Nah, Malenia water fowl is clearly telegraphed and you need to time it. The 2nd Laxasia phase is just seizures thrown at you so you can't see her telegraphs
Laxasia is harder than Melania imo, her attacks are ridiculous and barely telegraphed, she might be one of my the hardest souls bosses I've seen and I've done ds1-3 demon souls, bloodbourne and elden ring base and dlc. All from soft games and she seems probably top 3 maybe
I guess the devs looked at Nameless King and Malenia and thought yes that but with lightning and attacks that have no recovery windows because our bosses don’t have to worry about stamina.
I fell in love with acid weapons like the acidic crystal spear bc it does so much damage on a lot of the late game bosses like Laxasia, Simon Manus, and both black rabbit brotherhood fights.
I used the acidic crystal spear also! But I would but the salamander blade on the spear handle depending on which type of enemies I was fighting...I wiped the whole game with that!
The lies of P gods have blessed me! I swear to god right after this video I attempted to fight her again and when I tell you she got absolutely DEMOLISHED. She (for some reason) aggro’d on my spectre the whole time giving me unlimited free hits, including second phase. Needless to say, with little to no effort, I finished her once and for all. I’m speechless…
The way I used to beat her is shield poking: basically, just put up your Aegis shield when she's close and press R1. In that way, you can attack and defend simultaneously and you can keep your HP high. It's gonna need a huge amount of legion and stamina but definitely worth it
I beat her on my third or fourth attempt, but I think she's easier on a strength/motivity build. I broke her shield quickly and just parried like crazy on the second phase and threw shotputs for the stagger. You honestly made the game harder for yourself without the throwables, but I respect it.
I think some people still haven't figured out how damn powerful the throwables are! I have to purposely limit myself with them because you can cheese the whole game with them!
