I have noticed how often Mr mind games O'Sullivan stares at Trump over the last few years, Judd has taken over as the worlds best player, I never get bored watching Judd play.
Any suggestions for snooker rules that really go in-depth for situations like when the yellow was placed in black spot, or when Ronnie missed the yellow and it became a free ball foul (for not leaving a clear full-ball shot back on yellow?) and then how the cue was placed on the green spot? or was it pushed by Trump to that position? Love these videos, but many times hard to figure out just by comments section alone. Would like a visual back-up on how/why rules are there if anyone knows a good reference. Thanks in advance!
Oh, and LOVE this channel! Have been able to learn much just by the subtitles and the community in comments. The way the channel operator provides context just by showing more of the before/after shots sets this channel apart.
@@JH-ji6cj When its spot is not available, the colour is placed in the highest available spot. If there is no free spot, it's placed as close as possible to its own spot (towards the top cushion). Yes, a Free Ball is called when the cue-ball is snookered after a foul. You can ask the offender to play again from the original position (by the green spot) or final position or play yourself from the final position. I posted several Tests about the official rules on my channel - Community tab if you are interested.
@@CesarMuroya thank you, I'll check your channel more thoroughly. Really appreciate the response, but your videos even more. Your editing makes all the difference.
12:00 where did he hit the cue ball? btw im really enjoying your picks of awesome frames! very informative for beginners players and enjoyable to watch at the same time!
9:17 - The most underrated part of Ronnie's game -- that he takes the right shot in the moment. I think most top players would have taken on the black, as it would have more easily put them on the last red. Ronnie took a shot that was both safer (and with his superior cue ball skill made it easy for him to get on the red). What other player would have taken on the pink? And perfectly ended up on the red?
15:46 Announcer: "the problem with striking the ball hard is, you don't know where the ball is going to go". Trump strikes the ball hard, can put lots of spin on the cue ball, but too often he gets poor results. I just don't see why people like his style.
Could anybody explain to me, why a free ball was called at 12:41? I would have expected that Ronnie O'Sullivan would have needed to repeat the shot from the initial position. If I am not mistaken, the refereee first called foul and a miss and then added "freeball". Thank you in advance.
Ronnie did a foul and a miss and trump had option to play a free ball or option to put the que ball back in that snooker position and made Ronnie to play again, so trump did not decide to play a free ball because no ball is potable at that time.
A free ball is called when someone leaves a snooker on after a foul. Trump was snookered on the yellow by a foul from Ronnie and could not hit the yellow full ball, that's why a free ball was called. The free ball rule prevents a situation where you can foul on purpose in order to have an advantage.
Its own spot was occupied, so it went to the highest spot available. If all spots are occupied, the colour is placed as near its own spot as possible (between the spot and black cushion).
Enjoyed the commentary...esply at the strt of the safety battle..!!

7:42 five reds above baulk. Weird.

What a player judd
now judd he change some gear.., it would be very hard even for ronnie to beat judd of the last season...
He is Ronnie champ Dad of snooker 👍
At 0:22, my mind was going "Oh, and that's a bad miss"
Why yellow culdnt be placed in blue spot? 1:04
When its own spot is occupied, the colour goes to the highest available spot.
00:31 referee call Ronnie o'sullilan
00:33 she said Ronnie O Sovillan
This felt like a chess game with a closed center and no queens. A positional battle with careful manoeuvering.
At 1.15, the next highest spot was the blue, am i losing it? Or is the rule the highest available spot?
When fans meet his Hero 🔥🔥
Why didn’t the ref put the yellow on the blue spot?
It goes to the highest value spot available.
@@CesarMuroya ohhhh okah, thanks
Y yellow had been put on the black spot as blue spot is also empty
Who won finally?
Ronnie
5:27 Everyone talks about Judd Trump's cueing, but this seems like an error that no other top player would make. 7:21 - same story.

But 5:42 is a foul you can’t touch the yellow from that angle
Yes, and it was called as a foul.
Currently trump is unstoppable even if either Ronnie or Neil Robertson,
😊
😍😍😍😍
Why did the yellow go to the black spot?
Its own spot was occupied, so it went to the highest spot available.
