I will be visiting Urbino for a couple of days in March! I have been looking forward to it for so long. Thanks for the walking tour and your recommendations. You have confirmed my choice!
We will be visiting Urbino for a few days before heading to Venice for Easter. We will have a car and are interested in day trips from Urbino. Curious what towns you might suggest. I have been scouring various sites to find towns that would be worthy of day trips, but not more than a few hours away. We are staying in Urbino as our son will be there studying before Easter break. Thanks - love all your videos!
In April 2003 we visited several small, old cities in the southeast Tuscany. The problem there was that there were too few tourists, especially before noon, so they looked almost deserted, with few restaurants and bakeries around.
Ciao Valeria! Interesting town and history of Urbino! Did you know that many scholars believe that the modern image of what many people use for Jesus Christ was actually modeled after portraits of Cesare Borgia? If you look at their portraits they are VERY similar. Just a bit of information for you. Buona giornata, Paul in Firenze
