I hate the comparison between them both. I enjoy the new groups a lot and I am proud of groups like BTS, BlackPink, Twice and Got7 I just get extremely frustrated and annoyed when I hear comments that are used soooo loosely in regards to the older generation of KPOP which in my opinion is a better representation of KPOP. But its not my favorite song from them I actually think their B-sides and or previous songs after I am the best are their greatest songs. The reason why Black Pink is always compared to 2ne1 is because of the girl crush concept which not many female groups try to do, same company, 4 members etc... But in my opinion with losing 2ne1 and 4minute the void still is not fully filled yet. The edginess of 2ne1 as a whole makes them the greatest female group in KPOP History (I DO NOT CARE FOR SALES, I DONT CARE FOR YOUR FAVES OR THE NEW GROUPS BREAKING RECORDS... THESE GIRLS WHERE HERE FIRST!!!!!!) !!! (COME FOR ME FANDOMS) I will stay behind what I just said because these ladies do not conform, they were Koreas source of female empowerment and every female girl crush group after them cannot compare for they paved the way with self produced content, female empowerment as well as female independence!!!!! And this is not even coming from their fan because I am not a blackjack I just have mad respect for these 4 girls. I would just like to add that CL does not release a lot of content unfortunately so her solo career isn't as strong as what it should be. I can only hope for her to release more in the future!

I just wanted to add that you need to see 2ne1's live shows. BINGE watch them Monroe because once you start you cannot stop. (The last MAMA Performance with 2ne1) is probably one of the greatest things I have ever seen on youtube due to the fact that they were on hiatus and gave the biggest surprise in MAMA history and it is probably reaction worthy.
I highly recommend reacting to 2ne1 - Come Back Home (Reggaeton vibe, upbeat, changes instrumentals alot, also one of the highest paid for music videos in Kpop) and 2ne1 - Goodbye (will make you emotional but a great song, last song from them).

(My second favorite kpop song of all time because of what it represents as well as this is my favorite kpop group out of all of them. They have the most recognizable voices and individuality out of all boy groups imo (besides Bigbang or B2st of course) as well as Daehyuns voice is arguably one of the best of his generation.)

@@user-gv6hp4xh4m Ofc BlackPink is its own entity. Yes they are a manifestation of 2NE1 as a whole but they have their own individuality which separates both groups. I hate the comparison between them both. I enjoy the new groups a lot and I am proud of groups like BTS, BlackPink, Twice and Got7 I just get extremely frustrated and annoyed when I hear comments that are used soooo loosely in regards to the older generation of KPOP which in my opinion is a better representation of KPOP. I get frustrated when people say Lisa is the best kpop dancer of all time. Not shitting on her at all because I love Queen Lisa but when we have idols like BoA, Minzy, Hyoyeon, Hoya, Gikwang, Taemin, Yoona, Hyuna, JongUp, Taeyang, Eunhyuk, Kahi, Bora etc... its almost like... you just cannot make comments like that, it just sounds to ignorant to me... Not discrediting the new gen of dancers like Jisung, Lisa, Momo, Ten, Yugyeom, Feeldog, Seulgi etc... its just frustrating because all the older gen that I previously listed have danced for more than 15+ maybe more years now and have dedicated their life to this industry and have to go through harsher conditions then what we are seeing now and do not get the credit they deserve. YG REALLY NEEDS TO GIVE CL 4 COMEBACKS and LEE HI 3 and I will be satisfied.
