I love Casio, I love G-shocks, I love G-Shock Squares even more! The only thing that bugs me a little about “baby G“ is the “baby“ in the name. If only Casio had chosen something like “compact G” instead of baby… I I feel I am belittled more than I need to. I already have the wrist of a small kid : there’s no need to make it even more evident!😂 Thanks for this good review!
I suppose it's not really an appropriate name for an adults watch, but I don't mind too much Compact G ....hmm that works! a better name I think, your wrists are fine, nothing wrong with them. Thank you for watching and the comment 🙏 grazie per la tua opinione molto apprezzata
Mini-g or Micro- g will work for me. This is still a good size watch and you can just replace the band if your wrist is too big. It also looks good on a nato strap after installing a nato adapter.
I believe it used to be called the G-Shock Mini back in the day. The DW-500 came out in the late 80s, and in the 90s, there were GMN models that said "g-shock mini," like the GMN-691G. I bet they'd sell more if they called it that again. I personally don't care, but I can see how some people might. I rock this BGD-560. It's the first G-Shock I ever bought for myself.
I'm a big fan of this one. It has most of the features of the GWM-5610 in a non-solar/multiband model. I bought mine in Japan. I prefer it over the DW-5600E since the size is a little better on my smaller wrist, it fits a little better under shirt sleeves, the display looks crisper, I can mute the button tone, and the resin strap feels a little nicer. I got about 5 years out of the stock battery with minimal usage of the features, but I threw a new battery in it and use the hourly chime all the time.
I got the pokemon special edition one and it's the only baby-g I will wear. I replaced the strap cause I didn't want to damage it since it's almost impossible to replace the band of a special edition one and the replacement band was a little longer too whicj made the watch fit better.
@@Dynamics_Watch_Reviews I collected pokemon cards in the past so when I accompanied my wife in a store sale, I saw the watch in the corner and it was marked down for 60 bucks and I knew it was waiting for me to adopt it lol. The price now for this watch usually goes between 140 to 300 depending on the country. I'm not really keen on selling collectibles as I just buy what I like for keeps.
Good day. maybe I wasn't looking carefully. how to enable/disable button click sound. Which symbol should light up on the screen, confirming that the buttons are muted. Thank you
But the price is higher than a normal dw5600e.. I wish casio never put a baby G branding & make a small version of a dw5600e.. baby G is for kids & girls only..Instead they should name it the G-shock mini.. or mini G.. also if they will make an all steel cased mini version of dw5000u it is the best for smaller guys & also for girls that wants an all steel screwback OG styled G-shock..

Nice one, I didn't realise that it's similar to the GWM-5610 (without the features)
Thanks for watching, much appreciated
I can recommend the BGD-5000: 200m WR, solar and MB6.
Nice choice!
Great little watch!!!

Nice, special edition models can become by very sort after in the future.
Thanks for your comment 🙏

Very good idea, it's the best way to go ... keep that treasure for many years.
I'm so glad you spotted that one and got it for a great price well done
