Diabetic you can eat anything you do in moderation just taste don't over do when you sugar drop it's sweets you take to bring it back ,milk ,orange juice or a piece of candy or you ate something
It's very sad that she's gone but she shouldn't be testing cakes that day or anytime. She should be guarding her glucose level as she said. I'm diabetic and HPtensive and so I prepared every bit of my meals. I use vegetables along with coconut milk to make smoothies. Not even the coconut powder I use.
My Mother is a diabetic, and very heavy in size also. She eat's salad, vegetable's, ice cream, and loves watermelon. She loves fried calamari, smoked turkey w/ beans and everything in between. Basically, she eat's what she wants. We, her children and even grandchildren cannot control or micromanage what SHE chooses to eat. We love her, but we can only do so much. My prayers are for the departed and her family. 🙏🏼

Two weeks ago she came home from the hospital, the doctor had to amputate her right big toe. I would never encourage a diabetic to eat something he/she should not eat. For a diabetic, insulin spike can be a death sentence.
She controls her diabetes and she wears the patches now. She said she has been diabetic from she was a juvenile so has been managing her illness for many years. We don't know what happened resulting in her passing. Praying for the family, friends and extended family and friends. SIEP/RIEP Opal Harper Jackson gone too soon hun. Gone too soon sadly.
