Great review ! 🙂👍I have the Blu-ray steelbook version with the cardboard slip to make it look like the VHS tape. I like my steelbook/slip a lot but this 4K set takes it up multiple notches ! 🙂 It's a good movie ! I like the Japanese original as well. I think the Japanese version has the best/creepiest "video footage" but the American remake is the more enjoyable watch overall.
@@tigerblue42 I absolutely agree, the original had slightly better horror elements definitely but overall I enjoy this more. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.
Awesome review and thanks for sharing. This brings back so many memories from back then. I was back in high school when I saw this in theaters way back in 2002. YT wasn't even around yet. This one of those movies that creeped me out. I still have the original VHS copy. The good times though.
@@Bates1960 I love the way that people have memories of times attached to movies. I think that’s what makes them so unique for everyone in different ways. Thank you so much for watching the video, I really appreciate it.
Nice collection definitely and a great horror film. I love the film one of my favourites. Hopefully they will release a standard 4k version then I would buy it.
@@MadMartysMovieReviews-gv6hk Thanks for watching Marty I really appreciate it. Yeah it’s a lovely edition, I’ll be sure to check out your video once you put it up 🙂 thanks again
Do the art cards form an image on the back? Looks like they might.....As for the look, that dank, wet green gloominess - I always thought, maybe like the inside of a well.
@@alonzoharris222 but those few bits of “tatty paper” maybe more valued by others as collectors. That’s what makes these kind of things subjective. I like those kind of things but I appreciate some people won’t. I agree with you about it having no special features. An odd decision for sure. Thank you for watching the video, I really appreciate it 🙂
Do you have this edition? Do you prefer the remake? Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.

@@FlicksAndPixels So true, 2002 was the best year for movies.
@@Bates1960 there have been multiple great years. The 80’s and 90’s are what stand out for me personally

@@davidjacovelli5986 they don’t form an image unfortunately, that is something I thought too but sadly they don’t
Nice review but not so sure it's vfm. Just a few bits of tatty paper, no book, no extra features on disc. Seems well overpriced to me.
