When this game first came out I wrote it off as a Metal Gear Solid clone. Thankfully One of my friend's convinced me to give it a try and I've been a fan of the series ever since.
When entering the first person mode, the reticle will always be on the same level as the head of the enemy. It's just a matter of adjusting the reticle with the left and right direction on your d-pad. Also spraying bullets as your move the reticle left and right is a cheap way to achieve headshots.
I hate the fact this game was never a movie 🎥🍿 just pissed me off and Hollywood never intended to make a what would have been a good movie, by the way that minority Report which sucked Tom Cruise movir
Some notes for trophy hunters watching this video. Most trophies can be unlocked by simply playing through the game. Some of the miscellaneous are more obvious than others. Here's the ones that might be more difficult to unlock for those unfamiliar with the game. Moar Guns Plz - 1:19:32 - Use the computer to unlock the armory in the base bunker. Run, Logan, Run! - 1:25:24 - You will need to finish Mission 11 without killing anyone. Pressing O to roll makes it harder for enemies to shoot you. Aaaannd… Gotcha! - 1:30:41 - Shoot the chandelier to crush an enemies with it. Hold Your Nose - 1:32:11 - Shoot the rounded test tube. Heartless! - 2:20:01 - Shoot Erikson after you finish talking to him.
I can see that this game is good. I'm enjoying it but the poor movement controls for the time are making the game harder than it is for me. I'm having trouble turning in time to kill the men on the helicopter boss. I really wanna praise this game. Shame it can't get a proper remake!

For the episode 5 boss fight, it works better to silently move behind him and shoot him in the back. 5 shots with the 45 will take him out. I'm a tad rusty at this game, but some of the ol' PS1 knowledge is coming back to me the longer I play...
Playng this now is a huge pain in the ass the control scheme is so archaic specially if compared to much of he's contemporary's AKA Metal gear 1 this gane was straight up only behind MGS in my favorite ps1 games but playing it in 2022 is just a pain it makes me quit btw I didn't have this sweet tutorial at the beginning
@@michaelneumeister492 how I was playing on my phone or how did I find the torch? 1- On a ps1 emulator (epsxe) 2- it's in Ur weapons wheel you hold sum button to bring up everything Ur holding the torch is there to equip. :)

metal gear solid was cartoonish as hell .... this game was way more realistic with a good story line

Legendary game Syphon Filter 1,2,3 in Playstation 1
I started with syphon filter 2 and then 3 after over 20 years ago and now I discovered syphon filter 1 is available on ps plus I will try that also 😅
how are you getting the quick headshots? I get confused with the controls it's so weird going back to the days before the analog stick
