I think from what I hear in the song, it's about how the human race has started to rely on individual people. Sometimes, those people are not who they appear to be and corrupt everything but have a flock of sheep by their side no matter what. It's why this one and Love To Hate is my favorites on their album, because they never have shyed away from these topics most are afraid of talking about.

I absolutely love the chorus of this song. What the words are saying and the way he is singing them makes me feel like he's representing those of us who are really wondering why the world has come to the chaos it has come to. As I hear the chorus, it makes me think of people literally on their knees begging for an answer. Begging to understand why things are the way they are as a result of corrupt leadership. This song just paints the big picture and I find it so relatable.
Also those riffs go insanely hard.
Disturbed never disappoints, best anti-war song I’ve heard. My favorite music video too.
It's actually about the war between Russia and Ukraine draiman said it himself during the listening party they held when they dropped the album

Best of the album in my opinion. Only one that truly strikes a balance of heavy and unique.
He did an interview about the album. He said the album is mostly about the current state of humanity and all the craziness and corrupt leaders. He's not a republican or democrat so he doesn't take sides. It's about the craziness from both sides which I can totally get on board with. I try not to follow any one person without question, or let them sway me into believing a lie. It can be hard to sort the lies from the truth sometimes but I at least try.

What I think about it ?
This is the most powerful song i've ever heard from Disturbed.
I mean, this one goes through me like a spire, it goes right through my feelings. The rythm guitar feels like a pair of hammers kicking inside my guts. And David is in his period of glory, his vocals are perfect.
I really cried listening to this, last time it happend was when I first heard their cover of Sound of Silence.
That's how I feel.
The song originated with guitarist Dan Donegan's riff, then frontman David Draiman improvised the lyrics, which are heavily influenced by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. "I was so inspired being back in the room with a new producer Drew Fulk," Donegan recalled to Revolver. "I said, 'Throw a beat at me that's aggressive and straightforward, just driving.'"
After Donegan wrote the riff to go with Fulk's beat, Draiman started scatting the melody, and the words "bad man" came out, which were "a bit inspired about world events that were happening and on his mind."
According to Disturbed drummer Mike Wengren, Draiman wasn't directly pointing fingers at Russian president Vladimir Putin, but it's influenced by the situation in Ukraine. "Whether it's a personal list or it's a worldwide list, there's a long list of people that could fit that description right there," he told Reno's rock station Rock 104.5, "That could definitely be 'Bad Woman' too, but 'Bad Man' just fit the syllables of the song, the cadence."
The Russians were invading Ukraine as Disturbed were writing the song, so Draiman felt it appropriate that they highlight innocents at the mercy of a bad man. "I feel for the people of Ukraine and everything that they've had to deal with and experience and are continuing to experience," he told HardDrive Radio. "It's horrific to watch the play-by-play of a full-scale war. And it's a shame that it's become just a matter of, like, 'Oh, this is what we do. We check in to see what happened.' As opposed to - I don't know - doing more as a world, other than just throwing tons of money at the situation and contributing to more death and violence. I wish there was more that we could do as a planet to just apply enough pressure in the right places from the right people to make the madman stop."

I think it's fire! Love Disturbed. And I don't know for sure, but my impression is that it is related to politics; I think most of the album is. No matter individual opinions, which I believe are varied, as a band they're pretty careful to not land on one side or the other. It seems to me they are equal opportunity haters, not liking any politicians - pick a politician and it probably applies. Lol
