I will try to grow this summer. I will just grow in the plastic pot. I will stack with bamboo sticks which I have.

I grow okra in sand also with some good dark compost tilled in on top. Fish emulsion grows them super well. I use this fertilizer about every 4th watering. I do not need to stake and tie my plants and its very windy here in the desert.

Just enough water to soak the entire contents in the grow-bag. Too much water will drain away the manure. Watering the plants during evening is ideal bcz it will keep the plants & the roots/soil cool till sunshine on the next day. This will enable plants to grow well and produce more.
