    I joined 1 month ago. $99 Starter Pack got a cute box with Everything I needed 2 start jewelry included about $140 worth. I literally took the box 2 work, got on the floor (nursing) sum1 Noticed the box & curiosity got it rolling! I sold everything in that box except 6 pieces but I made my $99 back & a profit! 1 nurse told another person & I'm now on my Second order. The jewelry Isn't Crap anymore than the $5 jewelry u buy at the hair supply store or Walmart! The difference Is it's Lead & Nickel Free so it Doesn't turn on you. Do you wear Walmart jewelry in the shower, 2 play basketball or sleep in it? Most likely no it's Costume Jewelry & as Any business you get Out what you Put In. I plan on going big cause I see potential & I'm driven. Good luck 2 all that try👑🍷

      I agree. We got this as a side business actually for my 12 year old to make money. She sales to her friends at school and is saving the profits for college. I also have a few coworkers that buy at this point I wouldn't consider this a main income but starting early to save for college can't hurt even if the profit is small. Even online sales from family out of town go straight to her savings account.
      Side note: we only sale to family/coworkers/friends. So we dont have to worry about booth fees or shipping to people.

      Yes I do wear Walmart jewelry in the shower and sleep with it....unlike the jewelry I've ordered and it arrived broken and missing stones. I can go to walmart and have better customer service than any papparrazi consultant. Also I dont have to deal with constant lives, pushy consultants, and no taxes or shipping costs.

    Not to be the sour grape in the bunch but this scenario doesn't take into account that most people don't pay rent for a booth at their local flea market nor do they attend trade shows. So lets be very liberal here and say it takes the average person 24 hours to move those 110 pieces of inventory you just earned yourself 9.71 an hour. Again that's being generous and assuming all the inventory is sold in a 2 day period. If it takes you 4 days you are now making a hefty 4 dollar and change per hour. Not factoring in any business related expenses like gas or mileage or meals or marketing expenses. Can you make money here.. yeah Im sure you can. The question you have to ask yourself is the exchange of time and effort vs reward worth it?

    What she does not say is that if you have 100 items for sale that cost $317.00 and you sold all the pieces for $500.00 making a $233.00 profit now you are out of product so you have to buy more inventory we will say 100 pieces and then you take the $233.00 profit - $317.00 to replace the 100 pieces and you are in the hole $84.00.

  • @jess_bounce
    @jess_bounce 5 років тому +13

    Let’s just make this REALLY simple. A consultant makes $1.83 per piece sold. If a consultant buys in groups of 10, she makes $2.33 per piece sold (Because of the free piece thrown in for every 10 purchased from Paparazzi). The $2.33 per piece does not even include the shipping, gas, and time costs incurred by selling and distributing what you sell. So minus that off each piece.
    If you are considering getting into this scheme, consider how much jewelry you would have to sell to make it worth it.
    Also, it isn’t risk free just because you can make a profit. Otherwise every business on earth would be “risk free.” Risk free would be if you could send unsold jewelry back to Paparazzi for a full refund. A consultant takes a risk every time she buys jewelry from Paparazzi b/c there is a chance it won’t be sold, and the consultant just eats that cost.
    Don’t use terms you don’t understand, and you clearly don’t understand what “risk free” means.

  • @jesstran8054
    @jesstran8054 5 років тому +8

    Sounds great.
    But no business can sell all the products. What if you cannot sell all 100 pieces? You can only sell 30 or 50 instead and couldn't sell more. What are you going to do with it? And other costs even don't count yet. If you dont recruit people, it's hard to make profit.

    You say there’s no risk because you at least make back your money. That’s assuming people actually want all 100 pieces. I spoke with a woman in our area who is huge in paparazzi and does it full time. She lives and breathes her “business” and has a bunch of people under her. She told me you “Never. Ever.” sell every single piece you buy from paparazzi. She estimated she gets stuck with about 5-10% of her inventory. She also said newer sellers get stuck with a lot more-sometimes more than 50% of each order but they have to keep ordering more inventory to stay “active” and because a lot of the stuff is seasonal and you need the newest stuff if you actually want to sell anything. So let’s not forget that on your 100 pieces if you get stuck with 10 pieces no one wants to buy, that’s $31.70 you need to subtract from your profit. If it’s 50% that means you just got stuck with $158 of crappy jewelry you don’t want and just spent all month hawking jewelry day and night for a whopping $25. If it took you 40 hours of networking, facebook posting, selling live on facebook,, talking to co-workers, selling at craft fairs, etc., you just made about $3.90 per hour on the high end and about $0.62 per hour on the low end.

      Dick Goezinya I agree. I was wondering what the profit is on a piece of $5.00 jewelry. It’s worse then I thought. I sell jewelry -higher end jewelry. Making 2.00 on one piece of jewelry and having to put all that time in is not worth it to most. You do have to be a real hustler at that profit margin. I see people on fb selling all the time and now I’m actually feeling bad for them. I don’t want to comment on the quality. Some pieces looked very nice but reality -what quality do you expect for $5.00. I wish everyone well with their paparazzi sales. I give everyone a lot of credit constantly going live on fb

    That is a gross profit. Costs to ship the jewelry, let's say $40 and there is an opportunity cost. But if one is ordering 100 pieces there is no shipping charge from P (no shipping for orders over $100 dollars which is less than 100 pieces.) and 10 free pieces does compensate for the shipping charges. Now if you have a live sale and sell 100 in a night which is doable in say 2 hours so not a bad payday. The real income comes from selling several hundred pieces a week and from having a team of MANY so one receives an override from those that are active and ordering.

    Hi I would just like to say, this sounds good but it is not true. She brought a 100 @ 2.75 per piece which is 275.00 plus tax, shipping is free when you spend $100. She made 2.25 off of each piece you do the math 2.25*100 on my calculator on equals 225.00. The free pieces are usually stuff that you would not sell anyway, but you could that would mean you just break even. I sell paparazzi when I want in my spare time. I did my research before buying the kit and everyone else should as well. Just Do Not Let anyone tell you that you are going to make this huge profit and remember everyone is selling it now so it maybe hard to find a customer base. A lot of consultants are giving it up simply for that reason, you can't have everybody become a consultant because then who do you sell to.

      You get $2.25 in commission for every piece of jewelry someone orders from paparazzi THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE. They are purchasing from paparazzi, through you. Paparazzi will ship them the jewelry and you make a commission off of it.

You would then sell at the rate of $5.00×33= $165. You would subtract the $90.75 you paid from the $165 you earned and your profit would be ($74.25). You would charge your customer shipping and taxes as well. You would charge your customer a transaction fee if using credit card or PayPal just like they would pay any vendor if their order is not at the minimum amount. You also can decide to add those cost on your business taxes if you want. There is money being made with Paparazzi.

      Each piece is $5.00 plus tax so $5.35, Now each piece cost consultant $2.75 and she sells it for a $2.25 profit. Because you pay .07% tax and then you charge customer same .07% tax.You pay for delivery fee which an order over $100 is Free shipping so you just charge the customer ahead of time for shipping.Now you will see some consultants charge over what it will cost for shipping which each time it is usually pennies,but add that up and it balances because some ppl go over on their shipping cost!Now you can always get your $ back even if you quit bc there is some one out there that will want this jewerly for $2.75 you just have to find them.As she said in video not saying you have to order that amount,but my wife sells it and she got the kit made the $ it costs to buy then bought more jewerly and we put the $100 back in the bank and took profit to reorder

    • @EmmilieRoseBoutique

      And you charge the customer for shipping too. Unless they are local, sell the free pieces you get and just 1 of them pays for the shipping... but you get free shipping after $100. So there's that...

      Jaime McCowan tax is money paid by the customer that owed to the state, not the seller.

    • @queenchica6623
      @queenchica6623 5 років тому

      It's owed to the seller because when paying for your inventory, Paparazzi charges the consultant tax at their state rate on the $5 not the $2.75 consultant rate. Paparazzi report those taxes to your state on your behalf. When you charge tax to your customer, you are getting your money back that you paid on the $5 for your inventory.

      Odettas Paparazzi Bling: You should be charging your customers a shipping and handling fee to recoup your costs for S&H.

    • @sarahpalazzo1504
      @sarahpalazzo1504 6 років тому

      Shipping and handling is free if you order over $100. You should be charging the customer for tax, but not for shipping and handling as they are usually cash and carry parties.

    This is inaccurate because she didn't include fees. Secondly, never say it's risk free no business is RISK FREE! I sell on eBay and make much, much more than selling this, not worth the time and effort, not enough payout. My profit margins are pretty high and I can easily make $200. In an hour not days. You need to prepare a better presentation because you omitted alot from this video, the profit you mathematically showed is erroneous. You may want to do some serious research, based on your math I would never sign up under you. You're too inexperienced. Business is business.

      The rings turn my fingers green and the elastic part of the ring turns rusty very quick....especially if it gets wet {washing hands}. Some of the necklaces have left green marks on my neck as well. Once, I left a pair of earrings on my counter near the kitchen sink and the metals in the jewelry turned my countertop rusty!!
