Alana is amazing. Been noting her from class 4, and she has progressed gradually over the years. But now bops ... she jacked it up this year and is now one of the nicest young sprinters on the planet. My girl is on a fine trajectory.
Her progression and motivation began when she won the Nacac u17 200m in 2021 that was what wetted her appetite, she did clocked some very fast times last season 11.22,11.30+ etc, albeit losing to our other phenomenons and then that World JR Bronze thats what did the THING coming into this season. We can expect a lot more execellent displays from this young athlete, her footballer (her dad is an x national representative) built body seems to relishes training.
@@Swanky723 The athlete who came last at Champs in 19 89, represented jamaica at the 1996 Olympics in the 100m finals, I'm suggesting that Michael Green ( that's name) should be asked by the Jaaa's to come give our athletes especially the JRs some motivational speech.😮
@@aizzensosuke737Nope we have muuuch faster girls, all the runners on those world records runs were still within the age limited age, the starter wouldve been at the games but she picked up an injury.
Big up my lil sisters. Congratulations 🎉 🇯🇲 for the win. I have to big up Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 too for second place. Didn't want the Bahamas to win anything, them too bad mine an salty.
Somebody kindly explain the round-off from 43.53 to 44.01 for the U20 girls 4x100m relay winning time? On what basis is that determined? There are some huge rounding-off differentials of times at this Carifta Games. I've never seen that before. How are the officials measuring a long jump event with eyesight and a measuring tape? This doesn't necessarily account for accuracy. Something isn't right here...🤔
@L G the rerun is for the MENS event and Jamaica does not need to take part.. we still have our gold medal. Why are you reading bits and pieces of the information. Stop trying to confuse people.
For real 43.54 rounded to 44.01 something definitely not right with those times the only time the time remains the same is when Bahamas win either it go up or remains the same and I'm saying it because something isn't right.

Bahamas altering the flash times when Jamaica wins a race. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are doing that.
