I was in Honduras in Comayagua Honduras in 1983 as part of the U.S. Army pioneer mission to build the Palmerola Air Base. My unit was the 101st Air Assault BN and the mission was name AHUAS TARA II , (BIG PINE TREE II). I was the Battalion Motor Seargeant, SFC Bermudez.
Very nice, yes I remember that name " Ahuas tara 2" from my childhood. As you can see in the video, Comayagua has changed for the better. When you were there it was all dirt roads, now it is rebuilt to its majestic colonial times!!

1987 - 1989 I was station in Palmerola ( Soto Cano). Got married in 1988 and end of been single 😂😂..still married by the way.
