I’m surprised you don’t have a Freewing Cougar, it comes with the E52 gyro. I figured that the new E52 gyro would be the new one through Freewing, so I bought the E52 programmer. Since then the E52 hasn’t been available. Loved the FGFRC intro - Great 👍 Video
They have flights of this now and if you do the gear upgrade it can seem to do okay on reasonable grass. Personally I would go for the 6s as I prefer 6s to 4s even in 64mm and glad to see this option finally offered in 64mm edf jet.
I have assembled mine and the wiring under the battery board was wrong - I ended up with one aileron and one flap action as if they were Ailerons , so had to remove the battery board and rewire - so much for QC, also I am using a 6S 3300 had to push it right to the back of the bay, Stap was no good too far forward, so added a velcro block to stop the battery move forward, also had to add 10g of iron to the tail - its ready to fly now, just need some good weather (and I use a grass field) !!! - Just seen that they are doing an 80mm version - I might trade up sell this 64mm and get an 80mm...
Well if I could have done this over and not bought this plane then I would have steered clear! Now i can see why Motion RC does not seem to be wanting to carry this Freewing.
Well to be honest If I could do it again I would not have bought it. it is okay but there are better planes to buy. it needs to be bigger for the price.

This one is the 6s with the upgraded gear. I need to fly her a few more times though to appreciate her.
Oh gee sorry I thought it was 4s my oversight yeah the price difference seems well worth going 6s.

You could but you would need to protect the servo connections on the underside.
