    The italian pronouns are indeed a stumble stone for many of us! But in my native language (German) pronouns are even more difficult. Thanks for this video.
    By the way I bought your grammar book on Amazon and like it a lot. I just wish you would publish an exercise book (with the solutions at the end to compare to) to go along with it.

      Oh, I know something about the difficulty of learning German! 😃
      About the exercise book - I have been planning it for a long time now but I haven't had the time to work on it yet. Too many projects and UA-cam takes up so much time. But I will make it my next priority!

    i do not know how many times i have to be told these rules - my brain is like a sieve!! Posso fare una domanda? Come si pronuncia tè e te?
    Per esempio nel frase “ ho sempre creduto in te” e
    “ ho sempre creduto in tè “
    C’è una grande differenza fra come si pronuncia te e tè? Non voglio sentire come sto parlando tè quando sto parlando te.

    • @MyItalianCircle
      @MyItalianCircle  4 місяці тому

      La pronuncia standard del pronome te è con la e chiusa: té, però in buona parte delle regioni italiane (compresa la mia) si pronuncia con la e aperta: tè.
      In ogni caso nessuno confonderà il pronome con la bevanda ;)

    I dont get it, so do we replace the actual word with its subject pronoun?

    • @MyItalianCircle
      @MyItalianCircle  Рік тому

      Pronouns replace nouns, that’s their job. In English (it, he, him, she, her, they and so on) and in Italian as well 🙂
      Subject pronouns replace the subject of a sentence (who or what performs the action); direct object pronouns replace the direct object (the object of the action); indirect object pronouns replace objects that follow prepositions. Sorry for the grammar jargon, but it's necessary to understand some basic concepts.

    I have never understood Italian language Pronouns that fit inbetween before Verb or Noun, not sure? in the grammar as I wasn't taught grammar in the School I attended. I suppose you have to use some sort intuition like a guessing game to work out what the pronoun and Verb/noun mean within the sentence, for example I was reading a Post from an Italiana lady and in the comment it had the words, si vestono, and I stumbled upon its meaning and could not grasp it so I had to use a translator. This is something I have always found difficult in reading and listening to Italian speakers and writers. I am still struggling to get it, like, Vi Ti Ne Mi Gli Ve Ci Te Ce Ciò Cioe me etcetera. Antonio Futura Tiani3574 ( Tony Farrell ).

    • @MyItalianCircle
      @MyItalianCircle  10 місяців тому

      Hi Antonio, pronouns are very tricky, also because very often they look the same but they have different functions. I talked about reflexive verbs in a specific video, and I also have a lesson on CI and NE, which are probably the most difficult particles to learn. Alongside studying them, trying to understand what they do (perform the action? receive the action?) and doing exercises with them, you can also try to memorise full sentences that make sense to you and can help you remember.

    I pronomi sono sempre un po’ sconcertante, ma con la pratica sono più facile che da quanto sembrino, anche se lo so che diventano più complesso. Tuttavia, l’unica strada avanti è provare.
