If ever a character was saved by the manga continuation. When it was revealed he was a separate entity from satan his whole arc seemed pointless. Time has only helped this dimond shine gold.
It was thrilling to see his goal was believing that wrestlers had grown weak and that he sought to punish them for their inability to grow, and only when Kinnikuman never gave up did he go "Maybe there is some hope after all." Then the manga continuation took place with the True Perfect Chojin and we got to see his 100% drive in life attain a "similar" power to Kinnikuman's burning inner strength, then finally showcase his 100% Perfect Hell's Guillotine against the only opponent who warranted it: The Man. The best part? When we finally see The Man after he is beaten by the technique? *He's Smiling.* He finally got to see the perfected technique that could beat even him. Of course, there is then the reveal that Silverman was HARDLY the peaceful brother the legends make him out to be and his Arrogant Spark was a horrible Sure Kill technique.
Silverman loves peace, but won't hesitate to kill someone for the sake of it, he's still leagues better than his brother because he won't kill you for making a mistake.
@@romanov3937 Right, after all, Silverman and Goldman ended their fight by decapitating each other, meaning that only their ideals were different, not so much the methods.
One of the best things about the 2011 continuation is how much charisma Goldman aka Akuma Shogun has. It makes sense why he's the leader of the Devil Choujins and why they all chose to following him beyond "to get stronger". He might be ruthless but he genuinely believes in his underlings and hopes for them to surpass himself just like how initially The Man hoped Goldman would surpass him. I REALLY hope that if not the current arc but later we'd see him active again and kicking some awesome ass, perhaps even in a tag team alongside one of his Devil Choujins or maybe even his old ally Justiceman?

thanks to the revival series this guy went from a mustache twirling vilain in the OG to a very compelling anti-hero in the 2011 continuation, best character transformation i've seen in a while
