PLEASE WATCH SCREAM 2. SCREAM 3 EXPLAINS WHAT HAPPENED TO SIDNEY'S MOM. 1-4 IS SIDNEY'S STORY AND JOURNEY AND A BUNCH OF BACKSTORY THAT YOU DIDN'T GET IN THE FIRST MOVIE
There is one thing I didn’t like about SCREAM. Nothing I loved it. This was a fun filled comedy/ horror combo. Thank you Wes Craven. R.I.P. But seriously I do have one problem with SCREAM. @@Ivy94F same 😭😂 but i think they both did it always at the same time.. like billy calls the victims and stu killed (or tried to) 😅 and i think it’s obvious tho that tatum got killed by billy and kenny got killed by stu.. i cannot tell who killed the principal tho 😅
Also it gets more meta because in the movie “Malibu’s most wanted” the same actor is reacting to this scene in a movie theater and yelling turn around to his character in this.
Sidney gets good towards the end of the first movie. In the second one I couldn’t stand her. But after 3 she became more badass. And in the 5th one ? She just really became that bitch. THE FINAL GIRL!
she didn’t hear him while he was in the closet because he wasn’t the one talking to her on the phone. stu was ghostface in that scene, while billy was the one talking to her. he was outside talking to her so that’s why she wasn’t able to hear him. (hence the reason why he was able to come into the window so quickly after stu disappeared and why the phone purposefully dropped out of his pocket) they did this with every kill; one person distracts the victim on the phone while the other sought out the actual murder. also, billy’s fingers were black because of fingerprints that they take when you’re arrested. he didn’t wash his hands afterwards though to use that as further proof as to why he couldn’t be the one to call her that night.
Matthew Lillard is a legend for so many different reasons, but this role is truly iconic. The scene where he and Skeet are stabbing each other and attacking Sydney is so memorable. It’s funny in a weird way, because of how insane they’re acting. “I’m feeling woozy here!” is an awesome line. My friend and I say it to each other all the time, and just crack up.
Watching now! But the opening probably feels like a spoof because of how many times it has been spoofed since it’s so iconic. Drew was the poster girl so killing her off in the intro was shocking to everyone since she was in all of the press. It changed the game!
I saw the spoofs before the originals and I was surprised that it had humor in it for some reason ??? 😂😂😂 like the parts with gale and the cameraman caught me so off guard cause I thought scary movie exaggerated it.
@@luvvvv124 that’s the point of scream though it’s always had comedy In it it’s a mix of horror/comedy, scary movie basically just exaggerates the humor of Scream because it’s a parody, So just something to remember if you’re a new fan of the Scream franchise.
Fun fact about Tatum's death is the actress was actually able to fit through the hole in the garage's door so it was difficult for her to film that scene considering she had to pretend like she was stuck while trying not to fall at the same time because she slipped all the time, they even had to staple her clothing to the pet flap so that she wouldn't fall
I read somewhere that Billy revealing that Sidney's mother was sleeping with his dad wasn't known to Neve or Matthew, and the reactions you see are genuine.
@@robertyeah2259 well, one thing about that scene is that Roger L. Jackson (the Ghostface voice) performed while he was on the phone, hidden outside the house while Drew Barrymore was doing her own performance, so he could see her but she couldn't see him. Plus, she never heard the voice until they shot that scene, which added some more spooky factor to her performance. Also, apparently the prop master forgot to unplug the phone for that scene, so Drew actually called 911 and they received multiple calls from her screaming. lol Also, Courtney Cox and David Arquette started dating with this movie, and I think they went on until 3. Matthew Lillard and Neve Campbell also dated in 1997 for a few months while she was working on Scream 2. Sorry for the infodump.
@@robertyeah2259I mean, actors have actually been stabbed for real in the franchise, although accidentally. Like when Sidney stabs Billy with the umbrella in costume, the second stab was a real one… it missed the safety guard. And then in the 3rd again when Sidney stabbed the killer in the back with the ice pick(?), she missed the guard again and stabbed the actor. Neve Campbell was coming for blood 💀
They stabbed each other so that they could pretend to have narrowly escaped the killer. If both of them survived unscathed while everyone else was either dead or injured, that would have been very suspicious.
@@happywebster7151 Because the phone slipped out of the actors hand, he didn't hit him with the phone on purpose, but they decided to leave it in. Not a bad choice, as it fits Stu.
And apparently, Drew Barrymore petitioned for that to be her role. She initially had the role of Sidney, but she thought it would be a massive shock if she was billed highly and marketed only to die early, sell the idea that anyone could die, and as an homage to Janet Leigh's character in Psycho
The fact that Billy blamed her for his mother leaving and his father not keeping it in his pants really got me. He and Stew saw way to many movies and it drove them crazy
That opening scene of scream is iconic the way this movie subverted the slasher genre at the time was incredible rip to a true legend of horror cinema Wes craven and teh new scream 5 that came out in 2022 was also great I love this franchise even tho I’m not particularly a horror fan
Can’t believe you guys haven’t seen this before. Easily my favorite horror franchise. Tons of Easter eggs for other horror films. For example, Billy saying “we all go a little mad sometimes” is a direct quote from the movie Psycho…the Scary movie franchise is based on this so maybe that’s why it seems so funny. Anyways, hope you all really enjoyed this. Such a classic.
Yeah I like Scary Movie I just hate that people don’t give Scream credit as a franchise just because of Scary movie to me that just never made sense to me but whatever.
They killed the principal as a distraction during the party. Billy kills the principal, hangs him from the goalpost, and when ready, calls Stu's house and tells Randy who announces it to everyone. The background characters leave to go see their hanging principal (for reasons I cannot fathom), and we are left with only main cast.
If you watch it again, you can tell which one is which. Stu is usually the clumsy one. You can also here their distinct grunts whenever they get hit. Also, because it was 2 of them, that's why they were able to pop out seemingly out of nowhere.
There is no canon answer to this, because stuntmen were doing the chase and fight scenes, so listening to their voices is pointless because whatever voice you're hearing is a stuntman, and looking at their movements is pointless too for the same reason. Even Skeet and Matthew have no answer, they are asked this very often and and they said having to disappoint people is very sad lol they only wore the costume once to shoot one scene (the one with Randy alone on the couch watching Halloween). They both did it one after the other, but they don't know which is the performance that ended up in the movie, so effectively there is no way to know whether Billy or Stu did this or that murder. The most probable guess out of all of them is that Billy killed Tatum, because after all Stu was at the party and it would've been much probable for Billy to get into the house from the back door, kill Tatum and get back in from the front door. Then again, we really can't know. It's also been 25 years, I don't think Kevin Williamson himself would be able to give an answer to this.
Fun fact, David Arquette (Dewey) and Courtney Cox (Gale) were married in real life from 1999-2013. They have a kid who just turned 18 I believe. They're still friends and it's so cute how they got together after doing Scream together!
Guys, the killer is called Ghostface, not Scream. And the Ghostface in the bushes and in the grocery store and in the bathroom weren't the real Ghostface. One - Billy and Stu were elsewhere and Two - None of them had a knife. It was just townsfolk being idiots. Also why Tatum didn't think it was the real killer. They were aware people were running around like that.
Rose McGowan could fit through the dog door easily, they had to staple her top to it to make it more believable. I absolutely love Scream it is very meta. Loved the reactions
That line also ended up having one of Rose McGowans' lines with an F bomb cut because to stay under the R rating they were only allowed one F bomb and he said "fucking" in his ad-libbed line, and it was so good they kept it and scrapped Rose's.
Scream is my favorite horror movie so this was fun to watch! A quick note, the reason Stu and Billy were stabbing each other in the end was because they needed to be pretty injured for their plan to work. If they were to frame Sidney's dad, they needed it to seem like they were also attacked and miraculously survived because their DNA was all over the crime scene. But because they're both psychopaths, they got carried away with the knife.
The actor for Dewey is David Arquette, if you noticed for a while Courtney Cox was Courtney Cox-Arquette. Scream is highly meta, it’s aware of horror and slasher genre and tropes so that’s why it seemed so much like a parody, it’s the campiness of things happening like a bad slasher film (clumsy killer, killer in public) but the characters all “KNOWING” what the slasher genre entails - Scary Movie is the parody in correlation to this story but yes definitely some moments where you may question it.
That’s the point of Scream though it’s always had Horror/ Comedy In it, so that’s why when I see people say that Scream is goofy when it has comedy clearly they just don’t know the franchise, plus the realism of Scream is the best thing about this franchise for me as well because it’s not a supernatural killer, it’s a regular human like anybody, who can be anybody and can kill anybody.
Do the sequels, guys. You won’t be sorry. I mean honestly, they found a way to keep it going for 4 more films. Even when they weren’t perfect, or there were those that couldn’t call one or the other their favorite, they were always entertaining. Honestly, some of the cameos just make it worth it for those of you who aren’t die-hard fans. We’ll be here for all of them.
The genius of this movie is that it manages to both spoof and call out slasher movies in a fun and funny way while also being a really great slasher movie at the same time. A lot of the stuff that seems kind of overdone of cliche in this movie at the time were not. This movie has been copied and spoofed so many times at this point but at the time was pretty groundbreaking. No other horror movies had characters that acknowledged seeing other horror movies. Meta, self aware humor is everywhere now but at the time was pretty rare
Fun fact: when gale and dewey are walking into the party, dewey takes a beer from a kid and then laughs and hands it back, the next shot is a different angle of him walking and hes still holding the beer he gave back.
Another reason why Stu was manipulated so easily by Billy was that Stu was dumped by Casey Becker, he was probably still hurt by that and it probably motivated him to go along with Billy's plan even more, knowing that he'd get revenge on the girl that broke his heart and her new bf.
This theory doesn't work, because Stu killed Maureen Prescott together with Billy, one year before the events of the movie. Which means this whole thing had been planned for quite a long time, and also his breakup with Casey feels recent from how Tatum didn't know the details of it, plus Randy asks him "didn't you date Casey" and Stu replied "yeah, for like two seconds". Which means no, he most likely wasn't in love with her and he's just a shithead (affectionate). I also don't think he actually ever gave a shit either for Casey or Tatum because, well, he killed Casey and either killed Tatum too (althought it's kind of hard considering he WAS inside at the party) or allowed Billy to do it and wasn't at all shaken by it. I think Stu is just a bored, sociopathic rich kid with violent tendencies who just found a buddy who was more or less like him and they egged each other on, kinda like like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold did. He has no real motive, other than he just liked killing people and getting away with it. Given how his parents are never seen, it's very probable that he's a spoilt child who never told him no.
Scream is like one of the OG Meta horror movies that definitely understands how to subvert expectations. Especially when it came to brutally killing Drew Barrymore’s character within the first five minutes. The Principal (Henry Winkler) played the Fonz back in Happy Days and Coach Klein in The Waterboy. He was also in Arrested Development and Barry.
when you realize the murderer wasn’t in 2 places at once or in the closet and wasn’t heard by sydney or could somehow do multiple things at the same time, but that it was two killers - mind blowing
Big deal with this movie when it first came out is Drew Barrymore was really the biggest name so she was first hired for Sid an then somewhere along the way Drew said I should play the opening girl because everyone will think I’m safe since she was the biggest an she’s on the poster ect, they fought her playing the opening but she won’t, so in 1996 everyone going to see this in the theaters thinking ok Drew Barrymore will be the final girl so when they gutted her 11 minutes into the movie everyone was thrown off like wtf anything can happen ! Thank you Miss Barrymore 👍🏼
I don't think drew was a bigger name than neve courtney or the fonz...linda blair was in the film as was an arquette whose family was known... come on now...wes was a cameo...he's bigger than drew
It did so much new too for the slasher genre...having 2 killers the phonecall hororr trivia the cell phone cloning hiding in plain sight and giving the killer a voice and mythos that anyone can be the killer and buy the costume mask cause it was already common in the 90's in real life based on the famous scream painting...it wasn't some fantasy monster like freddy jason or michael or chucky
@@razkable Friends was still in the first year when they made the movie and Henry Winkler is a legend but wasn’t as relevant at that time, maybe biggest current star, that’s also how everyone on the film described her including Courteney Cox
The second time Sidney stabbed Billy with the umbrella, Neve Campbell missed the mark and actually jabbed Skeet with it. His little yelp before he falls to the floor was real. And Matthew Lillard's "hit me with the phone, dick" comment wasn't in the script. Skeet actually hit him with the phone.
Skeet always says he didn't do it on purpose, but the fake blood was sticky and he ended up throwing the phone at Matthew's head. And of course every time they mention it Matt's like "yeah sure /s" lololol love those dudes
Ah, Scream- the movie that made a whole generation of people scared of garage doors! 😂 This movie will forever be one of my favorite slasher films because it’s just so tongue in cheek and self-aware. 😘👌 Chefs kiss.
Billy’s fingers were black because they needed his prints lol you press your finger into a black ink stamp and then press them onto a white paper for record keeping
When Randy (Jamie Kennedy) was watching Halloween by himself and telling Jamie Lee Curtis to turn around that he's behind you. Wes wanted to play on that with their real names. It was him telling himself that he Jamie needed to turn around lol. The way Wes Craven creates those little things is amazing and brilliant! - Also, I don't know if you caught on to it but the whole last 20-30mins everything that was happening around the house it was perfectly mirroring with what was happening in Halloween lol.
I subscribed to y’all for euphoria but scream is my absolute favorite franchise 😂😂 can we please get the other 4 sprinkled in somewhere lol I know it won’t be back to back but I would love to see y’all reaction to the rest of them lol
you will have to do the sequels now. scream2 is my fave sequel cause it was written by the same writer, and directed by wes craven and done within a year of the first movie-- so it really feels like an extension of the first movie. the rest of the sequals all came out years after and had a lot of problems behind the scenes with changing the script.
They killed the principal and hung him up on the goal post at school so it would clear out the guests at Stu's party. That's why they called the house to let everyone know what happened.
I love this , I’ve been silently watching you guys for a while . I hope you continue the scream franchise , number 4 is my favourite . It humbles and entertains me to see the way all your different personalities handle things
Scream is one of those movie series where you can't turn off your brain on the first watch. The director and team put little hints throughout the film to throw you off the real killer's trial and hints to tell you who the real killer is. Some examples are a character with the same shoes as the killer, a character walking past a closet door hearing a noise only for the killer to come out of that door a moment later as they have walked past.
They killed the Principal because they needed a reason to get everyone out of the house at the end. And the reason the kids were such assholes about it is because the 2 kids he just expelled were at the party, so they hated him, and so they were thrilled he was dead, and they hyped their friends up to go with them. Every detail in this movie matters, and that's why I love it so much. Ghostface parading around in costume throughout the day is solely a tribute to Michael Myers walking around in broad daylight in his costume.
Randy's my favorite of the movies, Noah from the TV Show is based off Randy being the movie buff awkward geek. Funny, during the TV scene with Randy, when he was saying Jamie turn around, it was so meta because Randy's actor's name is Jamie Kennedy.
the Scream mask isn't designed to be scary...it is simplistic...the costume is sold everywhere...it's hard to trace. Billy and Stu stabbed each other because they wanted to make it look like they were victims.
One of the ironies that almost no one brings up in the Scream films is that despite Sidney being one of the main characters, she broke one of the most important rules of the genre: to NEVER have sex before marriage. Usually main characters do not do that and very few gets away with that kind of stuff. But I suppose you can argue that was that the point since they're trying to spoof on those ideas.
almost every movie you reacted to i remember watching and remembered the details of the movies vividly but this one was the first where I completely forgot important scenes and a lot of the plot so it was fun to refresh. truly a classic, I forgot how good it was. i wanna have a scream movie marathon with my friends next Halloween!
Fun Fact: I think i heard this somewhere so u might want to actually check the facts but the second time billy was stabbed with the umbrella the reaction was real. The actor who plays Sydney missed the chest pad and actually stabbed him in his shoulder.
Dude on the left, are you Haley Joel Osment?? You look exactly like him omg. Anyway this movie is a blast. Absolutely love everything about it, love how funny and legit upsetting it is at the same time. I also love how Ghostface is scary and menacing, but he's also a goof and legitimately very funny to look at. Wanna read a fun fact? People have been theorizing about whether Billy or Stu were doing one murder or another and there are working theories on it, but stunt people were behind the mask at all times so it was neither Skeet Ulrich nor Matthew Lillard, however both actors did one scene as Ghostface and it's the one where Randy's watching Halloween alone in the living room and Ghostface comes behind him. Since both of them did the scene in the costume one after the other, though, they don't know who ended up being the one in the movie, and they don't know who killed who. Also, Stu was meant to be back for Scream 3, he was the final villain in the script and his whole thing would've been him manipulating a bunch of school kids from jail to target Sidney. Matthew Lillard said he got paid in advance to come back, too. That script was the definifive one until 3 weeks before filming, when they changed it because Columbine happened and Paramount thought it would hit too close to home and they rewrote the entire script so that it wouldn't happen in a school. Which means Stu IS alive because if a way to bring him back for 3 was found, then it's still valid now and he was just not used for 3 or the next movies. Matthew Lillard sure does want to be back and he's been campaigning to be put in one of the sequels, and the writer for 6 (Guy Busick) is a big fan of Stu's and isn't outright denying it, which means it's possible for Stu to pup back up in one of the sequels. And also, in the garage door scene, Rose McGowan DID fit into the doggy door, so she had to really pretend like she couldn't get through it, because irl she absolutely could. Girl was really tiny. lol
I really hope you guys react to the rest. They make for pretty popular reaction videos, and they’re all really good. Scream 4 is my personal favorite, but it’s always cool to see which is everyone’s favorite. Please watch them!!!! 😭
Was nice watching you react to my favorite movie and franchise! I love Scream over other slasher movies because it's realistic. The others usually have supernatural killers. That's not scary to me. Hope you guys continue the franchise!
the reason the principle killing felt so random is cause it actually wasn't originally in the movie, there was actually no killings from the opening scene till the end party so the studio wanted there to be at least another mid way through the movie so they put that in
Stu was in love with Billy. Many people have noticed a homosexual subtext between Stu and Billy. That is the whole reason why the character Ray is gay in "Scary Movie".
not the biggest fan of horror much anymore, but you know i gotta give y'all that click, like, and comment just for being an awesome and genuine channel
billy and stu were lowkey dumb for stabbing each other but smart at the same time. if the cops showed up at the house that a serial killer was at and billy and stu were the only ones not injured at all, they’d be the first suspects. them stabbing each other made it seem like they were also attacked by ghost face and survived.
It's always cringey when you hear new Scream viewers bring up Scary Movie within the first 5 minutes. SM is okay but it in no way is as good as Scream. Well, let's see if these boys can appreciate greatness.
The 3 killer reveal with doofy is way better than any twist in the scream franchise...its a compliment...people say dewey is hard to take serious due to that film a comedy mind you and satire but it was all an act in scary movie...they show moments where he gave away his hand and acted sus....
the janitor in the Freddy Kruger sweater was Wes craven the director of both films. also the principal was Henry Winkler idk what you've seen him in but I mostly know him from happy days and barry
I’m watching now But welcome to my favorite horror franchise!!! It’s so good on how it is a satire of the genre while still being an actual horror movie
In real life, the actress who played Tatum could fit through the cat-door. Also, they had to cut a lot out of the first boyfriend Steven's death to get it down from a NC-17 rating. I really like that that Scream is just two teenage boys so "he" isn't really a great killer.
Yeah. But doesn't that kinda make it so creepy? Like these are just two kids who barely know who they are, and the one thing they're really into doing is killing people even while still being goofy and childish.
I think they killed the principal because they were using him as a way to get most people to leave the party. They needed those people there for a while as witnesses and then wanted them out so that they could carry out their end game plan.
Fun facts: The guy playing Kenny the cameraman is W. Earl Brown the voice actor for Bill in The Last of Us and the telephone voice is legendary voice actor Roger Jackson ie Mass Effect, Red Dead 2 and Dishonoured amongst hundreds of others.
One of my fav films omg!! Loved this reaction / commentary - regarding Scream 2, the original (surviving cast) do come back - personally I think it’s a pretty good sequel to an already great film. Hope you guys think about watching it some time!
so it was stu calling at tatums house while billy was in jail and he said "Surprise Sidney" Just like at the party when he says it again during the reveal
I don’t know how old you guys are, but growing up in the 90s you had to watch out for garage doors. There were children in the 80s(I think?)that were killed bc there weren’t any safety features unfortunately. They really could hurt people so it’s realistic that it could lift her. When I was a kid, we used to hold onto the door as it went up bc it was fun. But overall, it’s unrealistic bc of the safety features were available then. I’m glad you guys enjoyed this movie! It’s my favorite slasher movie 🍿 The rest are really good. I haven’t seen the 5th one though
All this is reminding me of Halloween. Laurie does Scream really good lol. Laurie is definitely worthy of being called She's the man lol. But once Michael was shot off balcony he's like Gone girl lol. Love these whodunit movies and love meta movies so these scream movies always awesome lol
This is an old video so I’m late but I hope y’all looked into the lore of this movie, cause it’s arguably the best part. The fact that this movie was the ‘OG’ ‘scary movie’ movie. That’s what they were going to call it because it was supposed to be a spoof and it is but they decided to make it more meta by basically not telling anyone that it’s a spoof. Also the fact that this movie is based on real murders and then after the release some kids went and recreated the movie. Anyway that’s just some of it. I’m just not realizing that this is such a long winded and probably useless comment bc this video is a year old and no one will read it but if you do, idk look into it if your into it? I’m sorry
52:50 not every person seen in the costume were stu or billy. remember people were dressing up as ghostface - it was a popular phenomena going on in a small town.
You guys have to watch the whole scream franchise now!!! Scream is the best most meta franchise that’s been able to last almost 30 years with the last 2 being 10 years apart each!! Scream is so self aware and every movie is like a who done it and keeps you guessing and also never fails to get you with a jump scare.

Also, apparently the prop master forgot to unplug the phone for that scene, so Drew actually called 911 and they received multiple calls from her screaming. lol
Also, Courtney Cox and David Arquette started dating with this movie, and I think they went on until 3.
I believe Matthew Lillards “peer pressure” and “mom and dad are gonna be so mad” were improvised
His final words and Sidney’s response were ad libbed too.
also the "you hit me with the phone...dick!" was a mistake they left in
@@happywebster7151 Because the phone slipped out of the actors hand, he didn't hit him with the phone on purpose, but they decided to leave it in. Not a bad choice, as it fits Stu.
@@Wellnseddich one of my favorite parts :)
"You fuckin hit me with the phone, dick!"
The opening to the original Scream is so good, Drew Barrymore's performance was awesome.
I like the feeling that she could of lived if blank like in real life...she had chances
@@razkable cool
If you pay attention Drew Barrymore didn't age at all.
Drew Barrymore Shocked everyone, because we all thought she was gonna be in the movie longer than 8 minutes
12 minutes
THE MOST ICONIC MINUTES OF MY LIFE!!!!!
@@claualexis1737 Scream 1 is the best
And apparently, Drew Barrymore petitioned for that to be her role. She initially had the role of Sidney, but she thought it would be a massive shock if she was billed highly and marketed only to die early, sell the idea that anyone could die, and as an homage to Janet Leigh's character in Psycho
@@xtronvultron4811 yes, but the sequels were not far behind, especially scream 6
You need to know that the guy dressed as Freddy Krueger is the director Wes Craven. He directed A Nightmare on Elm Street.
And he was the director for this movie too ofc
He wore it too. That movie was totally his creation.
Even Skeet and Matthew have no answer, they are asked this very often and and they said having to disappoint people is very sad lol
they only wore the costume once to shoot one scene (the one with Randy alone on the couch watching Halloween).
I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but, Stu's motivation was that was deranged sure, but also in love with Billy
This. The writer has stated they were inspired by Leopold and Loeb and were gay, though Stu was far more in love and thus easily manipulated by Billy.
gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
All you would have to do is put your arms through first and any girl that isn't over weight should fit through that huge door...
One of my favorite movies... when Billy hit Stu with the phone Skeet did it on accident so Matthews line was 100% genuine
When Neve hit skeet with the umbrella she missed the pad and hit him where’s he’s had surgery at a few times and actually hurt him in that scene
You definitely need to do all the sequels -- they are an integral part of the story and they all keep some core characters. :)
Also PLEASE watch the next 4 since the 5th one just came out 😁
I don't think drew was a bigger name than neve courtney or the fonz...linda blair was in the film as was an arquette whose family was known... come on now...wes was a cameo...he's bigger than drew
@@razkable the year it was made? She definitely was the best known among the target audience.
Zuff saying at 29:15 “oh i know that” knowing damn well he probably heard it from tiktok😭
This is a movie that’s super meta about horror films. That is its whole appeal. It revitalized the horror genre in the 90s.
I love the fact that there is no supernatural killer in this movie
Ah, Scream- the movie that made a whole generation of people scared of garage doors! 😂 This movie will forever be one of my favorite slasher films because it’s just so tongue in cheek and self-aware. 😘👌 Chefs kiss.
Billy’s fingers were black because they needed his prints lol you press your finger into a black ink stamp and then press them onto a white paper for record keeping
Now y’all have to watch the other 4 movies those are the rules.
Now you gotta do the sequels!!!! 😱
They’re all really good in their own way and the surviving cast returns each time.
Guys ghostface is a teenager with no plans of course is clumsy
“Oh Seinfeld” 😂😂😂😂 that was so funny to me 💀 but great movie reaction as always!
The principal is played by Henry Winkler, who used to play Fonzie on Happy Days and now plays the acting teacher on Barry.
Scream has one of the most iconic opening scenes in my opinion
I subscribed to y’all for euphoria but scream is my absolute favorite franchise 😂😂 can we please get the other 4 sprinkled in somewhere lol I know it won’t be back to back but I would love to see y’all reaction to the rest of them lol
you guys need to do all 5 scream movies!
The man who was dressing as Freddy is the legendary director Wes Craven
you will have to do the sequels now. scream2 is my fave sequel cause it was written by the same writer, and directed by wes craven and done within a year of the first movie-- so it really feels like an extension of the first movie. the rest of the sequals all came out years after and had a lot of problems behind the scenes with changing the script.
Eh I personally think 4 is still the best sequel
@@daltonio6001 Scream 2 for me
personally i didn't like any of the sequels except the most recent one. but nothing could ever beat the original
They killed the principal and hung him up on the goal post at school so it would clear out the guests at Stu's party. That's why they called the house to let everyone know what happened.
Did we ever find out who told Randy about Himbry? Like who made the call?
@@tgardner11 it was Stu who had just left to “go get beer”. He probably used the voice modulator so no one would know it was him.
I love how everyone is so sad when poor Tatum dies.
omg! i love the scream franchise, nice to see u guys react to the original
Randy's my favorite of the movies, Noah from the TV Show is based off Randy being the movie buff awkward geek. Funny, during the TV scene with Randy, when he was saying Jamie turn around, it was so meta because Randy's actor's name is Jamie Kennedy.
You guys need to react to this whole franchise, the movies are full of shocking moments amazing to be reacted 😂❤
That was actually Wes Craven in the Kruger outfit, btw ♥️
the Scream mask isn't designed to be scary...it is simplistic...the costume is sold everywhere...it's hard to trace.
Billy and Stu stabbed each other because they wanted to make it look like they were victims.
Wes Craven is the director of Scream and Nightmare on Elm Street and he also was the one playing Freddie in the school hallway in Scream .
*Scene shows exactly how kill is playing out*
Zuff: I dont see how this is playing out
Fun Fact: I think i heard this somewhere so u might want to actually check the facts but the second time billy was stabbed with the umbrella the reaction was real. The actor who plays Sydney missed the chest pad and actually stabbed him in his shoulder.
Ouch, I didn’t know that one.
@@Ivy94F yea it’s crazy right!
Girl was really tiny. lol
Scream is such Classic. One of my favorite horror movies of all time.
I really hope you guys react to the rest. They make for pretty popular reaction videos, and they’re all really good. Scream 4 is my personal favorite, but it’s always cool to see which is everyone’s favorite. Please watch them!!!! 😭
the guy on the left is adorable lol.
Was nice watching you react to my favorite movie and franchise! I love Scream over other slasher movies because it's realistic. The others usually have supernatural killers. That's not scary to me. Hope you guys continue the franchise!
The Principal was the Fonz in Happy Days. He was also in a bunch of Adam Sandler movies.
He was a director in the 80's and 90's as well
And he's been in HBO's Barry recently. Did a great job there too.
The guy who played the janitor, "Fred," was Wes Craven.
the reason the principle killing felt so random is cause it actually wasn't originally in the movie, there was actually no killings from the opening scene till the end party so the studio wanted there to be at least another mid way through the movie so they put that in
stu my beloved
An all time classic! Hope you guys watch the sequels eventually too
In real life, the actress who played Tatum could fit through the cat-door.
10:42 “Ohhhhh! Seinfeld!!!!” Haha. That was great
Fun facts: The guy playing Kenny the cameraman is W.
The fact that Dewey and Gale were together in real life and married too, makes their love story in the movie really better and cute.
Take it back, WE LOVE GAIL and yes it’s Courtney Cox lmao
I know right I was dead at the lack of Courtney fox recognition😂 also guys dewy was Courtney’s husband in real life and was phoebes stalker on friends
*The INK on his fingers is stains from when the police station ran his fingerprints into the system lol!* 😂😂
Fear (1996)
Demolition Man (1993)
Point Break (1991)
Cyborg (1989)
Evil Dead (1981)
Ghostface is only clumsy when Stu is under the mask
You guys have to watch the whole scream franchise now!!! Scream is the best most meta franchise that’s been able to last almost 30 years with the last 2 being 10 years apart each!! Scream is so self aware and every movie is like a who done it and keeps you guessing and also never fails to get you with a jump scare.
Gotta watch this with a 90s frame of reference. I was bornmid 90s this is my comfort film
