Love it I'm with usaa hopefully that's good enough
You didn't have to mislead with the thumbnail of 6% you could have just talked about all being over 4.5
How do you use the interest to purchase stuff with? Looking to open a high yield savings account
So each month, the interest that you have from your savings account is going to be deposited into your savings account. So if you want to use this to purchase stuff, you just pull out the money from your savings account and put it into your checking account.
@@daniel.sparks I see, I use Wells Fargo
So I could transfer it over to cover my credit card bill ? (Excluding the high yield savings account that doesn’t do wire transfers)
Used to have discovered high yield and it dropped awhile back. Was stacking money. Had 20k back in the day but life happens and had to use it
That’s sucks, you’ll get it back just keep grinding
Good video, question: if I put 20k in my high yields account, and 5 percent of that is 1000. Will I get 1000 per month or is it just for the whole year? lol thx
That’s the whole year
any thoughts on M1 high yield cash account? 5% apy FDIC insured as well
They look very solid! They insure
$5 million which is really really good! They’ve only been around since 2015 so they aren’t as established as some of the other banks but still a solid option.
@@daniel.sparks cool. I use them as my investment account so it will be easy for me to have my savings/investments/roth ira all on 1 platform
what about hard pulls for these
As far as I know non of them do, I think that CIT bank might.
I don't make enough money at McDonalds to satisfy Sofi's minimum deposit requirement for the higher rate.
There is no minimum direct deposit amount to receive 4.60% APY. The Deposit is only to meet the sign up bonus but you can open up the savings account for free.
@@daniel.sparks oh okay! I will get it
Misleading Thumbnail for no reason
4.6 inches😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I noticed that too. 😭
The part I hate about all these HYSA is the stupid rules they have like Sofi. If you really want customers why put all the stupid restrictions on it? Why do they care if the money coming from the employers or your own money you have saved up? Poop! I will never sign up with those kind of banks and their stupid rules. I am using Primis bank at 5.07% over a year now with no stupid rules and restrictions.
Banks often implement rules and restrictions on high-yield savings accounts to maintain profitability. While these restrictions can be frustrating, they're often in place to protect the bank. It's great that you've found a bank like Primis that offers a competitive rate without burdensome rules.
