I wrote “It’s Easy” as an innocent thought about war viewed from a child’s perspective - unable to comprehend why there are wars to begin with and how “easy” it could be to avoid them. This is how I felt when I was a child and war started in my native country (Bosnia & Herzegovina) - I just couldn’t understand “why”. Since the new album began taking shape when the war in Ukraine started, I knew that I wanted to somehow associate this song with what was going on in Ukraine. This has been an important place for Arms and Sleepers over the last 12 years, having toured there almost every year since 2011. I wanted to go back to Ukraine as soon as possible to return the support that I have been shown for over a decade. I decided to go in October 2023 and play free concerts, in the hope that this could be a small piece of relief amongst the daily stress and trauma of war. We filmed the experience and made it into this video for “It’s Easy”.

Yesterday I had the fortune that I saw Arms and Sleepers live, and whoa. I mostly listen dark metal genres, punk and every weird stuff coming out from the local underground but I must say I was amazed. I never heard such positive full electronic music maybe ever. I had no idea who A&S was before, my wife brought me to the gig and let's just say we ended up with 2 new vinyl.
