Incorrectly predicting who I thought the protagonist would ultimately choose to be with, actually made me depressed, I'll just say most Shonen Romcoms usually follow a set patterns, so I guess deviating from the typical formula could be argued as writing. Of the genre my favorites would be Maison Ikkoku (same woman who wrote Inuyasha) followed by His and Her Circumstances (the man who directed Neon Genesis).

My little brother who is only 19 hasn’t graduated college is jobless and still lives with our parents has so many girls who like him that it is a running joke among our friends that every time he speaks to a girl they are “just friends” also two other friends I have with no job have girlfriends
