Have a relationship with God and go to Him yourself. Thats was Ciara’s prayer not yours because she wanted something specific. I think its ridiculous. God is attainable by everyone. What He did for Ciara he can also do for you. Believe in it instead of someones else prayer. Take it as motivation but have your own prayer. When it comes from the heart. God will open the floodgates for you!

She also spoke about friendship how they became friends first. This was my favorite red table interview.

The way Ciara talks about her and her husbands relationship is exactly how it was when I met my husband and we were dating. The only difference was I didn’t have kids and he didn’t either. Our marriage is a blossoming and beautiful blessing. I prayed for my soulmate as well. I’m really happy her and her husband found each other. What a beautiful couple for men and women to look up to.

That was my prayer too! I said "God, please take over because obviously I don't know what I'm doing. I trust You. You know what's best for me. In the name of Jesus, I surrender all to you". Lo and behold 3 months later my husband came to church to meet me. We'd met briefly a few months prior and he'd been trying to get my phone number from a church sister (who never gave it to him lol). 5 months later we were engaged and we were married another 8 months later. I believe it happened quickly because I had already begun the process to becoming a saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit woman of God. What’s amazing about life’s lessons is when you have been through some rough or bad relationships/situations it makes you value the good things when you receive them. Honey Ciara and her prayer gave the girls hope. Seeing Russ step up with fathering her son was the best part of it all, seeing her look so happy is awesome.

I'm so happy for Ciara. I got blessed with my own "Russell Wilson" 10 years ago. He took on the dad role and has been dad ever since. My oldest 2 are now 13 and 16 & are so close with my husband plus we have a daughter together. He treats me like a Queen & our daughters like his princesses but without being spoiled. To top it off, he is also a Godly man. Prayers do work ladies, just don't expect them to all look like Russell Wilson...lol

I agree about the calm. Sometimes we really get accustomed to drama, arguing and etc. and it becomes our norm. When I met my then bf now fiancé I was use to the craziness that I’d dealt with other men and was nervous/confused about how calm our relationship was... We don’t break up every other week, I wasn’t chasing him, going through each other phones and etc. it was and is a calm loving relationship.

Talking about this actually makes me miss my Facebook discussions with fellow women, on addiction to drama and dysfunction and how a lot of women suffer from saviour complex and they end up wasting their time trying to repair damage and broken men, because they didn't know better, because they were raised to believe they have to entertain such men in the first place.
That is why it is imperative to continue to have discussions about issues like these, so that many young women can unlearn and relearn.

If ever their was a clean slate for men and women to go with the highly overused phrase "I'm trying to build something together" the ideal instance would be when both parties are on the same playing field. I've never seen 3 hours of cheering caps and gowns without men being on the stage as well ? At hbcu blk men also walk across the stage and get their names called. I say all that to say the young woman in college best bet is to date her male counterparts who are also in college ? So when u say their are no good men around ..... that's b.s.. what u mean to say is their are no ready made fairy tale lifestyles around. The catch is and what apparently women don't get is in order to have said lifestyle they either have to be prepared to earn it themselves or they have to date already established men... theirs ur catch. Already established men equals older men in most case which also means more experienced men more games more tricks more guys to tell u what they think u want to hear. More players more guys with unclear intentions. And because in our society women actually believe that puberty also encompasses their intellectual abilities y'all believe the attention ur getting from older men is because although ur younger than the guy he likes u because ur just oh so mature ? That's not ur best option and stop kidding yourselves. Another most alarming statement made in ur response is the " they only ignore good guys if their unattractive" ? Well that's just the point of the dilemma. As young women ur sold a dream that u can have it all.
