They really are very matured and humble. I remember there's this interview where they were asked how they feel and what they think of their popularity and success. And they answered, that now that they are popular and more people are listening to their music, they are feeling more sense of responsibility in making good music with great messages for their listeners. I was caught off guard by their answer, instead of thinking on how to maintain their popularity and/or being proud and showing off their success, they were thinking on how they can influence their listeners and use their music to spread good messages and stick to their company's goal of being artists that produces music for healing. 💜💜💜
I can't remember where I saw/heard this comment but I remember someone saying BTS don't view fame as a privilege or reward but rather a responsibility and that really describes them perfectly.
Jungkook said something to the likes of feeling the weight of crown and how they feel they have that responsibility of pushing forward good lyrics at the Grammy museum interview! 💜
I think one of my favorite things about BTS and Bighit is that they don't underestimate the intelligence of the ARMY. I love that they give us challenges that makes us think because they know us and they know we enjoy solving puzzles. It makes us confident in ourselves too. Excited for you to watch Run!BTS. It's hilarious and just fun :)
You are becoming one of my favorite reactors when it comes to BTS. I love how you dissect/take every bit of information in and not make it seem like you’re acting like you understand it but really you don’t . I appreciate you a lot for that 💯💯💯 Keep It Up🤗 We have to get to those Cypher now it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I am becoming a fan of your thoughtful reactions. Your genuine understanding and appreciation of our boys shows you've become a true ARMY. What we love most about BTS is the humanity in their music and their personalities. We are blessed to have them in our lifetime. They are truly making a difference in this world and changing the lives of millions around the world for the better. They are the greatest boy band and one of the greatest legends of all time. Glad to be in this wonderful journey with you.😄💜

i'm glad you stumbled upon it. you're one of the most open-minded guy out here and really delved into who they are rather than sticking to a preconception of what a boyband is. thank you. 💜

“BTS is the real artist......” Your review/comments are great and you are becoming my favorite reactor when about BTS. Your are smart and have a thoughtful opinion. Always waiting your next reaction to BTS.
I have learned many things from them as simply as watched their mv, variety shows, DVD concerts makes me know and still learn other languages than my daily language.
I found out about your channel a few days ago and have since been binging so many of your videos 😂 I've been an army for about a year now so many of the things you learn here are still new for me too and I learn with you. I love your reactions. You're not a choreographer or producer or dancer or singer or whatever reacting to BTS based on your knowledge of the industry, but you're just you and you share your honest opinions on everything. Thank you! ❤️ I love the fact that you've gone from a reaction channel to a BTS reaction channel. That's what BTS does to you 😂 They're so complex that there's so much to learn about their talent, performances, personality, journey and message!
i just cant wait for you to start listening to cyphers. also ddaeng, baepsae, spine breaker, idol together with explanation videos. I would suggest for you to look at DKDKTV ch for explanation to those. their deep and hidden meaning lyrics sometimes hard for foreigner to understand because of culture references. ✌🏻
I really agree with you about how amazing it is how they integrate so much of their content to tell such a wonderful story about growing up and human nature. BUT I just wanted to say to be careful not to ascribe all their songs as being part of the storyline. Many of their songs are of a personal nature and are from their own personal experiences and it wouldn't do those songs justice to try to fit them into a fictional storyline, even if that storyline is very much about real-life issues people face every day. Also, some songs really are for fun and rocking out! Though tbh even a lot of those do have a deeper meaning as well haha That's just BTS life for you
9:52 yes i agree 100% with you and that's something i really love and admire form them! the fact that they are aware of their success but still decide to live up to their name and reputation and exceed expectations by outdoing themselves everytime, working hard for the sake of their artistry and love for music, it just tells a whole lot of how different they are from anyone in the music industry right now. Their talent goes beyond words and it honestly makes me feel so motivated when i see them working hard because it makes me feel like i should do it too or even more to be even with them lmao. Thank u sm for your reaction~ And ah yes, run bts! is literally The Best show out there i swear! you'll get to know bts members in a whole another level lolol they're the funniest people and sooo chaotic omg, i promise that you'll learn to appreciate their bond and friendship at least 500 times with every ep you watch. Have fun~ Oh btw, i know you haven't seen all their mv's but i'd suggest you to watch xceleste's "bts storyline summary + explanation" video already? so you can get an idea of what goes on in their mv's hhh it's the most... mindblowing! thing you'll see.
I totally agree with what RM said that more than the beat and vibes of the song the lyrics is the most important. Honestly, the music beat is the first that catches my attention on a song before the lyrics and I feel really attached to a song if I know that the lyrics is beautiful and meaningful. That's why I really love BTS's music
I love this reaction! thank you for reacting to this! By the way I would love it if you could react to some of their recent logs and chats with the fans like the one you saw of RM talking about the importance of lyrics. Another one is the conversations they have over dinner for festa which is the BTS debut week anniversary celebration we have every year, I think you would love those and it would be a good thing to watch to get more of a sense for them as individuals and as a group. These dinners get so introspective and so very personal that it is uncanny the things they reveal about themselves to the fans and the public. here is the link for the 2019 one: ua-cam.com/video/CPW2PCPYzEE/v-deo.html here is the link for the 2018 one: ua-cam.com/video/K4Melso7MPU/v-deo.html
I'm glad you decided to do a (big) journey with BTS, I always enjoy to see your reaction from the beginning. Sadly I can't effort to be your patreon, but I'll look forward to your UA-cam channel of BTS. Keep the good work!
Yes!!! You’re reacting to Run BTS! It’s about time... you’ll learn to love the boys more after watching them in action during RUN. Looking forward to it, DT!
They also personally donate🥺 last year we found out Jin’s been donating to UNICEF for a long time now. But it was always kept low. But they decided to say it bc they said good examples need to be shown and I’m so grateful 🥺
8 months ago I was having a hard time both in my personal and professional life and I will be forever grateful for the day I stumbled upon their music. These days if I’m having a hard time I just tell myself ‘ Everything goes’. Like what RM said, you just have to find an outlet or any thing that could make you happy. For him it’s collecting figurines and for me it’s listening to their music. Now, after all the Bon Voyages, all the Runs, the summer packages, the winter package, the vlives and all their shows and performances, I’m finally taking a step towards self growth and career growth. At 33, Outro: Wings was life changing. It tells me to ‘ Spread spread spread my wings’ and whenever I’m in doubt about my decisions I just listen to that song. My dream is within reach now and I could never thank the Tannies enough for the inspiration and the push that they gave me. 💜💜💜
I think the next will be your reaction to BTS' dance practices sweat & all! 😄😄😄 take your time! we all go thru this phase though! Enjoy the ride & have fun!
You seem truly interested in BTS so I thought I'd recommend a book to you. There is an excellent book written by Youngdae Kim that breaks down BTS' music through reviews and critiques, thereby highlighting how different and special BTS truly are. Kim Youngdae Kim is a music critic and an author, who serves as a member of the Selection Committee for Korean Music Awards(SK's closest to the Grammys). Kim studied business administration at Yonsei University in Korea and completed a Ph.D program in ethnomusicology at the University of Washington. Born and raised in South Korea, he moved to Seattle in 2007 where he has been closely observing American pop music trends and the development of K-pop for over a decade. This man has a keen understanding of BTS' musical journey. It is quite the read, but worth it if you are interested in BTS' artistic journey and why they are standouts in the industry. I just work my way through the book slowly and watch lyric vids and MVs of the songs mentioned and have found it very interesting. Looking forward to your vid about your Santa Clara concert experience. 😊💜 www.amazon.com/BTS-Review-Comprehensive-Look-Music/dp/8925566060/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=bts+a+review&qid=1581165204&sr=8-1
As you’re going to the Bts concert I would recommend to start listening to their map of the soul persona album so that you’d know the songs and be able to sing/enjoy them more during the concert
BTS will come into your life at the perfect time, when you need them. And after that, you will never be able to leave them. It happens to me and i am so so grateful for that time😍
I already watched the video for how many times now but it has the same impact on me. I cried a lot while watching your reaction and by hearing your reaction about them. I saw them grow as an artist. Being an ARMY is never easy. You often get hate for being one especially at the time when they first debuted. You often face xenophobics and other people who want to degrade BTS. But, what is the best part of being an ARMY is that I know that BTS is not the same with other groups. They changed your views in life through their songs. They save me from the darkness that I'm in, 7 years ago. And I am thankful for their existence because they are one of the reasons for whoever I am today. I may be an ARMY for 7 years but everything still feels new to me and that's their impact.
I think BTS suits your taste because from what i observed from you you love the mental stimulation that you get from watching their MVs and knowing their lyrics.
You're one of the best reactors of BTS! Given that they are holistic artists and philanthropists it takes one to look into the social, cultural and universal themes of their artistry. Thanks for your thoughts on BTS!
For me the most important contribution was experience the music in so many levels, mentally, emotionally, artistically ... They made a whole support network for people with the same mindset, they make music for this people , no the ones who judges them without knowing, of course there are crazy "fans", that join just because they are handsome or other superficial reasons... But the core, the real ARMY knows the importance of this journey and even when other people say mean things because we like BTS and what they do, we keep growing and healing. That's what a coherent powerful and well delivered positive message can do.
like many of your viewers I too enjoy your reactions - you take the time to unpack things, you ask critical questions & you aren't afraid to call out your own ie: western music/artists when relevant - in turn you inspire me to do the same... pretty kool!!!
The dumbed down music is why i don’t like listening to American pop music today... also a funny bts video that you should watch is bts funny encore moments 1 and 2 also I’m newer to your channel and I absolutely love your reactions! Welcome to the rabbit hole known as bts!
OH MY GOSH SAME! I’m 50 and got so tired of US pop music soooo long ago. I got into Kpop in late 2011, and after that I hardly listened to anything on the radio. I felt like it was insipid, over-simplified, and over-sexualized. I wanted content, meaning, intelligent music composition, something truly hummable/singable, something uplifting, even if it’s only lifting a mood. Then BTS showed up and everything I was getting from Kpop I was suddenly getting in SPADES.
@@LillianOglethorpe I’m 48 and until BTS I only listened to NEWS radio. Today’s western music is terrible. I don’t want to hear about sex, drugs, crime. Not only BTS, but K-Pop in general is a breath of fresh air. However, IMO BTS is the BEST!
Susan Grayson PRECISELY!!! I agree 1,000% Today it’s either local talk radio or Kpop. And BTS is my ultimate group and the only one I stan. (I don’t have time to stan more than one, and doing Adult stuff gets in the way of stanning BTS as much as I want to.) I didn’t bother to watch the Super Bowl or halftime show this year, and tbh I’m glad I don’t have that burned into my brain based on what I heard. ‘Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD,’ first of all. But mostly I can’t sort out how women want to be taken seriously and not objectified and demeaned, yet perform or support a performance that does exactly that. Okay, enough of the soapbox. I’m just so glad that we have such a wonderful alternative.
Sarah'sDream that’s exactly what I say. I’m 48 years old and it took me a year to learn BTS’ names and faces. I don’t have time to learn anyone else! I do LOVE other group’s music. I just can’t be a ultra Stan for anyone else.
Definitely react to Paradise it's really an amazing song! I also think we can officially welcome down the rabbit hole that is BTS there's no way out from here! Soon you'll be getting into the craziness that is the storyline that runs throughout the videos! 💜
This is why I love my Biggest & world wide known B* T* S*, hard work, humble, talented and their music/lyric with concept/kept its original n intention with great messages in their songs for people who hear their music/song
Recommendation for Patreon: Bon Voyage Episodes. They have 4 seasons already. It is like the boys travel show where they go on vacation and do fun and friendship activities.
DT PARKER, I doubt you'll see my comment but i really wanted to say -you totally gained me as a follower. I am so happy that you are not a superficial reactor that does it all just for the views. It is so good watching you diving deep into BTS, not only scratching the surface. I also really like your way of thinking. When you pointed out Caesar's "divide and conquer" strategy referring to BTS struggles with the industry, i immediately hit the subscribe button (thinking - this guy is AWAKE - just like us). BTS is 10000000000 times more than people think of them. I am extremely frustrated when media and people around don't give them their due. You already have a platform for that, i really appreciate the reactions to explanation videos, in this way people who weren't aware of the deeper meanings are learning about them. I hope your parents watch all your reactions because they will understand you better in this way, and be proud of you also. They even might gain something for themselves. In my soon 30 BTS gave me a new perspective on life and myself. Also, they gave me motivation, hope and inner peace. My daughter is 2.5 and she adores them but i can't wait to be able to talk about the deeper meanings with her. I wish everyone would dive into BTS. The world would definitely be a better place! Ps: excuse my English. I am from Eastern Europe (Moldova).
I feel like most reaction channels are using bts to get more followers, so it's nice to find someone who seem genuinely interested in the art bts makes, and their message
They were also on an episode of Running Man - a Korean variety show that is now streaming on Netflix. I can't remember which episode it was, but I love to re-watch it just to laugh my a** off! I know you're going to love Run BTS as well. But, as others have suggested, perhaps Bon Voyage might be more manageable to start with since there is only four seasons and Run BTS is up to, like, Season 6, episode 93. I, too, love watching your thoughtful and appreciative reactions to the boys and their music. They truly are special. Thank you💜.
DT PARKER THANKS FOR REACTING ALL BTS MUSIC AND OTHER. NOT ONLY YOU AMAZED TO WHAT THE SEVEN BOYS BTS AND BIGHIT HAVE ..IM A MUSIC LOVER ... I LIKE LISTENING IN ANY MUSIC THAT GOOD TO MY EARS. BUT WHEN I START LISTENING BTS MUSIC IM BECOME INTERESTED TO THEIR LYRICS THEIR PERFORMANCE TO THEIR DANCE EVERY TIME TO LOOK AT THAT FULL OF EXCITEMENT ... GREAT PERFORMER ...
Thank you so much XCeleste for your videos! You made it easier for us to understand BTS. We acknowledge your work XCeleste! Keep up the great research and great work. Thank you DT Parker for the reaction. #lovingBTS
They also produce a variety show called Go BTS. It is up to 94 episodes. They play games and go to interesting places. You also learn a lot of culture and, of course, get to know the guys. Additionally, they produce a show of their travels called "Bon Voyage." Each program is 8 sessions long. They have gone to Finland, Hawaii, Malta, and New Zealand. You can watch them in Weverse and You Tube. The Malta version is not available at the moment. Both these shows really highlight their humor and their sentimental side as they have "missions" given by the staff that stretch them. You should check them out!
The members f BTS have such a positive influence ,especially on their fan base, ARMY, that I have read of fans planting forests in honor of RM, and donating blood because Jimin did.Among other things. I wish someone would put together a video of those things too. They are a Gift. And I for one appreciate and admire them so much.
Sir, you're super thoughtful and completely understand the many reasons why ARMY love & support these 7 amazingly talented dork! 😭👍💙 Not a lot of reactors have these meaningful conversations that delve deeper and connect with the overall message of BTS. Yes, they really make us think and become more interested in the arts, literature, various subjects like psychology etc. Aliens huh? Why do you think Bangtan Universe exists...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
12:48..Your comments...TRUTH!! Absolutely agree! The first video I watched was Jimin's Serendipity. The amount of symbolism I had searched out... never done that for a song before. lol Totally love your reactions, as close to how I felt myself! Love from London CA 💜
Bro, this is why I stan Hitman Bang. He is a hero. For deciding to change the music industry and not giving up on that goal. For taking care of his artists. For wanting artists who LOVE MUSIC. For taking care of the fans and treating us respectfully. For having the courage to stand for healing in the midst of a world that is overly competitive and destructive. ✊ And BTS really launched this and made the dream a reality with their talents, gifts, and beautiful willingness to commit 1000%.
A roller coaster ride with bts...my only regret is i wish ive known them earlier.. but its not too late..they wer there when i needed them most..so mch inspiration from them..
I'm glad that you'll be reacting to the Run episodes. You'd get to witness their level of crakedheads is very high😂, you'll also get to have a glimpse on teamwork and how they "fight" over a $20dollar gift certificate😂😂😂. They are very humble, one of the things we love about them.
THANK YOU! Music nowadays is being dumbed down. Arts are being dumbed down. Gosh, dare I say education and appreciation is steadily deteriorating. I am thankful for these man (Bighit family) for teaching us again, even simple things now taken for granted like social etiquette and manners. Simple like saying Sir, Mr, bowing (please and thank you) and simply the proper way of holding a wine glass all while fighting for injustices. No sugar coated K-pop with Bighit family. It really warms my heart.
*please react to Bon Voyage (BTS serie) starting from season 1 on Patreon. You ca react to it along with RUN BTS because the latter is really too long and still airing with* *more than 90 episodes while BON VOYAGE has 4 seasons with 8 episodes each and it's about BTS treaveling around and having fun together, please react to both shows*
I love them because they are humans with great personalities and a warm heart. And they're all very good and talented artists with important messages in every song. That's why I love them so much. Western world is superficial in a lot of ways and things. Greets from Germany.
It's great that you are learning about BTS this way. But I would love for you to get to know them individually and how wonderful their personalities are! You should definitely react to BTS Run episodes and concert ments more
They make us think, that’s so important! They have 7 ppl giving ideas, so it’s a bit easier to work on new stuff since it’s more than one head thinking. They have gone through times when they thought it was too much or too hard, but they stuck together. You should watch their 2018 festa and the army dreaded 2018 mama artist of the year acceptance speech (the day all of army around the globe cried) they talk a lot about that time, which is just now being turned into songs. You should check out RM’s vlives for each album, he goes deep into the process for making the album and a lot into writing the lyrics, since he does most of them.

just one thing...please do react to cypher series...i know you will love it.. :)
Thank you and God Bless
I purple you
I met BTS by accident too. When my life broke down now im an ARMY for almost 3 years and i loved every second of it!
at 8:22 you were pausing and missing out the important fact that BTS recorded their "Dark & Wild" album in a garage (instead of a studio) 😭😭
Aaaargh, that one got me too! Especially because Dark & Wild is my favorite BTS album. 💜
@@LillianOglethorpe hello fellow dark and wild enthusiast!!!!
E Grace Yay, another one?!? I’m hopeless for it. Utterly hopeless. 💜
i'm glad you stumbled upon it. you're one of the most open-minded guy out here and really delved into who they are rather than sticking to a preconception of what a boyband is. thank you. 💜
PARADISE is a beautiful song, one of the first BTS ones I feel in love with.
You will have lot of fun watching Run BTS and do watch Bon Voyage as well.
Plz react these clips in order u'll be surprised w/ Rap line members :)
- BTS HARDSHIPS
- BTS Cypher1,2,3,4 with lyrics
- BTS Cypher Medley live perform (1+2+3+4)
“BTS is the real artist......”
Your review/comments are great and you are becoming my favorite reactor when about BTS. Your are smart and have a thoughtful opinion. Always waiting your next reaction to BTS.
If you start reacting to their songs without mv's hope you react to BTS CYPHER 1-4 lyrics video 🔥✨ thanks!
Definitely it's a must!!
And paradise lyrics, 2!3! Lyrics, tomorrow lyrics and sea lyrics this song is about issues, mental health ,dreams.
Map Of The Soul 7 Album pre sales already crossed 4 Million copies.. 😅 They breaking their own record.
I have learned many things from them as simply as watched their mv, variety shows, DVD concerts makes me know and still learn other languages than my daily language.
This is one of the most detailed and best reaction Ive ever seen. Thank you for giving BTS lots of praises and respect. We appreciate it.
he is so sweet and cute 💜🙆😄, his REACTION is the best.👍 keep going.
Though tbh even a lot of those do have a deeper meaning as well haha That's just BTS life for you
The legendary Run BTS.. 6 more and it will reach its 100th episode.. there’s also Bon Voyage (4 seasons)..
Have fun~
Oh btw, i know you haven't seen all their mv's but i'd suggest you to watch xceleste's "bts storyline summary + explanation" video already? so you can get an idea of what goes on in their mv's hhh it's the most... mindblowing! thing you'll see.
These dinners get so introspective and so very personal that it is uncanny the things they reveal about themselves to the fans and the public. here is the link for the 2019 one:

here is the link for the 2018 one:

I also hope he reacts to this too.
I'm glad you decided to do a (big) journey with BTS, I always enjoy to see your reaction from the beginning. Sadly I can't effort to be your patreon, but I'll look forward to your UA-cam channel of BTS. Keep the good work!
I can't wait to see you react to the UN speech! You're going to love it so much!💜
RM and J-Hope are now full members
Thanks for the reaction! Black swan dance practice next would be great!

Hey! just wanna let you know that the dance practice of black swan is out now :)
Run Bts has already 94 episodes as of the moment
But that show from their Vlive is sooooo funny
I love all of their episodes
Me, too, i am so happy i found their music 😭
Their lyrics are so deep and thought provoking, that I started reading and researching again. Wow, gotta thank them for that.
I can never watch this video without getting emotional. They never cease to amaze and humble me.
I SCREAMED OMGGG FINALLY YOURE REACTING TO THIS
FYI there's like a kazillion Run BTS episodes lmao but they are sooooo hilarious! 😬
I think BTS suits your taste because from what i observed from you you love the mental stimulation that you get from watching their MVs and knowing their lyrics.
I love your opinions, and you’re opening my eyes to more reasons why I love BTS! Thanks
Mr Parker began to truly recognize and appreciate BTS. It is a great pleasure watching you becoming one of us, every day., Fam!
You're one of the best reactors of BTS! Given that they are holistic artists and philanthropists it takes one to look into the social, cultural and universal themes of their artistry. Thanks for your thoughts on BTS!
You are now my fave reactor of BTS.
Thank you for your real and genuine reactions. 💜💜💜
(I don’t have time to stan more than one, and doing Adult stuff gets in the way of stanning BTS as much as I want to.)
I didn’t bother to watch the Super Bowl or halftime show this year, and tbh I’m glad I don’t have that burned into my brain based on what I heard.
Susan Grayson If we were able to do it for more than one, it probably wouldn’t be called stanning any more. 🤷🏻♀️
The story on how I fell on the rabbit hole. I can't for the reactor to watch a live bts concert 😁
Yesss...please react to RM's speech and I'm sure you'll be amazed by his ability of speaking! He wrote his own script and that's so RM.
I love your videos!!💜
Bts proves that no need sexy babe in their mv and music. The lyrics itself already sexy enough to attract audience.
Honestly, you're the best commentator who reacts to bts on youtube I've ever seen so far. respectable fella army bruh.
Yes please to the speech...waiting for it😇💜
Watching your vids is my habit from now on
👍👍 love your reaction
The amount of symbolism I had searched out... never done that for a song before. lol
Totally love your reactions, as close to how I felt myself!
Love from London CA 💜
The way u reacted to bts i just love it.. So please keep on continuing to react .
welcome to the rabbit hole😅 you'll be watching some funny, hilarious, comedic, crazy, sad, savage, genius, childish, creative moments of bts soon..
Thanks for another great reaction..I really really enjoy watching all of your BTS videos. 💜💜
Accually RM & J-Hope also got promoted as full members in the last 2 weeks
Thank you Parker for wonderful words for our boys 💜
Bro, this is why I stan Hitman Bang. He is a hero. For deciding to change the music industry and not giving up on that goal. For taking care of his artists. For wanting artists who LOVE MUSIC. For taking care of the fans and treating us respectfully. For having the courage to stand for healing in the midst of a world that is overly competitive and destructive. ✊ And BTS really launched this and made the dream a reality with their talents, gifts, and beautiful willingness to commit 1000%.
13:05 ! you are a great reactor DT ! i love your thought, you are not reacting this for fun but you really learning about them ! thank you
Thank you for your reactions 💜💜 every time I watch your videos they make me smile.
Wow. You're absolutely right about BTS!
A roller coaster ride with bts...my only regret is i wish ive known them earlier.. but its not too late..they wer there when i needed them most..so mch inspiration from them..
Im always emotional when i see them..they always help others without bribe
Hi it is good to have you in our lifes, it is fun to watch you!
Glad you react to it 💜
I can't wait for you react to RM speech in UN 😊
BTS are the Angels of the music industry right now and will be for a long time!
