- TAS on BIT.TRIP BEAT Growth (Tool Assisted Superplay/Speedrun (some call it superplay, some call it speedrun... so there's both xD))
This is for those who want to see perfect on every BIT.TRIP level, because I get annoyed when I see someone mess something up for some reason lmao. Let us all grow in Growth... (Idfk why, just do).

I have no idea why there's no sound on the last two cutscenes... that's a glitch on the games end. This also happened to me when I was playing normally on the Wii.
Jesus, the game should've given you a double perfect on this level... cause that boss is *HAAAAAAARD*

This level is a god damn drug trip, and it culminates into probably the hardest boss in the series, too.
Core bosses are hard as balls too tbh
What if Transition was in the bloodstream, Descent was to the nucleus and Growth in the nucleus?
No actually I interpret it as:
Transition is either the forming of the Egg in a Uterus or a soul going into a newly formed Egg given what we see in FLUX.
Descent is the descent of the New Egg down a uterus.
Growth's intro has that bit hitting Commander Video which i interpret as the seed impregnating the egg as the rest of Growth has a Brain and basic eye's and there sockets forming in the background. This is symbolic of the growth of a newborn.
I think this theory is supported by the intro of CORE and the Ending of BEAT with commander video seeing a light that goes towards him representing his birth into the physical world.
It's an extremely sexual interpretation i know.
@@mitchellalexander9162 You know I was wondering if I was the only one who had a much more sexual interpretation of this part of the saga. Though mine's a bit different, the differences mainly only applies to transition though.
I interpret it as:
Transition is his parents having intercourse (hear me out)
the blue planet you see at the beginning representing the father (it isn't the same planet thingy we see at the end of flux they look similar but are actually different if you look at the shape and color of them) the lava planet representing the mother. One of the reasons I think this is the case, is because the boss of transition in my opinion (may just be my dirty train of thought) looks kinda like a sexual act, if you look at the shape the orange beats make. And this level is him transitioning from the father to the mother and thus also transitioning from the non physical plane to a physical one.
The planet at the end of flux could represent the full manifestation of death which is an entirely different concept hard to comprehend therefore it looks broken with no clear way to piece it together. And the beginning planet representing life thus it would have to be his father, since the only one that can bring life to commander video is well, a combined effort of his father and mother.
So basically in a nutshell the first planet would represent the state of non existence but as well as the creation of life (aka fornication) thus why he is "transitioning" from the state of non existence from the father, to the state of existence on the physical plane by transferring over to the mother and being born. and the planet at the end of flux representing the same thing of non existence but instead representing death. And the lava planet represents the mother, and the physical plane of existence, with the core at the end representing the egg.
Decent and growth aren't really that much different from most people.
Descent like I said is the sperm's journey through the uterus and fallopian tube and the fertilization of the egg.
And growth is obviously the development of the fetus.
Yeah again pretty sexual interpretation but it's just how I see it.

I like how the cross from Bit.Trip Core shows up right at the end, delivered by excavator.
I find it funny how I've owned BIT.TRIP BEAT on the Wii and PS4 for at least 9 years. And just 1 month and a half ago, I beat beat.

Sucks that most objects in the level (Like the airplanes, trains, house, TV and tractor) weren't in the 3DS version...

I've never come across a game that has music that can make a pong final boss so engaging and intense.

I believe there used to be an app of this game, titled BIT.TRIP BEAT BLITZ, which was on iOS published by Bandai Namco, but I think it’s been gone for awhile since they haven’t updated it for iOS 9+

I played this so often that I could get to the boss almost every time, but I’d still lose to the boss 9 times out of 10.
