Yeah, this really needs to be talked about. Why is it every season, we have some unhealthy fascination with penalties? This needs to stop, big time cuz that's really getting annoying and that's gonna cost us at some point
You live with the offsides because more often than not his play is benefiting you. We aren't losing a game because of of a myles offsides call. We have won games because of his timing coming off the line.
When you wont play starters in preseason they have to get up to speed and in rythym while playing real games. I guess the coaches decided the first few games were acceptable losses
@thelowroad216 I couldn't disagree more. The indy game was the only one I wasn't missed at the refs in. Whether it's a home game or away the browns don't get the benefit of the doubt. Even if you want to say we've "earned" our penalties, did Jacksonville not earn at least one holding penalty on myles?
@chrislastname1994 Historically yes, but recently it's actually been ok. Now I'm comparing that to getting no good calls for the majority of my life so you know how that goes.
@thelowroad216 yea we just disagree. It may not be as egregious as years past, but more often than not, if the calls can go against the browns they do. This year is no different. How many facemask penalties you see called against a rb?

holding penalties are tuff but fundamentally they gotta be right coaching andy dickerson need to teach him how to block better other than the holding

Penalties are a product of a lax coaching staff. It's the same reason teams have more injuries than most other teams. Soft practicing habits.
well said. seems like every week our injury report is longer than the other team.
We just gonna act like the refs call browns games fairly? Oh I didn't realize today was fairy tale day.
The last couple years they actually haven't been hard on us. This year's penalties have been on the team (so far)

@chrislastname1994 Honestly, I don't think I've seen that called before, but it was a face mask :/
