E-40 distances himself from mainstream and popular culture and takes his own individual approach, yet he acknowledges and embraces Yoda. This is likely because of Yodas deep wisdom and unorthodox ways of thinking. The contradiction between disliking Star-wars, yet embracing Yoda is an interesting insight to Social philosophy.
E-40 is telling the audience that he is not like most people, he makes his own decisions and does not fall into any subjective categories.
He could be seen as a pragmatic man; taking distance from superficial activities and thought processes such as star-wars, but wanting to embrace the nuances of life in a similar manner to Yoda.
As displayed earlier in the song with the line "You still sell dope? (Nope) Now you cleaner than a bar of Dove soap? (Yup)"
E-40 Takes distance from his peers who are still on the street involved in the illegal sale of narcotics. E-40 recognizes that even though this is seen as a respected activity within his group, he takes his own unconventional approach to making money and finds success in doing so.
Overall E-40 is a deeply complex man with many intrinsic values that he shares to us with clever rhymes and word play
