Hi all, (PLEASE READ BELOW) Today (7/18), Free Spirit Tieria received a buff that gave her hp% damage on s3 and slightly increased her damage on s2. This has (annoyingly) impacted my runs because hp% damage contributes a lot to the damage done to banshee before she splits-- her s3 does about 60% more damage (from ~5k -> ~8k). I imagine most people using this team will have to address their builds. Let me know if you want a video, but I wasn't planning on making a new one otherwise. EDIT: Okay after much fiddling, I was able to get the team up and running again without having to touch Bellona's gear. The main issues were specifically for Tieria's damage output in 4man comps, and using Leo as the 4th member. Here is what I've changed: - You need to GUT Tieria's damage output. Like seriously, her damage needs to be way lower. My current Tieria's damage stats are: 2767 atk and 224% crit damage. To get this low, I had to change her cdam% necklace and atk% ring to an atk% necklace and eff% ring. Running 2x atk% made her do too much damage. Since most people probably don't have poorly enhanced atk% necklaces lying around, you can absolutely use a crit chance% neck and atk% ring instead. Just try your hardest to keep her cdamage low, and I mean below 250%. You want her s3 to do around 6-7k on the banshee queen. This low damage setup worked even with my 3man comp, but it NEEDS Lilka on a teamwide atk% artifact (I'm using the 5% atk one shown here). Tieria and Bellona still receive Lilka's imprint bonus. - Remove Leo for 4man comps. Leo used to be a better option for consistency since he could stun Mistychain and have multiple chances to proc defense break with Ms. Confile/Elegiac Candle. Unfortunately his elemental damage boost from attacking an ice unit and his chance to activate s1 after s2 make him do too much damage to a defense broken Banshee Queen after Tieria's now-high damage s3. I could get the comp to work with my low damage Tieria until Leo proc'd his extra s1, and then it would ruin the run when Bellona s2'd. - Use Shadow Rose instead. Although she is harder to get than Leo from covenant summons, she is cheaper to build needing no mola and providing self eff buff alongside an eff% EE and self imprint eff. Her EE doesn't matter, either. Her damage is so low that you're safe after Bellona s2s the boss-- make sure Rose has no weapon or atk% ring on, she doesn't contribute damage here, just an extra def break chance. She should be always slower than Tieria. Lilka doesn't need the atk% boosting artifact here anymore, but it also doesnt ruin the run if you keep it on. For people building this comp post buff, I want to stress to NOT mola Bellona's s2 unless necessary, and prioritize atk over cdamage when investing in Free Spirit Tieria's damage. In conclusion, the gear requirements for Tieria are STAGGERINGLY lower. As annoying as it is for me to regear and have this 2 month old video become outdated, it IS a solid step in accessibility for allowing people to clear b13 with even worse gear. I'll post a ss of my Tieria on my channel, soon.
Thanks, this was all really well thought out. With the new player rewards at the moment was able to do this on day 5. Ended up sticking with Leo, needed the extra Atk%. Using the mix of pre-leveled Pen and Crit Damage gear they are giving out right now on Bellona.
Dude, you just gave me the answer I needed to a 2-day long rage fest, shadow rose was the answer to my 4-man clear all along, leo was indeed always doing too much dmg, making bellona do too much (max mola'd bcus I am a simp for bellona) THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH

Yeah when I first saw Bellona was getting buffed I was worried it would impact her functionality, but since it was just a damage buff (as far as auto mode is concerned) it was VERY welcome news. I'm really happy to be able to share a really accessible, high clear rate, non-limited b13 one shot comp with everyone!
3man destruct working fine for me, luckily my Milka don't have any imprints so it helps alot to not cut the 70% threshold even with Tieria doing lots of damage.
for the 3 man team, i have put Achates with speed faster than tiera as a forth member, so if she gets miss debuffed, Achates will cleanse it in P2, making the run more reliable
@@hychoi1988 thats a good idea, although you are losing an extra chance to defense break the boss and are still prone to 15%. I think using a second defense breaker like Shadow Rose will net you a higher success rate even accounting for blind.
Thank you thank you thank you! I'm going with the 4-man comp with Leo because I don't have Shadow Rose. Watching my runs right now and the only times it fails are when neither defense break lands. Even if I get the defense break with Tieria and Leo does both attacks and crits on each one, it's still not too much damage and allows Bellona to get the kill, all with free gear from the Epic Dash event. You're a lifesaver!

That can be avoided by making Free Spirit Tieria faster than the wave 1 enemies, because she has an exclusive equipment that grants everyone but herself immunity!
bro...my belona literally leaves banshee with 100 hp, then when a enhance her boot she breaks de 75% hp bar, but somehow i did make shadow rose do the exactly dmg need to make banshee stay above of 75% hp, my god
The only bad thing about this team is that Tieria sometimes gets 15% by the boss :( I wish they would get rid of that mechanic in PVE (or better yet, entirely lol)
If you don't have Baiken yet, you can use the story summon feature to open up Bellona's banner and summon her that way! If you have Baiken already, then I wouldn't bother.

Yes I noted that in the video description and have provided suggestions for ameliorating this, which is already a low chance to cause a fail (20-30% chance to be targeted, 85% chance to land, 50% chance to actually miss). I didnt make this comp to have a 100% clear rate, I made it to have a very high clear rate with very low investment.
Wave 1 mobs have 0 effectiveness so you would need 100% ER on Tieria to always resist blind. If you want to go this route, I recommend using Strak's Gauntlet on Tieria for the free 60% ER is provides at +30!

But I have a question that I want to ask: Have you encountered a situation where Tieria was hit on face 1 and got debuff decreat hitchange and then on face 2 he was hit and missed and had no defense reduction. Do you have any suggestions for this case?
Glad its working for you! Yes unfortunately it is one of the fail conditions of the run that is hard to work around. Running a 4man comp helps a lot, as this gives another unit for the mistychain to target instead of Tieria. They also serve as a backup defense breaker in case Tieria misses or gets resisted, and are the lowest investment option that also greatly improves clear rate. Friendship farming also gives you a chance for Mistychain to target the extra unit. Besides that, you can do two things. One is equip Oath Key on Tieria. This doesn't neutralize the blind debuff but it makes the chance you miss much lower. The other option is build Tieria with 100% effect resistance. This way she'll always resist the blind, but obviously this requires better gear quality. Some artifacts provide effect resistance, especially strak gauntlet, so you can consider this if your crit/damage/speed/eff is enough. Personally I just accept the rare failure when I run 3 man and if I want to improve it I go for 4man, which takes a few seconds longer.
Thanks for the vid. What do you find your win rate at with the first team. (I took into account your comment about new tieria gear). Currently mine is running 75% wins with very fast runs… but my tieria is 115% eff and still misses def break losing the run too often. Is it possible to fix this or am I just getting 15%’d?
I'm not great with math to find a combined probability but here are the fail conditions for 3man that I haven't been able to work around without something like a challenging gear investment: -A 30% chance for Tieria to be targeted by Mistychain in a 3man comp which has a 85% chance to land blind which forces a 50% accuracy check that can make Tieria miss her s3 on the boss, and -A 15% chance to be resisted on her s3 defense break on the boss in wave 2. Unfortunately, you can't bypass the 15% absolute resistance chance so there isn't really anything you can do about that. You technically can give Tieria 100% eff res to always resist Mistychain's blind but it can be hard to build it cheaply, so I don't bother worrying about this. The best solution is running a 4man comp with Shadow Rose. This ameliorates the aforementioned problems in these ways: -Adding another unit decreases the chance Tieria gets blinded by Mistychain, and Tieria's s2 immunity protects Rose from getting blinded as well -Having another 100% chance to defense break with Shadow Rose greatly increases your chance of landing def break on the boss. You go from a 85% chance (factoring absolute resist) to 97.75% of landing defense break. 4man is much better from a consistency standpoint and is only marginally longer, time-wise. 3man I only really recommend if you want to friendship farm, in which case you just have to accept a lower clear rate for this specific team. Higher clear rate teams for b13 one shot exist, but at a substantially higher resource cost, and the point of this comp I made is to have a really reliable clear rate accessible for new players/low gear quality. I brought her down to 2767 atk and 224% cdamage and was able to stabilize everything again, for both 3man and 4man on destruction set. I also had to drop Leo, as he does too much damage and his extra s1 chance totally ruins the run. Swap your Tieria to a crit chance necklace + atk% ring, or an atk% neck + eff% ring, and try to keep her cdamage under 240. You want her s3 to do about ~6k to the banshee queen to be comfortably safe. Any more than that and it is hard to tune everyone elses damage around it. It was an annoying change because everyone will probably have to regear, but it did lower the entry point even further!
Ik that this vid has been up for a while, but hows the consistency? I've managed to setup the same team with adequate gear, but ive gotten 1-2 fails on 20 repeats before. I iust want to ask whats the issues that you might encounter to have these stray runs besides maybe both tiera shadow rose's def breaks not landing. edit: I found the culprit. It was gloomy rain from 1st wave, giving the blinded debuff to either tiera or rose, which hampered the damage/defbreaks from them. I just decided to awaken shadow rose to 3 to get the cr boost by 25% to allow bellona to move first regardless in the first wave. I just realized that there's also tiera's ee which gives immunity which was a dumb oversight. overall I think I got it running more consistently now. Thanks for the team idea.
@@Player-yY-ry6cm Yes! You can use Auxiliary Lots or Laika (the green version), although they are both rarer. To use either of them, though, you need them to be slower than Bellona but they NEED to kill wave 1 with their s3. That way, they will use s2 in wave 2 on Bellona to finish the boss. I have an earlier video in my channel using a comp with A.Lots you can use as a reference!
Tieria's gear requirements do not change between 3man and 4man comps, so I did not show her gear again. Please check the pinned comment to see the updated Tieria stats I use after she was buffed in July of this year!
@@spongebobcult7832 unfortunately, this game has a mechanic of absolute resistance at a 15% chance, so even if you have enough effectiveness, a skill with "100% chance" to land will really have a max of 85% chance, unless something specifies "ignore effect resistance." You dont need that much effectiveness, 65% is the most you need. After that, the stats are wasted.
I have the same set up as you but after my bellona does her first attack on the boss, the boss cuts and uses her ability. Is there a way to prevent this?
As the other commenter mentioned, you're doing too much damage. You have to make sure your team does no more than a combined 34,711 damage to the banshee queen before Bellona takes her 2nd turn to prevent the split. You can either try lowering Bellona's damage (which can be tricky to ensure you're still killing in wave 1 and finishing off the boss) or lowering Tieria's damage.
@@rodneyrogers1319 there is indeed a balancing act to b13 one shot that other hunt one shots do not care about because of the banshee queen's split mechanic. The biggest benchmark is doing no more than 70% of her health before Lilka takes her first turn. With Tieria's buff, her s3 does way more so its awkward to tune around her. If your Bellona is easily killing the mobs in wave 1, I recommend lowering Tieria's damage so her s3 does
Yes, Lilka always pushes the lowest CR unit so in this comp she always targets Bellona to let her take another turn and kill the boss before she splits!

You dont need any effectiveness or exclusive equipment on her! The EE i had from before b13 one shot and the effectiveness is just a byproduct/wasted stats

@@Player-yY-ry6cm Yes! You can use Auxiliary Lots or Laika (the green version), although they are both rarer. To use either of them, though, you need them to be slower than Bellona but they NEED to kill wave 1 with their s3. That way, they will use s2 in wave 2 on Bellona to finish the boss. I have an earlier video in my channel using a comp with A.Lots you can use as a reference!
4 main build light teria where?
Tieria's gear requirements do not change between 3man and 4man comps, so I did not show her gear again. Please check the pinned comment to see the updated Tieria stats I use after she was buffed in July of this year!
I have 180 effectivness on my tieria so why is it that sometimes she wont def break?( she does not get hit with the 50% less hit rate debuff)
@@spongebobcult7832 unfortunately, this game has a mechanic of absolute resistance at a 15% chance, so even if you have enough effectiveness, a skill with "100% chance" to land will really have a max of 85% chance, unless something specifies "ignore effect resistance." You dont need that much effectiveness, 65% is the most you need. After that, the stats are wasted.

I have the same set up as you but after my bellona does her first attack on the boss, the boss cuts and uses her ability. Is there a way to prevent this?
You’re doing too much damage. Below a certain % of hp, the banshee uses her ability
As the other commenter mentioned, you're doing too much damage. You have to make sure your team does no more than a combined 34,711 damage to the banshee queen before Bellona takes her 2nd turn to prevent the split. You can either try lowering Bellona's damage (which can be tricky to ensure you're still killing in wave 1 and finishing off the boss) or lowering Tieria's damage.
How precise do we have to be?? I feel like I’m single digit percentage of your stats and I’ll either too too much dmg or just shy 😭
@@rodneyrogers1319 there is indeed a balancing act to b13 one shot that other hunt one shots do not care about because of the banshee queen's split mechanic. The biggest benchmark is doing no more than 70% of her health before Lilka takes her first turn. With Tieria's buff, her s3 does way more so its awkward to tune around her. If your Bellona is easily killing the mobs in wave 1, I recommend lowering Tieria's damage so her s3 does

Yes, Lilka always pushes the lowest CR unit so in this comp she always targets Bellona to let her take another turn and kill the boss before she splits!
Idk why but my Tieria misses her decrease def so many times it's insane. Kinda like Furious in Wyvern. These units are rigged I'm telling you

@@Hijijiriri Could be haha 😂 It was the worst while I was testing Bellona's dmg because she can't have too little nor too much. And Tieria not landing her def break like 5 times in a row was exhausting 😂
@@-phgaming-1092 She has a 100% eff. I had the same issue with Furious in wyvern, something's not right with these units, at least for me
Is the effectiveness on bellona actually need it or was just a by product side effect of your gear?
You dont need any effectiveness or exclusive equipment on her! The EE i had from before b13 one shot and the effectiveness is just a byproduct/wasted stats

@@xuannhatnguyen9799 the only necessary artifact is Daydream Joker on Bellona, the other artifacts just provide free stats to make it a little easier to gear.
@@Hijijiriri so the problem on my 3 man team is my bellona has same start at you on destruction set and it cant clear the fisrt wave and when i add leo on there it clear but come into boss my bellona cause to much dame and it split any solution
