That's not to say you there are no examples of both... but increasingly it's becoming, number of sales, streams, downloads = great. And that's not the case AT ALL.
I don’t do the numbers talk, because the numbers don’t tell me if an album is good or not. In this case, it’s DJ Mustard and his album is pretty good. If he keeps releasing singles, the public would appreciate the album more. Additionally, when did we hold DJs albums to high regard? Never seen a dj’s album jump in the numbers ring. The only dj that does this is Khaled and he shouldn’t because his singles are the only songs worth listening.
