@@EurasiaNaval Yeah, I believe they mistake it for 116, 051C have s-300 in replacement for helicopter hanger. the 167 was refitted in 2015 to some thing similar to 054.
All these ships and yet so few true bases. Unless Gwadar, Ormara, Pasni, and possibly Khor Kalamat, but especially Gwadar become true operational Naval Bases, with shipyards and drydocks, refineries and fuel storage, etc Pak Navy still has to fear being holed up in Karachi in the event of an Indian blockade (as happened in 71) or risk significant escalation of what are normally limited engagements by using their Subs to breakthrough the blockade by attacking Indian ships. You can buy a garage and then fill it with cars, or you can buy the cars and then build a garage to house them. I suspect Pakistan has gone the latter route.
Extremely basic navy with no capabilities outside their own shores. Theor best ship is the fairly basic Type-054 Chinese frigate which is untested. The India navy is under no significant treat From Pakistan it seems like. Especially considering the Indian navy grows more rapidly than the Pakistani navy.
Pakistan navy primary role is Anti Access and Area denial. It will Not go to indian territory. It will stay under its airforce air cover. Dedicated maritime strike fighter squadrons were raised which works entirely with Pakistan navy. The offensive might be carried out by the submarines though.
@@ulikemyname6744 It will not need to protect its navy. There is no country in neighborhood which can by pass 11 AIP enabled submarines. The AIP allows to keep subs submerged for weeks and it becomes near impossible to detect those. Maritime strike fighter squadrons are loaded with supersonic anti-ship missiles. The surface fleet( ships ) maybe won't even be required to fire its long range anti-ship missiles as subs and fighter jets create outer parameter offence. That's why PN has transformed into a perfect A2/AA force. It won't allow anyone into its territory even without using latest Type54As and Babur corvettes etc.
@@usermk99 You rely on that the Pakistani Navy is fight capable enough for all that you said to take place. You also rely that their staff is capable enough to use all these weapons. You also rely on that the systems on ships like Type 054 are capable of doing what they are advertised to do which is highly doubtful considering it was never used in any kind of mission. You rely on all these things for your assessment but the Russian sailors on Moskva were also capable on paper to defend themselves but 2 subsonic missiles destroyed the Destroyer that on paper was more than capable of defending itself from such weak attack like that which sank it. Even the automatic system was capable of defending yet it failed.

A small navy
Haha the anti-ship missiles are deck mounted so the ship has to turn to fire towards the target.
The missiles can curve forward or backwards to engage the enemy. It does lose 10% of its range tho.
@@MuhammadAli-255 It is useless to have anything that is not vertically launched.

@@usermk99 And even then Pakistan has no means to protect it's navy.
@@ulikemyname6744 Don't worry Pakistan only has to counter Indian Navy not some first world nation's Navy.
I am from pakistan
I believe that Turkey is rated ahead of Pakistan, in the world power index, I just wonder what Turkey has that puts it ahead of Pakistan, bearing in mind that Pakistan has nukes.
India must be fourth and then Pakistan or Turkey, Pakistan has nukes, but Turkey has a lot of conventional weapons. Britian and France also have nukes, they would be ahead of the other European countries. I doubt that Germany has much.
@@johnbodman4504how Turkiye has more conventional weapons than Pakistan, can U name some of them,I think Pakistan lagged behind it is bcz of very struggling economy
@@shahid5940As far as I know, Turkey is number five on the world ranking of military strength, though it has no nuclear weapons, but Pakistan does. Turkey and Pakistan both have poor economys, but I guess Turkey is the better of the two. That would explain why Turkey has a stronger force of conventional weapons. I dont have the knowledge to be more specific than that.
@@johnbodman4504 no bro Pakistan has now only 7 billion foreign reserves while turkiye is now 1 trillion economy, Pakistan has big airforce, land force, wide variety of ballistic Missiles, tanks, artillery, number of Soldiers etc more than turkey
@@shahid5940Perhaps Turkey is not ahead of Pakistan, particularly since Pakistan has nukes.

*Oh, Saar, this is truly impressive! But the real question is, does Pakistan have anything to match our Indian submarine prowess? Our Indian submarines are equipped with air-independent propulsion, harnessing the power of sacred cows to generate oxygen. They move silently, like a deadly Indian fart after a curry, creating waves in the depths of the ocean, just like in a Bollywood blockbuster!*
