- Skyview's Beagles located in Clarksburg WV. We are a small kennel dedicated to just producing rabbit dogs for pleasure running, rabbit hunting & Trialing. Most of all to have a good time with the dogs.

I am from North Carolina and I must say that it's one hello of a rabbit dog. She is not flashy and have drive and pretty good line control. Very nice dog you have there.
Kind of funny you posted on that video. We ran there yesterday with a pack of dogs only the ground was frozen from rain ice and snow. Temp was 20. Results were about the same.. @@mcardery2k I am very impressed about EZ. I am 59 and I don't rabbit hurt anymore. By one thing I do know is the rabbit hunt game and that's a real rabbit dog. I lot of people depends on a pack of dogs to do what EZ is doing by herself.
@@ronaldsutton4694 All of our dogs have to jump and solo their own rabbit. We spend a lot of time one on one with our dogs.

People see things differently. I know what a quality hound she is and I appreciate you guys watching. I just post them hoping you guys will be entertained by the videos. It's OK that some don't like them. I love the mouth on her & just figure he has not been exposed to dogs with nose.

@@josephdangelo2410 I really am glad you enjoy but everybody has different opinions and I try to respect that. I just appreciate the people who do enjoy and support these dogs. It's also OK it others don't like them.
I was reading down below and the comment about unproductive yapping,. dont think this individual has been around hounds to long. She had a beautiful run on this rabbit.

Mark, thats a good dog. she is 100 per cent beagle. Hang onto that dog . I wish I could hunt with her.
EZ was born at my house out of my Walker and Jen. She will never leave my place.

Mark, what a solid hound she is. I love her style and her speed. We just got back into beagling three years ago after having stopped in the late 80's when I went into the service. Just a few weeks ago I bought a nice light little video camera and now I don't even take a gun. I let everyone else shoot and I get it on camera. I think I'm having more fun wth the camera than I did with the gun. I've posted a couple videos but haven't any near as nice as yours yet. I'm gonna subscribe to your channel so I can follow your adventures.
The camera is way more fun than the pistols. It gets really addictive plus you can make a lot of fun of your buddies. Enjoy Mark.~

I see that a lot time has been spent in your dogs because it takes a whole lot of time to make a pack of dogs to like that. People think dogs are made like that over night. Not only that it is a must to have a place to break dogs and time spent in them.
I got my OWN TECHNIQUES...EITHER HAVE OR DONT.. I GAVE AWAWY MORE DAWGS THAN YALL OWNED....WITH REGRETS ,BUT WHEN YA GO 50 HEAD OF DAWGS.. TIME IS OF THE ECCENCES.... BCUZ I HAD WO THAT WHERE CHOMPIN @ THE BIT....
The only time they bark is when they smell rabbit. The biggest reason for the collars is for tracking. I have never shocked EZ.
when not in use of hunting do your dog's wear shock collars to keep barking to a minimum?
Gavin Lewis they wear the collars because they are also tracking collars. We like to know cwhere they are and what they are doing at all times.

that is what I need a dog which can run solo. the only problem is cost. When I first started rabbit hunting I got a good deal, I got a champion rabbit dog puppy at half price because the owner believed it would grow over 15inch. It did grow to be just shy of 15inch. And she could run a rabbit all day, made very few errors.
You should be able to buy any quality puppy for $200 bucks. $300 at most. Every dog we own has to be able to jump and solo their own rabbit. That is not to much to ask.

I am not going to win any awards for my shooting. Yes she has a lot of Jen's ability and a lot of Walker's brains. I don't think there will ever be another dog that can run a rabbit the way Jen could but EZ is such a good handling and a copy of Walker. I would not take a million dollars for her. Walker has always been my favorite dog but EZ is the one that will replace him.

I picked her up off the rabbit. I need to look on the camera and see how long the run was. Just checked the camera..... Ez jumped the rabbit at 2:20 and I picked her up at 4:25 off the rabbit. If I had not looked I would have said she ran the rabbit over 3 hours. It seemed like forever.
oh okay.... I checks the time also im going to try a stopwatch & see what the running & down time is in a 2 hour run

I have a beagle runt named bella and she killed 3 foxes already I'm training her to hunting rabbits and come as command cause she tends to run off and case other stuff one time I let her out in my fenced backyard and killed my neighbor cat we had to pay 150$ the fine .
Nice one or two beagles that's when you see if you got a rabbit dog
We spend a ton of time soloing and bracing our dogs all summer. I think most dogs with talent can do it it the owner has the time like we do to put lots of running time on them. The biggest problem is guys work and have families and just can't put the time on the dogs.
Always hated to shoot a rabbit that ran that good and long. I did shoot them but also never cared if I missed them. Good little beagle you got there.
