Yes I understand what they're talking about now, later in the song the guitar track seems to be slightly out of sync with the song, can't remember if I moved it by accident in cubase, if I couldn't hear the backing track, or if I just suck (surely the latter)
I find gojira songs arent to hard to figure out. I figured out Flying Whales, Love, Backbone, and Explosia without looking for tabs. Try it sometime, it trains your ears really well.
+1, they aren't melodically difficult songs. Their technicality comes mostly in drums and in trying to be consistent with rhythm (which is hard enough)

Nope c'est pas du playback, je fais même plusieurs prises pour que ça soit niquel tu peux voir les coupures à certains moments. Donc si mes doigts étaient pas bien placés ça s'entendrait, n'oublie pas que au tapping tu peux appuyer même pile sur la fret et quand même avoir la bonne note

They actually delay a little each pull off during that riff and I tried to do the same, I think that's why it sounds a little off sometimes

On drop D tuning you only tune the low E one step down while on standard D you tune all strings one step down

Tu utilises juste le côté du mediator pour appuyer sur la fret à la place de ton doigt, et ça te permet de faire du tapping beaucoup plus rapide
Je crois que la technique s'appelle Pick Tapping ou quelque chose comme ça
