Wow bud what a pickup that was. Loved seeing all the different pcbs come out. Twin cobra what a game that is. Im hoping you got tecmo world Cup 90 there 🤣🤞 love the pcb roulette idea. Cant wait for that. Soon as your monitor is sorted me and mat are there..... we will bring plenty of 20ps 🤣
Thank you for the heads up on the post. I was in the group but would probably have missed it was local if you hadn't tagged me. Some great games in there, 2x Twin Cobra potentially. I'll get things sorted soon and sort a date for a meet up down here, I'll put them of free play but £5 entry. 😂
Easy rule of thumb for identifying boots. In most cases, originals have the key space etched out on the connector, but boots are usually just a straight connector with no cutout
Wow Fantastic pickups Craig, A good selection of games too. Your have so much fun going through that lot. I did not know that about World rally I’ll have to check ours is ok. Hope you can find room for them all and look forward to future videos on them. Enjoyed that 😎👍
Thanks, it was the best PCB pickup I've managed to get. Going to store the originals in some boxes I think, then the bigger bootlegs in bubble wrap. I bought my Rally as a working PCB, it boots and plays but then the car goes crazy after a few corners, never know it might not be on all of them.
That shelf behind your head is setting my OCD alarm jangling, I'm hurtling over at incredible speeds to fix it 🤣. Maybe build a rack to store them on edge, you can label the rack up then as you go through them. Look forward to seeing you bring these back to life mate.
That shelf has done my head in, it was fine at first then started to dip so I added one extra bracket, then the other side started dipping so I have the extra bracket to put up to sort it. I've moved most of my boxed consoles off a big shelf to store these, they are all wrapped at the moment in the current wrap but I'm looking to get the antistatic bubble wrap and then possibly plain pizza boxes with edge labels but that will need another shelf solution.
I think I'll leave that adapter for just my MVS and build my own test rig which will be a bit more reliable. Can't wait to get stuck in to testing though. Cheers for watching.
What an amazing haul. I'm keen to get an arcade cab or cabs in the next 12 months.... preferably a Candy Can. Itd be perfection to get Double Dragon with it. My favourite arcade game. Nice one👍👍
I'll tag you in any I see any cabs for sale. If this one works I'll have my bootleg available, apparently the bootleg is actually better and doesn't suffer from slow down which the original can do!
Great to see those. It's something I'd like to get into too. I bought a street fighter bootleg a few years ago to look at, and a cheap supergun, but it's still sat in the cupboard of doom waiting 👍
I'm so glad you have a cupboard of doom - I have so many things I'd love to do, I'd just need to give up work and do it full time, problem is the things I want to do are for myself and wouldn't make me any income.
That's the problem 😄 Thankfully, I haven't had much by way of a quiet patch. Everything of my own though is having to wait. I have loads of Boombox's I need to work on too. It's just having the time to do so. I want to do good work for people and provide a good service, so like to take the extra time to do so.
Cheers Ed. Glad it was informative too. Got a few bits to order in, think I'll test a few at a time in a video or maybe even a livestream could be fun.
@@RetroEdUK cool. Will see what evenings I can do and do a post to let others know. Watched your game room corner tour earlier on the TV, such a great collection and range in the figures too. Will go back to it and comment in a bit.
Yeah some great games, fingers crossed some are working. I had a good chat with the daughter and came to a good price per untested board - my bank account doesn't like me at the moment but still happy with what I paid. I won't post how much as you know how these things are, someone will have an opinion either way. She did say my offer was above many low ball offers she'd had messaged and picking up was preference too due to the size. The majority were interested in the MVS carts and not the jamma boards.
@@GoodwinsPlace Meh id just say what i paid for it i dont really see the issue tbh even if you are going to fix and flip some of the dupes who cares really?
@@DaveRepairs no original pac-man but a Namco Pac-Man compendium which I can't find anything about, unless it's the one with PAC as well as Dig Dug and others, I'll try and boot it to see what it is.

I'm in! 20ps galore!
I used to save my 20ps in High School to play Fuseball 🤣

Great pickup! Plenty of goodies there! You'll enjoy testing those 👍

Sorry only just seen this comment. Lots of dusty hadoken sneezes. 😂

Yeah I can't wait to get testing them. Will have to find a way to do them one at a time without making them hours long.
Great pick up Craig!, looking forward to seeing all the testing with that really handy, Ali Express adapter.

What a great pick up, Can't wait for you to test the boards especially the originals, Think you're onto a winner with this one mate
Thank you for watching. I hope I get a good working bunch out of this. I think those bootlegs are going to be the ones that will cause most issues.
Awesome videos as always . I find this so interesting
Cheers mate, I was pleased with my small collection, this has taken it to another level.
Nicely done! Was a fun watch and I certainly learnt a fair bit about arcade boards. Fingers crossed for the testing stage 🤞

hey mister goodwin, long time no see - nice pickup - irem major title 2 is good pickup as they can be converted to Rtype.
