Does CBD Improve Mental Health?

- CBD is so hot right now. The compound is being added to everything from gummies to lattes, attached to claims about how it can improve health in any number of ways. But what do we really know about the validity of those claims? And what are we actually getting in consumer CBD products?

So they just need to add CBD to Trolli Bright Crawlers, in addition to whatever is in them that makes them so addictive. Problem solved.
My parents bought some CBD gummies for my girlfriend because she was stressed. However, she just saw a bag of gummies lying around and forgot they contained CBD, so she ate like 15 at once. She was very sleepy that day ;)
Cbd is a component of marijuana separate from delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol or THC
So you just need to make vat19 size gummies.
It helps me sleep. I haven't noticed any other effects, but my insomnia is from my depression, and the lack of sleep makes the depression worse. It's like CBD helps stop the spiral. It's one of the few things that lets me stay asleep for 8 hours.
Do you take CBD with THC? I’ve had depression for 30+ years now and have never really thought about addressing it until my wife left me a couple of months ago. The heartbreak is unbearable and I cannot sleep at night because my mind keeps running. What type of CBD do you take? I would appreciate any information thank you

Exactly. Anything the government is involved with should always be questioned.
I'd also like a longitudinal study to see if CBD could decrease anxiety and other symptoms over time, along side therapy or on it's own. If it decreases anxiety after you've done a task, it may help you learn that the anxiety inducing tasks aren't actually dangerous and lower the anxiety response over time.

I smoke/vape hemp flower and it’s changed my life and has healed my anxiety so much!
My anxiety disorder is as good as gone. Now sometimes I still worry about getting a panic attack, but then at the time where just thinking about it, normally starts the panic attack, it just fades away as anxiety is at zero.

What brand?
Unfortunately I changed two variables at the same time (vaping CBD, and switching to a calorie restricted, intermittent fasting keto diet). So I don't know which or what combination is responsible. But since those changes I have experienced a HUGE improvement in my anxiety level and mental clarity. Hell, it could even be a placebo effect, or some other unknown factor. i love this increase in the acceptance of studying less traditional drugs these days but yeah we've seem to have confounded safety with efficacy. it's the same sort of backlash we've gotten with regular cannabis where the dangers were widely exaggerated & as it becomes more accepted & we learn that its safer some people have taken that further than reasonable. it's understandable, especially with how much discrimination has accompanied those lies but it's important to remember that sometimes things are neither black or white but grey. thanks for the vid. much love.
here is the safety profile - Lethal dose 50 for cannabis is 50,000 to 1 ( LD50)
I appreciate your critical analysis on this topic, and in general, which is why I'm watching this channel. In regards to CBD, I'm fairly confident that there's something in commercial products beyond placebo. Actually, I'm surprised they didn't test commercially available doses and went for high doses. For one, I received CBD gummy from my friend and gave it to my partner who was in lots of stress at the time. I didn't tell her what the gummy was and did little to pursued her that it isn't an average gummy. Her anxiety quickly dropped and kept low for some time. This was the first time we tried CBD. We rarely drink alcohol, have daily coffee and nothing from other substances.
in clinical setting 600 mg CBD is the minimum dose for that testing ... anything less is considered placebo
My family member who has scizophrenia, disorganized/grandious type has definately benefited from the addition of cbd only canabis to his care team treatment plan. Approaching his mid 30"s It's helped greatly reducing his disorganized speech and thoughts, false beliefs and memory's, helped with the parkinsonian side effects of his medications and, helped him almost eliminate loose associations. Important to note he has no mood disorders, anxiety or paranoia issues with his form of schizophrenia. We work with our psychiatrist, pharmacisi and care team and include them in all decisions and at home keep a diary to monitor the affects. The addition of CBD has most certainly helped a great deal in his ongoing recovery
I've _assumed_ that the CBD I take for my panic disorder is a placebo. Placebos are awesome. Regardless, in my case it took me from nightly panic attacks that would last between 30 minutes and _all night_ in length; down to maybe one a month at bed time. And it reduced daytime panic attacks as well, though not as dramatically. This was probably life saving for me.
And safer than other solutions. Before CBD I was on an antidepressant - which worked ok but was unpleasant for a host of reasons, and before that Xanax, which worked but isn't good to be on long term. CBD has worked better by far than both of those. I don't know why, I don't care why. I might not be here today without it.
Maybe I can switch to something cheaper and get the same effect? Is there a way to do that and still gain the placebo effect as strongly?
Maybe research into other drugs/things that are new in research on the topic and just try it out for yourself. Many supplements/naturopathy medicines are poorly researched or often only mild effective but if you believe you are susceptible to the placebo effect, giving them a try may work
I've been on sertraline for years and its worked very well for me- definitely worth seeing a psychiatrist and trying a different class of meds, like an SSRI. When I started sertraline I went from severe anxiety w/ 5 panic attacks a week to baseline me. It was life changing.
the fun thing about the placebo effect is that in general the effect is as strong as you believe it will be. But I'm not certain if the effects are completely placebo.
Even if CBD didn't do a thing when I anxious for months straight. Except for helping me fall asleep, possiby.
If it's a placebo, you may as well switch to sugar pills. A lot cheaper. That's the weird/interesting thing about the placebo effect: as long as you think something will help, it does, even if you think it'll only help *because of the placebo effect.* Brains are weird like that. So go for the sugar pills -- just make sure you still believe in the power of placebos :D
CBD is metabolically active ... you may not know how it works or feel much from it but it is metabolizing in your body ... could take up to one month of continual use to see any effect from it ... generally, adding some THC into your CBD dose makes CBD around 75% more effective.. the metabolism of this occurs in your endocannabinoid system
This is the third time that I buy CBD oil from LeafBoutique Portugal for a very close relative who has been using the oil with success since May 2020 to keep anxiety at bay. This person was in very dark places before as medicines were not working. In May we tried to think outside the box and give CBD oil a try, with the psychiatrist's permission. The situation improved slowly but surely, and now life is much better.
It has helped my anxiety greatly, and motivation, so it's doing something, and I take 50 mg a day.
25mg prevents me from getting butterflies before and during public speaking and helps me stay asleep longer. I don't care what any study says because I'm that guy who is always trying things and being like "i don't feel anything". With CBD I am certain of these effects for me.
I cry at a drop of a hat. I’m highly sensitive. It’s very hard at time being overly emotional/ overwhelmed . I micro dose for the first time and I notice a video where I would usually cry and I didn’t. So I turned on a soldiers coming home videos(instant cry fest). Nothing. No placebo affect here. That’s was a miracle in my eyes.
Spoken by someone who has never suffered anxiety or panic attacks. Someone who would happily back synthetic drugs
A piece of anecdotal evidence: for a while (two months) CBD-lacerd oil served as a rather good anti-anxiety placebo for me. I stopped using it, and the effect (better sleep) remains after six months. Human mind is amazing and perplexing.
I have a severe anxiety disorder where it causes waves of burning electrical shocks to wave through my body in floods..... Doctors would never tell me what it was and never could help me get rid of it,, it was painful.. I tried CBD flower and immediately those things went away I still have anxiety but I don't have the pain associated with it..
Yes and I have a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury and I’ve had it for almost a decade and it completely eliminates the stress and anxiety of my injury and I will NEVER have connections in knowing anything about my accident, EVER! I was Comatose and in Rehabilitative Therapy for years and everything in UPMC and my Neurosurgeon was Dr. Okonkwo
so I'm 23 and have severe spinal nerve pain , aside from the strong opiates I take I have just started cbd
again after a long time. I vaporize some pretty potent cbd hash. does not kill my pain but it's definitely relaxing.
After many failed experiments with some other brands, I finally found this brand. Weedborn products are the best and I don't think I would ever need to look for another CBD supplier. I highly recommend for practically any health problem.

@alwayswrong I didn't comment CBD. My comment was about incredibly obvious spamming of the person /group of people who on every single video about any CBD oil write promo comments about their Weedborn products.

This helps my anxiety severely so glad I tried it
I occasionally dose at only 10mg of CBD and it noticeably decreases my anxiety . 15mg effective for occasional headaches
Which brand?
No mention that taking it long term is where the benefits come from. Taking lower doses for long periods allows the body to utilize the nutrient and return the body to homeostasis. Personally I take 150 mg over the course of the day. This makes my cost per day around $3...
In my experience the dosage of CBD has to be large in order to be effective. If you don’t buy it in it’s powered extract form then it is too expensive for many people. It does help with anxiety, inflammation, sleep for sure, but the dosage is likely 300mg a day at minimum. For good sleep I use about this much, with some reishi mushroom from real mushrooms, Apigenin, and occasionally use Ashwagandha( either KSM-66 or Sensoril is even better), along with l Theanine
Really? Most people find 30mg is fine for a dose against anxiety, actually vaping is a quicker way to deliver it into the system for panic attacks, otherwise 3 x 10mg gummies twice a day is sufficient, or an hour or more before going to bed for a good quality of sleep i.e. uninterrupted sleep meaning you feel refreshed when you wake up.
As to inflammation, I was surprised to hear from a customer who came to buy a bottle of 40% oil from our shop that she'd been finding relief with only 4 drops of a 20% oil (approx 40mg per dose) 3 times a day for rheumatoid arthritis with actual nodules on her hands.
Thanks for the heads up on reishi and Ashwaganda, I am still learning about the effects of these.
I have sciatica and take 70mg per day, it definitely helps with the inflammation, but hasn’t cured it.
However, it does seem to help my ADD, which is a nice bonus
20mg of CBD lets me fall asleep peacefully, whereas without CBD I lie there in an state of anxiety for hours before exhaustion makes me sleep. For me, CBD is a game changer and 20mg is enough. You don't need anywhere near 300mg to have a beneficial effect...
in clinical setting a therapeutic dose is 600mg and up ... like high dose aspirin prescribe from the doc, not off the shelves ETC..... not saying you need that much but for clinical use it is really high dosages used
I love how CBD helps me sleep. For me 40 mg helps me with the aches and pains from being on my feet for 10 hours a day.
I found that 20mg of gummies was enough to give me palpitations across multiple brands. 10mg was enough to have a calming effect on me, so I'm fortunate I seemingly don't require more expensive doses.
placebo or not shit works for me. it helps me mainly with anxiety and occasionally sleep if i use enough. people shouldn’t be upset if it’s a placebo if it actually ends up helping you.
Well, I tried three types of gummies. They did nothing to me. I tried th water soluble in the morning coffee and it keeps me calm. I use the oil tincture at night and it helps me sleep 7 hours. I am using Sunmed. Expensive, but overall I am seeing that it takes the edge off my anxiety

While I am a CBD fan and have experienced some improvement in acute anxiety symptoms, we know that personal anecdotal experience is the least defensible data. I believe you have over generalized your statements here. There is actually very little to no “quality” research (including the one you mentioned around public speaking which had a pitiful sample size). Many “studies” get published but as a person of science, we must critically examine the methodology of the research. Much larger studies need to be done around CBD. Having said that, the evidence around cbd and epilepsy has been sound. We need to be cautionary as professionals not to buy into the “snake oil” effect and avoid catchy research headlines. As you probably know, real science isn’t as sexy as a these “initial research” articles. Thanks for posting this. Lets keep the convo going :)

People are weird about CBD, they'll defend it like they're the ones selling the stuff. Even the trials for seizure control aren't super robust, but better than the ones on anxiety.
People get invested when they are desperate for an affordable intervention for whatever symptoms they have, and they accurately perceive that the forces against this particular intervention aren't actually against it because it's ineffective, but because they disapprove.
I'm not even saying it makes CBD a valid intervention. Like you say there's a lot of issues with some of the studies out there, the majority of them even.
But that particular investment is what motivates a lot of the responsively high-level of identity investment by those who are pro-CBD.
People want a magic bullet, something that fixes their problem(s). Generally, there is no such thing.

Naptha(lighter fluid) and a coffee maker outside. Super easy, no need to pay stupid prices and yes, it does help mental health.
As a cannabis patient (for the treatment of ADHD, SPD [Sensory Processing Disorder], C-PTSD, ASD [Autism Spectrum Disorder] ) I found that CBD, when smoked, did absolutely nothing; the problem being that CBD doesn't affect your central nervous system nearly as much as THC. For example, THC helps to alleviate an overload of sensory perceptions as the problem lies in my brain and nervous system being too sensitive to external stimuli; imagine the dry, overheated roots of a tree suddenly receiving a wealth of rainwater an' soaks it up like a sponge for some cool relief - CBD, however... just splashes the tree trunk with a bucket
Nice analogy I like that.
That’s a good way to explain it thanks
I have most/if not all of what you said. I love your analogy on THC, very relatable. I have been curious of the effects of CBD for day use/work. Do you have thoughts on being functional with the combined use, with a lower dose of THC? I absolutely love how my brain functions on THC, I get a sense of normalcy in focus, creativity, mood (likely better serotonin delivery) and therefore emotional regulation, and overall intelligence. Plus a huge confidence boost. My concern on using it for work is my slight lack of physical control; essentially the high. I’d run the risk of no filter too. This is on a micro dose of 10mg edible.
Would love to hear your thoughts, if any, on it. Feel free to share your experiences, even if it varies!
@@chantellelacey I recommend sticking with more pine scented strains that focus on pain relief, depression/PTSD relief (Indica dominant hybrid strains are lovely). Meditative exercises are a must (yoga and strength training help a bunch; "To train the mind to its potential you have to train the body." -FMA). The worth of 1 joint @ 20-23% THC per day fits my personal needs, yours may vary; I dose myself in the same manner as one would use an inhaler (as needed) - the joint is usually worth about 6 doses. Take the time to measure how far the effects go, how long they last, how long you're able to go between tokes/doses. I notice after about 3, sometimes 4 hours, depending on the environment and how active it is, my body starts to tense up with sensory overload and you definitely see my fuse burn Real short Real fast, and yes, it hurts. Eating it is another matter that, while I do prefer overall, is a might tricky as your liver can amplify the effects due to the chemical reactivity. Currently testing dosing levels using flowers boiled in olive oil as part of a pumpkin seed oil dipping sauce for bread and such. Method works well... maybe too well. Still testing.

Support medical marijuana. Years ago, I smoked marijuana (illegally) because the pain from my radical hysterectomy (cancer) did not respond to Percocet, a narcotic. Couldn't reach my surgeon and a pain doctor wouldn't touch me as I was "somebody else's patient." Two puffs on a joint controlled the pain for 1/2 hour. Was off of it in 2 weeks. Interestingly, what caused my pain was the biopsies on nearby organs!
That sounds like your doctors messed up. If Percocet didn't work, there are plenty of other proven and controlled drugs to try instead. The fact that you couldn't get in touch with any doctor to discuss this is a big problem. But it doesn't mean marijuana should be the go-to; it's got tons of bioactive compounds and most of them aren't controlled for dosage, which is a major problem and the difference between medication and self-treatment.

After a month or two I started blacking out completely everytime I stood up after about 5 steps. I would faint or passout a few times a month and fall but was never hurt. If I was outside and would look up I would get dizzy everytime. I had heart scan, cat scans, two mri's a year apart. My ears were good no tumors and none of the doctors ever figured out why. I started taking 40 mg's of cbd isolates 99.9% 4 times a day under my tongue from a lab in Colorado. I haven't had a blackout or fainting spell since. It has been two months and I will continue this treatment for ever.
CBD is the only thing that helps me with my back pain. And also inner stress, It's the best! I highly recommend it. :)
This dude is just awesome to learn from. Keep it up amigo
I used CBD for a while to help with my anxiety and it worked great. Also one study is not enough to determine it's efficacy in a scenario that may or may not have been anxiety inducing in it's subjects. I have anxiety but I don't have issues with public speaking.
It was one of many studies. Plus, the fact that public speaking may not cause anxiety for everyone is the reason they do measurements before AND afterwards. If someone doesn't have anxiety with public speaking, their results obviously don't factor into wether CBD affected their anxiety or not in this study.
Great breakdown & analysis!
This certainly needs more research before it can/should be admitted into routine practice/usage...!

Another question is how much cbd the liver can tolerate without toxicity.
The research is promising, but I agree that more research involving larger sample sizes is needed. The more we know about Cannabis, Hemp, and CBD, the more we will benefit.
I keep my favorite brand of cbd oil on hand for panic attacks and it chills me out
What brand and type do you use? I'm suffering from panic attacks everyday for the last few months and looking into cbd
Have you tried magnesium glycinate as an everyday supplement to lower the frequency and intensity of panic attacks? It lowers anxiety by decreasing the amount of adrenaline secreted by our body
Does wonders for my social anxiety and organizes my thoughts and I do not need any FDA approval to feel the effects. Of course big farma will say that the research is inconsistent and it never will be, because in the eyes of pharmaceutical companies only their pills work and nothing else.
This is so right
I have Crohn´s Dessease, ADHD, Torrettes Syndrome, heavy depression, Insomnia, Aspergers syndrome and i Can NOT live without CBD/THC.
it's great for sleep, it improves my quality of sleep.
The video does not include Autism Spectrum Disorder and Epilepsy where the treatment with CBD shows very promising results. I have ASD and the doses that work for me range anywhere from 300 to 700 mg (depending on whether the day is mild or I have many agitations, or I'm close to having a meltdown). It is expensive, however I definitely see a difference using it, the only side effect being sometimes on higher doses it might make me sleepy. More research is being done on CBDV (cannabidivarin), especially for Autism and Epilepsy, which is very similar to CBD but seems to affect these two conditions in a better way, moreover CBDV doesn't have the drowsiness/sleepiness side effect.
Use niacin the B's complex from 50 mg up not less for epilepsy it will you a rush on yr skin at the beginning but the body will get use to eventually it will not happen anymore
That's fascinating. Where's the next best place to learn more about what you're discussing?
CBD has been a huge part of my pain relief journey. I use a company called Eden's Herbals! I would 10/10 recommend them!
My Asperger's seems non existent ever since I switched from THC to CBD flower my ADD is still pretty bad though
Try CBG. It's more neuroprotective than CBD, it works on the same receptors as THC but in a different way and increases focus. Some good anecdotal evidence out there that it helps with ADD/ADHD, although it's not conclusive yet, but well worth trying.
I disagree on your take on not being against a placebo that makes you feel better. On of the reasons that cognitive behavioral therapy is effective is because it challenges the patient to actively process their symptoms and restructure them into something more positive. It is well established at this point that anxiety and depression can significantly amplify physical symptoms like pain. For example, most people have a memory of an food that made them sick and the thought of it brings back feelings of nausea. Then on the extreme side of the spectrum you have conversion disorder, where people can manifest extreme levels of disability from stress and depression. Placebo treatments externalize a persons focus and makes that “thing” the solution to their condition. Belief in that placebo can in the short term give temporary relief from physical symptoms. The thing is, placebos lose their effective over time and now that person has even more feelings of anxiety about their symptoms coming back and they can even get worse. Then the hunt for a new placebo begins and a cycle of dependency is created. We need to take the emphasis off placebo and instead focus on improving mental health, either through psychotherapy or a combination of that and physical therapy for chronic pain.
Got me off alcohol, drugs.
I've heard claims that CBD is only effective in combination with other cannabinoids i.e. unprocessed weed products.
Are there any official studies on various weed strains with varying levels of THC?
You should search for studies on specific terpenes, like myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, to name a few. Idk if that’s what you’re looking for but it’s much more specific and there are studies going on right now
@@Jenny-tm3cm Terpenes aren't cannabinoids. He's talking about THC, CBG, CBN, etc.
Awhile ago I saw a paper (an actual published study, not a random website) that said something about how THC can increase the effects of CBD, but I don't remember the details, and I don't think that particular study tested different doses of THC to find an optimal amount, either. But even if that's true, it would just mean an isolated CBD + THC combo-drug would be most effective, it wouldn't imply "unprocessed weed products" are better. Weed has TONS of other chemicals in it, many of which are biologically active, and most of which are usually not controlled for dosage, so smoking weed will never be the better way to get the benefits of specific compounds within it. But people who like their "unprocessed weed products" will argue until they're blue in the face because to them, they like getting high and therefore convince themselves their subjective anecdotes beat actual scientific investigation, so it's kind of a moot point.
(Case in point: there's a Facebook group / website called I Fucking Love Science, whose followers are ostensibly science-minded folk who, well, love science. And most of the time, they do. But whenever they post an article outlining studies which find potential negative effects from marijuana, all of a sudden the comments are flooded with people rejecting the science in favor of their own experiences. 🤷♂️)
@@wmdkitty they specifically asked "the differences between strains" which is such a broad sentance it doesnt even make sense. The strain is determined by what the terps are contained in the sample. If you ignore the terps you're ignoring everything that makes up the sample, THC and CBD are very different things and are also dependent on what terps are in the sample.
Maybe people dont care to get that in depth but it has completely turned my life around in a good way since I got my med card, knowing which terps do what is essential to finding a strain that helps with whatever condition the user has. That's why there have been studies conducted and there are more being done right now, for medical conditions

as to THC helping CBD out , yes! just a tiny amount of THC in any CBD " formula" will make that CBD 75 % more effective ..
THC access cb1 / CBD = cb2 . with enough CBD metaboism ( A few thousand mg) CBD can weakly back cross talk to cb1 ( lipid rafts /TRPV1)

I'm a veterinarian, and I have to give a similar talk to clients. When owners realize how much cbd has to be purchased, they usually decide against it.
600 mg' CBD is the standard dosage for testing ... anything less is considered placebo
CBD for animals?! Sorry but that's just insane. I love my dog as much as the next person but you have to be truly scientifically illiterate to think that incredibly weak medical science on a substance in human beings is a good reason to give it to animals.

It improves my sleep and mental well being.
Your blah, blah, blah will not do you any good if you had not taken it.
The fact there are so many claims on CBD makes me doubtful of the efficacy of any of them.
lok into your endocannabinoid system ... and too ther is way more than CBD in the cannabis plant ... that is but one decarboxylated phytocannabinoid out of an entire plant
Could there be a similar "Goldilock" effect at *lower* doses? I've honestly never taken more than 40mg, and the effect is *absolutely* noticeable and not placebo. I'm really surprised even "self-reported" studies had participants say they don't feel less anxious. Maybe me and everyone I know who uses is super sensitive to CBD...? That or those studies are BS.
"...and the effect is absolutely noticeable and not placebo." How would you know the difference? The whole point of the placebo effect is that it feels real and that's why studies need to control for it.

UA-cam comments: CBD seems to work for a person that I know.
The medical model is about making money. CBD works and clinicians that aren't tied to the big pharma machine know that. You are doing an unpaid internship for a pretty evil industry with these comments. I can grow CBD easily and legally in my basement so nobody can really make big bucks of it. So no research!
@@kaytsippy1981 actually big pharma cuts me a check for each comment I make to deceive people.
The best scientific method is to try cbd for your self and see how well it works. There is a lot of politics and money making crap in the official endorsement of helpful product that is why FDA is almost impossible to approve something widely available and helpful that is why they mostly only approve farmaceiticals as the most effective stuff and get their monetary share from big farma for their decisions.
Great video. Thank you
I personally know of 4 people (myself included) that a full-spectrum hemp oil (not just CBD) has helped a lot. I have used CBD by itself before, and it did not help that much, other than making me a bit drowsy (which helped a bit with sleep).
the more molecular information being delivered the more metabolic response to that information ... molecules are information that we realize via metabolism of them

@K-Artherton Any feed back A-K?
I am pretty skeptical of using CBD and/or marijuana for treating mental health mainly because of my experience having PTSD and having tried weed gummies. While I will say it did help me feel less anxious short-term, I found it to be VERY addictive and had to quit almost immediately. And that was just at doses at about 2-3mg. While I recognize that my experience was just an individual account, there doesn’t seem to be any good data in support of it either. My main concern is that while the focus seems to be on relieving for example anxiousness, I worry for the long term effects of such a drug on populations already highly prone to addiction.
CBD or THC?
So if you were addicted, as I am to caffeine, and it was as affordable for you, as coffee is for me, what do you think would be the results of addiction?
J ay Marijuana is a legitimate drug, albeit often considered less serious than for example “hard drugs” like LSD. Drug addiction, yes even marijuana addiction, can have pretty serious consequences, including those to your health and support structures. Comparing this to caffeine addiction is a bit insensitive.
Shenanigans. It's not addictive.
@@wmdkitty yes it is. At least THC
CBD gummies are highly effective for me in reducing soreness, inflammation, stress and anxiety. I'll usually just take one. Most days I take zero. I took five once and was blissed out for the night.

Question: if I'm not mistaken we've confirmed that marijuana treats anxiety, and I've been told that there are 2 active agents in marijuana CBD and THC, why would CBD not treat anxiety if it's the only major non-hallucinogenic active component of marijuana? Am I misunderstanding something?
it is cannabis plant .. the molecular compounds you are talking about are cannabinoids , plant cannabinoids .. we have identified 150 of the plant ... THC and cBD are but tow out of all that and they are actually decarboxylated forms ( dries somewhat) ... it is CBD-a / THC-a while on the plant ... the A means acid
all cannabis plant metabolites metabolize in the persons endocannabinoid system ... I research this and just say it in posts ... not sure where you are in your research but theer is what we have found so far
