Well, I can't wait to change my Uke strings and condition it. I was so stressed the last time I changed strings. Simply because I was winging it! You are so helpful, Thanks!

Great tutorial. Very clear. I'm no longer a string-changing virgin and it all went very smoothly thanks to this video. I'm certainly glad I took your advice and got a string winder - I can see it would have been a much longer and more tedious job without one

The best tutorial for changing strings! Thank you for such detailed instructions. I will follow this tutorial when my turn comes and hopefully I will be confident enough to do this myself!

Kevin thank you for your thoroughness. This was extremely helpful. We used Aguila Sugar strings so don’t have the length of the Worth strings. Marco, one of your colleagues, cuts Worth brown strings in half as they make two sets for tenor ukes. Is the folding in the tail end of the strings a guitar trick as we didn’t see anyone else do that. Our strings came too short to make that easy; maybe next time. Thanks again. My wife and I enjoy your teaching and lessons immensely. 🍻

Nice, so good to see a demo on this. I might be brave enough to try it now.

Any chance you have experience changing strings with a different style of bridge? One of mine has these knobs rather than the holes. Thanks for this one too though! Extremely helpful!

    Hello Kevin,
Can you please let me know when you replace a string on a baritone uku, as for example, we suppose the 'D' string, when tighting, do I need to meet the first showing 'D' on the Tuner? I other words, how tight /pulled the string must be?? First D second D ? I would appreciate your feedback. Greetings from Switzerland.

Good tutorial but I would have liked to have seen you show some alternative bridge ties as not all ukuleles have A Tie-Bar Bridge.

Just wondering if it is necessary to tuck the ends of the gce strings in under that a, is purely cosmetic or what purpose does it do , 🤙

I feel that it helps from catching on your shirt while strumming and it does look better in my opinion. For more learning resources such as practice tracks, song sheets, and exclusive content, drop by the AllForUke community site and have a look around. All the best - Kevin | allforuke.com

I nearly got a heart attack hearing the sound effect when you fast forwarded. Twice. It sounded like the string snapped.

Basic question but... how do you know when it’s « time to change your strings »?!? 😂 I mean, if none of them is broken , obviously! 😜
