindarra fleet! That brought even more out of the woodwork!
Looks like a beautiful day on the water with a great group of people.
It was! Such a wonderful community.
Awesome to see a gunter rig on that Acorn! I have a similar hull (Cat's Paw Dinghy) with nearly the same rig on it.
Right on, long live Gunter rigs! I love them. Cat’s Paw dinghies are so cute. Where do you sail yours?
Sorry for your loss of Bodie. Dogs are such special parts of our lives.
I know. My heart goes out to Petrea - Bodie was a very special little boy and everyone in Tindarra Sailors knew him. I will pass on your message.

Hi there! What an exciting project. Tindarra don’t have a fb group, but they use telegram. If you’re on fb, send me a message and I can connect you!
