In this video, we are discussing the first and last (final) appearances of GTA protagonists in GTA games! The game set times are different than their released years, so here we arranged them in chronological order.

In 2012, Rockstar released a video named "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Introduction".

This Introduction is an original 20-minute prologue video that highlights the action in the days before the story in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas begins. So chronologically, we can say it is CJ's first GTA appearance as it's an official release from Rockstar games (not in gameplay anyway).

Actually, it’s included in all packages of GTA San Andreas PS2 Special Edition in DVD format back in 2005. Also, CJ’s first appearance is actually on this prologue video just like you commented.

I always think LCS and VCS deserve a remaster too, making the 3D Universe story complete. I just can't believe how easy missions in LCS were after being tortured by GTA III.
And I wish these games were released on PC in the first place.
And GTA Advance, having those three games would finally bring us the entire 3D universe remastered. I can imagine it as "GTA Definitive Edition 2: The Hand-Held Collection"
LCS was pretty easy but VCS was fucking hard, love both of them.
To be honest if considering all of your wishes you want a remaster version of all shit. Every single gta game. Forget it. It will never happen.

Tommy Vercitti GTA Vice city ending hits the most. really it was most beautiful Ending for Any GTA. The music playing , Tommy and Ken hand in hand. And the last phrase "Ain't just beautiful". I always shed a Tear when i see that ending. I hope we get some reference of Tommy in GTA 6 and RIP Ray Liotta.❤

If Rockstar and Ray Liotta reached an agreement back when gta san andreas was developed, tommy's last appearance would've been in gta san andreas.
Still wondering what would the story with ken and tommy together would be in the las venturas missions.

With Tommy Vercetti as a full fledged character, being able to apear in person, the Las Venturas story arc would have been totally different. Ken and Tommy's "business relationship" woud probably still break before the game, but with Tommy being an enemy of Liberty city mafia on top of being a nationwide drug kingpin, thing coud be completely changed, and he coud have played a rolre in much larger parts of the story

Unfortunately at the time voice work for big name actors was hell for them. I remember Sam Jackson did an interview for SA and he did he did 1 days work, didn't get paid enough and got 1 copy of the game. Can't imagine what it was like for liotta being a main character.

Chronologically, the first time we met CJ is in the Introduction. I know it is a bit different but we see him there first, because that was before CJ was coming to LS. Btw, the video was super as always. I would like to see this on the side of the antagonists. Keep it up!

You do realize that those questions are answered by the lowest ranking employees at R* and not by the writers? I know first hand from the answers I got on GTAO bug report how clueless those guys are. Even the way that answer is written suggests that it's a "whatever you say" type of answer given in a rush just to get to the next question. If you look at the story everything suggests that it is Pete: different look, different voice, the character listed at "supplier" (not Vic) in the credits, Vic refusing to sell anymore drugs at the end of VCS, the last chance Vic gave Lance (which blew when he got Loise killed), etc.
I also saw Claude in GTA San Andreas while playing the race mission
Vic Vance was the one protagonist that I can't help but feel a little sorry for. Did everything he could and it was all in vain.
Why in GTA San Andreas catalina doesn't betrayed claude ?
Catalina needed someone to do her dirty work. May be she used Claude for that.

You forgot to mention Mike from GTA Advance which is in the 3D Universe as well. The game takes place in 2000 (one year before 3) his first appearance was him and his partner Vinnie planning to use their money to flee liberty but Vinnie “dies” in a car explosion with their money. His last appearance is when Mike finds out Vinnie faked his death and betrayed him which results in him killing Vinnie and fleeing Liberty City with the money
Fun fact for those who said that the person that died in the beginning of GTA Vice City is not Vic Vance because he's not bald let me tell you this. If you look at the beta version of GTA Vice City Stories you can see beta Vic Vance actually look like the one that died in the intro of GTA VC.

The questions on the R* sites are answered by the lamest employees they have - I know first hand after seeing the answers I got on GTAO bug reports. The best way to describe how clueless those people are is this: imagine someone telling Forest Gump that he has the IQ of one of those guys to which Forest would reply "I'm not a smart man, but I'm not that stupid."

I don't think that's Vic. It's probably their other brother, Pete. Vic was completely against selling anymore drugs and was done with Lance at the end of VCS (while they did leave town together in Lance's helicopter, Vic made it clear that his business with him was done when he left him behind when Loise died and when he chose to go for the helicopter gunship with Phil instead of Lance). With a moron like Lance left to arrange the deal it makes perfect sense for them to not have proper security.
The last time tommy is mentioned is in the special edition of gta san Andreas on the beginning dvd. Rosenberg tries to contact tommy on a payphone years after unfortunately tommy doesn't answer. I googled it and it says because of Rosenbergs coke addiction tommy sent Rosenberg to a rehab center and stopped talking to him. Remember this is the last time Tommy is mentioned he doesn't make an actual appearance though.

In one of heist missions of GTA5 , there is a callback/reference to Niko Bellic from GTA4, and a couple other characters . (I don’t remember the mission but it’s the heist where everyone is discussing their smallest and biggest scores)

Not sure if this is fact or not but, there's a trailer GTA San Andreas about this scene called "The Beginning" where we see CJ's time around Liberty City, he was also working with Joey Leone as a car repo just like gta v where as Franklin worked as Car repo, or something, but after the cutscene, we see a cutscene about some Ballas in a green Sabre drive-by over Beverly's home where Beverly was killed, Sweet and Kendl saw the mother dead and informed CJ about the death of his mother.

It's not canon. The online parent selection is literally not canon since you can have John Marston and Misty as your parents, despite the fact that John died decades before Misty was born.

in a movie (i dont know the name but i think its based of GTA III) claude got shot and he died idk if its canon, but if rockstar say's that he is alive the movie isn't canon probably (the movie is set in 2013)

Much as Victor and Toni have completely opposite profiles in their crossovers. It is contradictory for Victor to return to organized crime and for Toni to remain in Liberty City after his terrorist act. It seems that, in principle, they shouldn't actually be Protagonists; but they were selected later, without commitment. Just to cover holes and conveniences of the main GTA's.
I hope we will see Tommy in GTA 6… i would cry 😅

The story of Gta Liberty City Stories is from the year 1998 and the story of gta 3 is from 2001 it means Toni cipriani character of LCS was seen in the gta 3 missions , and Claude use to play in GTA 3 to take revenge from her Ex-GF named Catalina
