Hey everyone! I apologize about the edit at 30:59 - I've rendered it a few times but it always seems to screw up here and I'm not sure why. But BESIDES that.........
I hope you guys enjoyed this guide! I've spent the past 2 1/2 months working hard on this one
! If you have still have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them here, or at:

I'm always available for anything and just want to thank you guys all for supporting as always
Awesome video - climbed 300 sr just watching your zero to hero and this is also seriously useful - thanks!
Also can't wait to see your 1v1 guide - kudos to you for going for that
Great video. You had some really informative tips that i didn't think about, like holding E for recall. Keep up the good work.
i know this is a year later and we are now in ow2 but this video has been the most helpful tracer tips I've ever seen. totally changed the way i think about playing the hero.
I learned two major things from this: You can hold E to recall (instead of just spamming it when slept/stunned) and holding jump to silence your fall impact.
This is EXACTLY what I needed, an entire guide. Thank you
Happy to help :)
Dibs the amount of effort that has been put in this video is absolutely insane. Litrally I honestly think this is legitimately the most descriptive well put informative guide I have ever seen on any hero let alone a tracer. Seriously great job dibs should be proud of yourself you're going to help a lot of people out :).
How can anyone dislike this lol? Its literally the perfect tracer guide. Wish it was longer!
Probably because it was a mediocre. No offence
@@hussmod You're mediocre. No offence
Watching this on 2022, still an amazing guide that holds up to overwatch 2! Thank you
This is still very useful for overwatch 2 for anyone thats watching! Helpful guide, thanks.
This is such an amazing and underrated Tracer guide! You definitely have earned a new subscriber! And I can't wait to see your subs increase even more 👍
Dude, this is such an amazing video. Thank you for making this!
Thank you so much for spending this much time on your video. I enjoyed watching and will use this information to improve.
Dude this was amazing advice, thank you!! I look forward to trying this game out and our Girl tracer today!
I’ve been trying to get better at overwatch in general. It’s crazy how they all of the top plates have very different channels. But this video is by far the best for education because you actually educate. I can tell you’re a master by how easily and organized your made learning tracer . Awesome work dude seriously
Massive thanks to that complete guide on Tracey! I even bookmarked this vid in my browser now as a daily input. Keep up the good work!
thank you so much for this video, subbed, you seriously deserve it
This is hands down the best Tracer guide I've ever seen. I can't wait for the 1v1 guide, I've been waiting for something like that on UA-cam for ages!
A thought, I'm not sure how accurate this is, because I haven't studied it from the enemies' perspective but if you melee right before you pulse, it cancels the Pulse voice line and can make pulse bombs more unexpected in some cases.
+Ah-Ha! Productions I think I'll be working on that 1v1 guide next, unless I start getting a lot of questions, then I might pop that top 5 question/mistakes guide first, but definitely they will be in the works!
But yes, you can melee before you pulse, but that delays your Pulse Bomb from coming out right as you Blink. You can actually Pulse Bomb riiiiiiiiight before you Blink for it to come out faster, but meleeing kinda slows that down cause you have to be in melee range for the hit to matter. It depends on what you're going for, but both work!
I would say for tanks, the blink->melee->pulse is better cause they're easier to stick (bigger), and you get that additional 30 damage from your melee. BUT, if you're going to stick a squishy, that melee doesn't matter anyway cause they're going to die from your Pulse Bomb, so it's just wasted effort in my opinion, and the squishier targets are usually harder to hit, so you want as much of the surprise aspect you can get to land them more consistently, if that makes sense.
@@Dibz Yeah that makes sense! Thanks for your input!
Broooo thanks for the video, you have given me some good tips, love your streams and videos
No problem +Anibal Rodriguez! Happy you enjoyed it.
Love the vid thanks for all the time u put into it, its really going to help me keep it up
What a great guide man! Holy shit! Thanks! Playing tracer is like playing a whole new game! What a complex hero! Especially for someone that only plays tanks and support.!
Thank you for a great video! I think sometimes I am one of them people that rush in without thinking too much, but with every character you should always try to look around and assess the situation, there have been many times where I went in and fed because I thought people were with me but they were not lol.
Thank you so so much for your effort on this video! This infinitely improved my gameplay and i can’t thank you enough🔥🙏
Happy that the video helped you on its own! GET THE DUBZ
Really great work, can really tell you put a lot of time and effort into making this guide. A lot has happened throughout the seasons in Overwatch so it's nice to see how some things are different and what has stayed the same. I can tell that this was a passion piece. Great job, Dibz.
Thanks +emaura :) Some of the same but lots of new things I learned over the past years! More passion projects to come.
Dibz, you were the first person I subscribed to for Overwatch content and you continue to be the reason I play and improve. Thanks man.
This is really heartwarming to hear
Thank you so much. Its one of best (maybe only one) detailed guides to tracer! Thanks for your work ❤️
Thank you so much! recently be getting back into overwatch and this is really helpfull!
Amazing guide, thank you Dibz ! you are the best ♥
NO YOU
Phenomenal video man.
just got back in to overwatch and you've been a big help! ty ^_^
Thank you bro. this is perfect tracer guide. from japan with love.
Holy cow! Great guide. Massive props on time stamping. Very helpful indeed.
Thanks man! Hope this helps even if you don't play a lot of Tracer.....yet :)
Late on this but I still learned a lot thank you for being super detailed about everything it’s very much appreciated. I’ve played tracer a few times but never tried learning her seriously till now.
Watched few other guides before this and this is by far the best.
Great guide :) Have subbed for future info.
Excellent, well thought out guide. First video I've seen from you and I will definitely be back. Made me want to play some Tracer now tbh (I'm an Ashe main).
Great guide! I've always wanted to improve as tracer, but the only guides I could find were either beginner ones or really, really bad ones. Thanks a lot!
Already 2 huge tips...counting 3 seconds on recall to use it as a surprise flank, then pulse bombing next to the grav to affect everyone and prevent body blocking the pulse damage 😮😮😮
As someone who's just trying to get into Tracer this was extremely helpful. Thank you. 😊
It took me a while to get around to seeing this. Great job and good info!
This is an awesome guide! Excited to apply this into my own Tracer gameplay! :D :D
Enjoy! Hope you can see improvement soon :D Feel free to always ask if you have any questions!
Damn. That taught me a whole bunch! Very well done! Kudos!
hey Dibz, i just want to say that this guide has helped me alot.
OMG! YT has not served you up in months and months! stoked I have re-found you!!!
Wow actually amazing video covered literally everything about tracer, amazing work man Would kill to have you as a tracer coach!
wait this is actually so good and helpful wtf, great stuff
amazing video so underrated
absolute banger of a guide, thanks
Regardless of how with new overwatch 2 changes the character, most of this guide still applies to everything that i do, so thanks for making this guide, helps alot.
That's a lot of work!! Great guide :)
Thx for the Guide bro☝🏼
I did not realise how long the video was until minute 29! It's that good! Thank you for making this video 🤩
How did I miss this video lmao thank you dibz for this huge video
even a year later, this really helps, thankyou
Really good advice, I used to be a master tracer main when dive was meta, but stop playing for like 15 seasons, so I needed this to remind me about tracer tips.
This was so useful and the fundamentals still work for overwatch 2
this was super helpful!
It's an old guide but here's MY tips for control schemes for tracer:
1 - Bind crouch and melee to your mouse side buttons. This allows you to blink with right click and melee with the side button. This also lets you spam crouch without moving your thumb from space bar
2 - Bind recall to shift. Recall is used MUCH more than bomb, and bomb should be hard to predict, meaning you should be blink bombing most of the time. Because of this Q for pulse isn't that big of an issue, what IS an issue is the time it takes for you to hit e from the d key. You will find yourself barely surviving more often if you use shift, since your finger is already there 90% of the time and the quarter second it takes for you to hit E from D is enough time for that cass/mcree to hit you again.
Thank you for this video! It's an amazing guide, I'm aiming to become a grandmaster tracer player so I'm definitely going to take your tips to heart.
how’s it going
Very well made!
Very well done! Thanks new to this game, and Tracer seems to be one of the hardest to play really well. But the most interesting gameplay for me :)
Best,
This is pretty amazing guide. Whenever i want to play Tracer i just want to go pew-pew fast. I understand we have to be live has much possible and be patient. I feel like the more i wait the team will complain DPS aren't doing anything.
I really cant imagine playing any game with a regular keyboard. if i play FPS games i always use my azeron keyboard. It comes with an analogstick for your thumb so i have effectively 4 fingers left to command other uses. For Owerwatch it may have too many buttons but that aint really a problem.
I really apriciate the Pulse-Bomb tipps! I felt i was pretty good with tracer but each time i got my ult it seemed to fail miserably most of the time.
Really well done
I never realized how much of this had become intuitive to me over time without being directly told to do it.
even after a single watch through my tracer gameplay has improved by a lot
very good guide and useful info
THANK U DIBZZZ
i love the way u describe the tiger position hahah i laugh so hard
This is THE Tracer 101 course. Always come back to it even after 100's of hours on Tracer.
Best tracer guide out there!
nicee vid bro🔥
awesome guide, going back to the game after 2 year hiatus, with your help, I can be good again
AMAZING!!
I couldn't find 1 educational tracer guide other than karqs 1 tip...
But then I found this. Great video 👍
Tracer mentality, pew pew pew, foams at mouth, super aggro, loopy from bouncing head off walls, pew pew pew!
Really good guide :)
Thank you :)
Nice video 👍

You would be an amazing teacher :)
Great vid
Super helpful for new players, i like to play genji :)
I FINALLY FOUND A TRACER PLAYER AND HE TEACHES?! Ever since I came back to this game and learned that we lost kabaji I didn’t know who I was gonna watch
thanks a lot
New sub .
Yay the guide!
WHOO HOO! Now onto the next one :)
My main character is tracer, and i still can't find a good strategy or good habits. This video gave me some good pointers and some in-depth information that has upped my game ten-fold! DEFINITELY LIKING!
thanks for that map
looking forward to the 1v1 guides so I can learn tracer better faster
Thanks +1sub
Very good video, Watched it all! One question, how do u get this skin with purple glasses? ^^
Thanks +AdrianFAM ! If you're talking about the one with the blue/pink glasses on top of her head, that's the comic book Tracer skin from the event. As far as I know, you can't get it anymore :( maybe they'll bring it back later though....hopefully!
Great guide, but the tiger “bam” on the screen had me dead 😂
Oops..... ;)
as a new tracer i find myself to learn very quick and easy i can adapt quick ive used most of the things ive learned here i will have to rewatch but this guide isnt bs if youre new and want to be better watch this guide im climbing with just tracer as an off pick to carry short fights shes insane learn her now dont be a soldier 1 trick for another 4 years
This guide is amazing and you helped me a lot🙏. Although I think my brein size pretty decent, my aim and mechanical skills suck. I can't kill even the easiest targets and I keep changing my settings. Any tips on improving these skills? I'm quite new on the channel
I'm glad the guide helped out a bit! If you're having trouble with aim and mechanical skills, the best thing for you to do is to figure out what sensitivity works for you - this takes time, effort, and a lot of testing for YOU as a player, since this is highly subjective. One way to figure this out is explained in my aiming guide:
ua-cam.com/video/AvF57L6ytZw/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Dibz
The important thing is to find a sensitivity that you're comfortable with, and then STICK with it. If you're constantly changing your sensitivity, your body won't build the muscle memory it needs to "fine tune" the aim and it'll hard to build that good aim over time. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask anything if you need :)
*me taking notes in class and forgetting everything during the actual test*
I Love Dibz
+Nix
Reactive Tracking actually means to an extend knowing enemies movement patterns and being able to predict them.
The blink aim training map turns me into genji when I do it sometimes! I have to go back to spawn each time!
Missed opportunity to call it Dibz tipz
