Just saw this interview, and what a trip down memory lane! Harry Billings is my grandfather. We didn't live in Cedar Rapids, so the Kutcher kids were like another set of grandkids to my grandparents. I remember Thumper the St. Bernard, and their cat Smokey, which also would visit Grandpa Harry because he gave the cats tons of treats. My grandparents had a candy drawer in their desk for all us kids, and an old 1930's frig the garage loaded up with soda for the kids and beer for the adults. Their family room was the neighborhood gathering spot. it was a wonderful neighborhood to grow up in.
Man it doesn't get much better than Ashton Kutcher. He's extremely smart, has a good heart, he's gorgeous and humble. Proud to say that I lived in Iowa for several years and those midwest values stayed with me all my life. I'm the same age as him too. He seems like such a good genuine person and so does Mila.
I don’t know. With all his millions, and other than remodeling just the basement of his mother’s home, I heard he doesn’t help his family financially much if at all, and never has like how some people will buy their mom a new home etc.
Kerry Washington, I just discovered this interview and didn't realize your interviewing style is equally as impressive as the actor that you are. You asked so many great questions that opened up Ashton and gave us the best in him. I loved knowing about his childhood and how he followed his heart. The charity Ashton works with is gives me such hope for children who really need this protection. I had to laugh at the end of this when Mila quickly dropped in, because Asthon's pained expression looked like he didn't want Mila to steal his spotlight. Don't worry, Ashton, we love you both.
Naw he probably jus wanted her down where her was as he was pretending it was Kerry. But Mila is a cutie pie 🥧as well. I like her ears n lips 💋😍. So maybe her can hold a candle next ta Kerry!!
Wow, two of my favorite persons in the same interview...I loved it.😍 Ashton is an amazing human being and thanks a million for giving us the opportunity to find out more about him. Good luck with this project, dear Kerry. ❤️😘🙏
OMG ... I love you as an interviewer Kerry ... you are so good at this. Quote moment? "What did you want to do...?" Ashton, "Why do we have to pick?" ... love that.
Cream of mushroom soup on white bread! This definitely brought back memories of my young childhood in a small town in Iowa about a half hour away from Cedar Rapids.
Shoutout to Cedar Rapids Iowa! I grew up the same time as Ashton in Cedar Rapids Iowa what a great city and Ashton you are a wonderful reflection of Iowa!
What a wonderful interview it just goes to show a lot of the values you learn growing up carry with you throughout your life and I love the charity Thorn being a child of sexual abuse myself I’m so glad there is more ways for children to express when a family member is involved unfortunately I didn’t have that growing up in the 60,s and 70 ,s there was no outlet for me no one to talk to it wasn’t brought up in school so I commend you for looking out for all children of all types of abuse and thank you for giving the silent ones like I was a voice so touching brings tears to my eyes
I LOVE Ashton Kutcher. There is so much about this that I love. The entire video but especially the black and white pictures on his wall behind him AND the story about the lamp. Kerry, I truly 🤣 at the part when you said he was creating havoc by waking up the cornfields. Also, can I just say from this point forward I will always look at your tea mug and think of Camila Cabello (your previous video). ❤️❤️
You don't appreciate the nickname of The City of Five Smells and understand it until you actually live there. This is legit the most accurate nickname of any city I've ever heard of.
Oh my gosh, I didn't know about Kerry on UA-cam... I love this... I have watched all of her movies and shows, of course our fave Olivia Pope... I'm subscribed and hooked now too.. Ashton Kutcher is so awesome too...
@Kerry Washington was really and truly interested in the responses. You could see her marvel at and internalize the experiences he shared. This was why he felt comfortable sharing because he could genuinely feel her interest and investment in his story
Love it! I'm going to be honest, I never though I would like this interview so much, but I really found it interesting and funny and warm. Enjoying these.👍
You invented some outstanding questions! This is truly one of the best “clomps down memory lane” I have had the privilege of hearing. One of my favourite styles of reading throughout my life has been biographies or autobiographies, so this was right up my alley. I loved the way your questions could have been asked of any of us, famous or otherwise. Thank you SO much. What a delight!
When you think about it there's similarities to Ashton and Mila's beginnings Both came from far away, from unlikely places, Mila from across the globe and her family winning visa or however it went, and moving to LA, Ashton being discovered and winning a modeling contest that got him to the big cities. They both came from super humble beginnings and places and got so lucky to where they got through life, and eventually crossing paths and finding each other. You could write a movie about them lol
Wow!!! I'm so impressed by this channel---unbeknownst to me that it even existed. I was led to it based on your Twitter post; with you being one of my favorite actresses of all time. Writing this from Sierra Leone by way of Sacramento, California. You had such control of the interview Kerry, and all these eclectic facts about Ashton Kutcher that we as an audience would never believe. My respect for him is quite solid now. But...I'm still going to stick with "soda" and "tennis shoes."😉 Great channel!!! I will continue tuning in, now that I've subscribed. What an honor to be leaving a comment directly to Ms. Olivia Pope herself!!!🤗🥰 Oh yeah...I'm also an only child. I think I heard you say that on a post you did with your dad a while back and I couldn't believe it as you know how rare it is to come across "US"...LOL.
This interview is perfect at 1.25x speed 💕 You can tell these are performers because they are able to speak in a way that sounds perfect sped up or slowed down.
This is the one I first and only comment I have ever left on anything ever in my life and I personally think that you and ATCHER BABY GIRL NOT SURE IF I'M STILL IN THAT RIGHT JUST SAYING YOU WOULD BE THERE PERFECT COUPLE 100
Kar City Big Wheels BM'X and Van accessories shop. Owned by Don Coppernoll. It was THE BMX bike shop for Iowa. Don was like everyone's dad. Me and my brother's along with Don's son Craig built loads of Mongoose and Redline bikes there.
Coke- the town I grew up in, is where the Coca Cola bottle was invented (Terre Haute, IN) and Coca- cola was then bottled, so every carbonated beverage was a coke… and could be interchangeable with pop. “Do you want a Coke?” Could mean Sprite or Pepsi or orange soda.
Kerry is 1 of da all time as far as talent, beauty, perseverance cuz I ain't know Dat was her n Dat Save da last dance movie. It was so bootsy Dat u ain't even peep those n da background but I alwayz thought who is Dat pretty sista wit those cheekbones like my g ma. Oh n she had married my nia Nnamdi Asomugha from Oakland Raiders at da Boys n Girls club no less. So yes she is Tha Bomb plus Tha Shiznit!!!!! U go girl
I always knew Ashton was a good dude. And I'm not surprised he attracted someone like mila Kunis they are both great people. They advocate for the homeless too, and stay tf out of the Hollywood bullshit and their smart enough to keep a low profile.
