Citizen Ghost | The Real Ghostbusters - Full Episode | Indoor Recess

Peter tells reporter Cynthia Crawford (Julie Bennett) the story of what happened to the Ghostbusters after they defeated Gozer. While rebuilding their headquarters and Ecto-Containment Unit, the group is forced to deal with a certain green ghost from the Sedgwick Hotel (which Ray named Slimer). But having the green ghost constantly hanging around them is nothing compared to the trouble they have when a group of evil ghostly doubles decides to take their place by getting rid of the original Ghostbusters.

Based on the blockbuster films, this action-packed animated series starts a decade after the original Ghostbusters saved New York City from ghosts, goblins and ghouls. All the guys have left town, except Egon, now teaching a Paranormal Studies class at the local university. But Zuul, the all-powerful demon, has awakened from hibernation to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting masses. Desperate to recruit a new team, Egon and the plucky Janine turn to four of his teenage students: Kylie, a genius with an encyclopedic knowledge of the occult; Eduardo, a hip slacker with a crush on Kylie; Garrett, a wheelchair-bound athlete with a hot temper; and Roland, a “gentle giant” mechanical whiz. It's only a matter of time before Egon, Janine, old pal Slimer and the “kids” band together to rid the city of the evildoers.

So basically the episode combines the cartoon with the movie

@77J It probably does since this cartoon talks about the events that happened during the movie since Peter said how they just finished completing their hardest case of defeating Gozer the Gozarian from 4:22-4:25 and each of the four Ghostbusters were wearing their movie uniforms covered with Stay Puft marshmallow seen from 4:29-4:32 and this episode also explains why they have different colored uniforms as seen in other episodes. However, the other episode that combines the cartoon with the movie was the cartoon episode of "Big Trouble With Little Slimer" where the Ghostbusters old enemy from the movie which was Walter Peck was going to do a bad thing to Slimer on that episode after he was fired from the "Environmental Protection Agency" and then hired by the "Bureau Of Unidentifiable Flying Organisms" just to put the Ghostbusters out of business forever. In the end Walter Peck got fired from the "Bureau Of Unidentifiable Flying Organisms."
