Thank you for the pointers. Your suggestion on how to place the blade on the strainer is the best.

My Blade was so jammed up and stiff, I watched this solution with wild skepticism. Two hours later, the blade spins as easily as yours at the end of this demo. Dang! Used about five cents of olive oil. Thank you!

Thanks for the advice. Will give it a try. Even if I have to buy a new one, it is a rock solid product that lasted way beyond my expectations. Again, thanks for the tip.

This is great for a temporary solution but it doesn't change the fact that the bearings are worn and need to be replaced. Once a cartridge bearing has this much wear, it's going to worse at an ever increasing rate, requiring a more lasting repair soon enough.
I do think that if you were to use this oil trick on the bearings from the beginning, when the extractor blade is new, it will very likely extend the life of the bearings so I am definitely going to try that. Thanks for the tip.

Wow great job man. Had same issue and searched ( nutri bullet blade got stuck ) your video showed up. I was thinking to add wd-40 then I thought what if it would leak to inside! Then I will eat wd-40! This is great video so useful thanks

Thanks brother - mine was sticking like crazy and this really helped! It didn't work at first & I had to force turn it but once it got unstuck it started to spin smoother & smoother!

Saved me having to buy a new blender! Fixed the exact same problem... all the use and washing dried up any lubrications in the blades. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽

FYI-In the Nutrabullet website, they make a big deal out of not removing the gaskets. Though the one on your model is very easy to remove and reinstall. There is a very different gasket on my 600W NB-101`B that is very difficult to reinstall and have it fit as tightly as originally installed by the manufacturer. On a brighter note, I just tried your vegetable oil trick and it works nicely...thank you very much. Later, I may try replacing the steel bearing with stainless steel, for longer bearing life and better juicing. I am going to go ahead and do the vacuum hack that I watched after you fix my "sticky" problem.

This worked in seconds, filled up the back of the blade unit with oil, and turned the blade manually. After only a few very stiff revolutions it was starting to spin more freely. A few more and it was almost perfect.
Great easy fix, I wonder how long it will last before having to be redone?

Nutribullet DANGER. See info and bloody photos on UA-cam. Lawsuits from injured customers. Yikes! If I had one without a handle on the container I would choose to either return it for a refund or avoid getting my hands next to the blades and limit the blending time to less than one minute and for sure not put anything hot in the blender. Maybe unplug the blender so the blades aren't spinning before removing it from the base? Look for the manufacturers to redesign the new blenders to avoid this rare malfunction. I ordered a Nutribullet with a handle on the container, and it's vented to prevent explosions. I plan to oil the blade periodically to keep it running thanks to your video.

I’ll have to try this. Another problem I have is that the o-ring comes out when using frozen items. I can’t use any ice. The o-ring pops out during the blend and it’s nearly impossible to get back on. I have to put hot water in with the frozen fruit to soften them, then dump the water. I never remove the o-ring unless it comes out on its own.

@@Rononeil82 it should be quieter if you replace the bearing with the stainless one.. It should be quiete.. But it is quite the effort plus the extra amount you will spend on it..

We replaced the bearings which cost us about £5. When we took the old ones out, it was obvious that vegetable oil would have only been a temporary fix. See John Meyer's tutorial (5mins 24). Very good!

UA-cam and/or the phone's audio recorder compress the audio so you can't really hear volume differences.
