If you have a cat at home, you probably have one because you really want to touch it. However, most people don't really know where cats like to be touched. So, I want to tell you a little bit about cats favorite places. The most common place that cats enjoy touch is right around their neck and their face. They like to be scratched right here at their cheeks, under their chin, behind the ears and right at the neck like this.
Some cats also really enjoy having their tail head scratched right where their tail meets their spine. Things that cats don't generally like include scratching the belly although Fria doesn't mind it so much, but scratching the belly really not something most cats enjoy. Some cats are okay with you stroking them, but only a little bit. If you notice that your cat's tail starts to thrash when you're doing that, go back to scratching the head because that's again most cats favorites.
Most people know this but most cats really don't like it when you touch their legs. You can see Fria's giving her head again because she'd much rather I scratch her there than touch her paws and of course, make sure that if you are stroking a cat, stroke the correct way which is from head to tail. Not from tail to head. Cats don't enjoy that.
If you decide you want to do some massage then just move your fingers lightly in the areas that you know cats enjoy like the neck in little circles. That's how you can get started enjoying petting your cat without triggering them to be uncomfortable. - Навчання та стиль

My cat does too, but then after a certain point she tries to bite me, and I'm just like, DO YOU WANT TO BE PET ON YOUR STOMACH OR NOT?! I think it's just a comfort thing. If the cat is relaxed she'll roll over and let me pet her stomach, until she realizes what I'm actually doing and backs out. lol
My cat doesnt care when I scratch or touches its belly, its sort of rare for a normal average cat to not respond or not care. :-)

Pet a stray cat
@@zzyy09 A stray cat came to my home, i feed him, now he comes daily. He eats his food, then I give him some massage with massage machine (he loves it) then he goes under a wooden bed 🛏️ and he sleep alone in there. I love him 😻
I've noticed my cat loves when I smooth out the fur on his cheeks and neck then kinda "fluff" out the fur by scratching his jaw towards me. It also makes him look adorable

If you're not sure about where to pet your cat, just hold out the back of your hand, and the cat will use your hand to pet itself.
Yeah, usually(or all the time) it's their cheeks.
If you leave your hand scratching somewhere on your cat they'll often reposition themselves for you. They know what they want.

Thank you so much! Currently, I am sitting in my driveway, with a cat I don't even know circling me. It is very friendly, and loves me most out of all my family :). It seems it wants company or attention, but either way it is very calm. I am a dog person, and the only cat I ever knew properly liked to bite and was a bad cat. But this video showed me how to stroke her and she/he seems very happy :)

Nah it just got nerfed to only have a 25% chance of not being scratched.. if you want high chances feed you cat bleach or chocolate then it won't move or bite when stroking it!
Every cat is different, it's important to know that. My cat personally loves right behind her ears but my other cat loves tummy rubs. It's important to know your cat well 💕
I followed your directions and my cat loved it.
So i have a really rare cat shes Egyptian and she is gorgeous! She has emerald eyes. Anyway she LOVES having her paws rubbed. She will be laying on my stomach and ill be on my laptop and shell be watching videos with me and before i know it shes pawing at my hands wanting me to hold them. So ill hold her paws rub them and kiss them. then she will start purring really loud. she loves her belly being rubbed to and she loves her tail being rubbed and she LOVES kisses! if i'm outside she will start meowing cause i'm not around her. ive set up cameras in my house so i can check on her if i'm gone. I have 7 set up so i can see her most of the time. anyway she meows all day if i'm gone and when i get home she comes running at me meowing and she rubs her lil head against my legs and then ill change into some comfortable and go lay on the couch with a blanket and she will come running in there and hop up on my stomach and lay in my lap and ill pull the covers up to her neck and shell hold her lil paws out for me to hold! its like the best thing ever!!! its so cute

Same, my ones a kitten. She's an Egyptian Mau, one of the rarest cat breeds in the world. Egyptian Maus are also the fastest cat breed in the world. She's really adorable, and she loves cuddling with me. She comes to me while I'm on the laptop and just sleeps right next to the laptop.

My Siamese loves his paws touched. I itch in between his toes and he spreads them. Also, when he bites/ cleans his rear toenails he loves it when I hold his leg for him so he doesn’t have to work so hard to hold it up. He is a weirdo. Just like his momma. He comes from anywhere in the house when I call him, greets me at the door when I arrive home and does sit ups when he’s excited to see me. He sleeps under the covers with me at night and if he leaves and can’t get back in he paws at my shoulder until I lift the blankets up for him. He speaks when spoken to and his favorite game is running to the bathroom door while I hold it closed just enough so he can’t push it open, telling him he’s too crazy to come in. Then I open the door quickly yelling, “You’re too CRAZYYYYYYYYY!!!” and he runs away with his ears back in crazy cat mode while I pretend to chase him. Then I run back to the bathroom and he comes back to the door, trying to push it in. We repeat this over and over. He never tires of it. He’s such a goon. I love him so much and he’s my best friend.

I don’t have a cat but I want and and my friends cat will literally roll onto her back to have her stomach scratched. When I do that she paws at my arm and always has to have her back legs touching my arm. It’s so cute.
I love how all these cat petting videos say don't pet the belly yet 9/10 cats I know love belly rubs and will do anything to get them.

1. Is her cat in heat? Because my cat did that when she was in heat.
2. I’ve done all these steps because I feel like my cat is very affectionate but I only stroked her and now every time I say her name her tail Swift’s. Even if I annoy her she still moves her tail. Which would make sense but still. Dose this happen to any of you guys?

Not all cats like to be pet the same way. Some cats love "full head" strokes and some don't. My cat makes me do it to him when I hold my hand out
