Bro this video is fantastic! I think you should do a series on Mixing where you do a deep dive of every step one video at a time. That would be invaluable. At least for me! 😂 but yea great work. I learned a lot. And if you make more of these kind of videos I’ll learn more! Lol
Great video, I just wrote to Akai to beg for a way to check loudness, stand-alone, RMS/LUFS specifically. It’s strange that they don’t already include it.
Thanks alot! Got my akai one a month ago and since I don't have any computer I really wanted to learn to mix. Will try this out, great tutorial! Cheers mate and have a great weekend!
@@MikeGano Hi Mike! I tried my best to follow your tips and it worked really good (but I know some steps for me was Hard but ill learn). Almost in the end you talked about pan, delays etc. Would be cool if you had time to cover that. Also, is it possible to see the hz on the kick in the mpc? I had no clue what hz my kick was at. Anyways thanks again, it sound much better after then before 😁👍
We need more videos like this, until Akai gift us a way to check RMS and LUFS, we’re all trying to streamline our process without using a DAW #Akai come on fellas.
Hi I’m new to sound design on the mpc one and I was just wondering what software you use as your meter to read the frequency like at the beginning of this video …
This is mixing noise into the mix. I need a tutorial of how to use this mpc to record instruments and make tunes and songs with beats and bass with mpc drums or i could sample my own real drums and real guitars !
Great tutorial thanks for sharing. I have had the same problem figuring out how to do with my MPC what i did on my DAW. Yes they have equal plugins, but they feel a whole lot different on the MPC. Where can i find a sample of Purple Noise ?
So much for learning English and mixing on my mpc one, I subscribe to your channel from France.

Yeah there’s a few things they could sort out…payed them enough money for it like
Fantastic information all across the video about this wonderful/powerful musical instrument
great video. I will be coming back to this again and again. thanks so much.
Great tips, I'm going to try this tomorrow.

Thanks Mr. Mike On Point.
Merci 👍
C'est vraiment du bon travail et tu donne d'excellentes informations dans tes vidéos.
Ta chaine est une belle découverte !
Well done please do more mixing and mastering videos ❤
Yes, very good, this is exactly what I need, mix and master, although I dont have any beats yet. I SUBBED.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks, some great knowledge on the mix
Happy to share
Well finding the range on the kick on a spectrum analyser is a privilege a standalone user doesn’t have 😅
Nice video though
Interesting, I’ll try this on my next track, thanks! FYI perhaps it’s easier to solo each sound vs. muting everything prior.
Cool 😎

Nice Vid. I was wondering about making tracks mono, how would u do that?
Nice tutorial! Bass sounds very good. Did you use an existing patch or you made the sound from scratch? Can you share the preset?
Bro nice vibes lol

Can I do what you did in the same way with the MPC X SE?
Great tutorial thanks for sharing. I have had the same problem figuring out how to do with my MPC what i did on my DAW. Yes they have equal plugins, but they feel a whole lot different on the MPC. Where can i find a sample of Purple Noise ?
Ha! I had to google purple noise to see if that was real.
@16:00 how and why are you mixing eq with out looping or monitoring what these settings are doing to the sound ?
ничего не понятно, но очень интерестно
So in stand alone you use the pink noise so in the software you use a third-party plugin yes or
