- This is the video of EBE, track 9 in Sola Allyson's 7th Album, IMUSE, released for free in 2018. It is a song of supplication that helps the soul to pray even when there is no word as it could be sometimes in life.
I heard this song for the first time yesterday, as my husband and I were walking to the bank from our home in Brighton UK. I had my AirPods on and was listening to your songs when "Ebe" came up. I started singing and crying without shame. My husband just held my hand saying nothing as we kept walking (about a mile walk). I used to lead worship and a choir in England until six years ago and some of the attacks from certain sources were profound! The Lord would give me songs in my dreams and some of the melodies were so perfectly formed that I used to think I must have heard them from somewhere. So as not to plagiarise, I would investigate the melodies. However, every avenue I turned to seeking help to have these songs developed were always forcibly shut. After a while, I began to believe that the Lord was not calling me in this way. Eventually I stopped trying! When I heard Ebe, it so resonate with my spirit that I went online and chanced upon you performing it live and heard your testimony! When the Lord speaks a song to your spirit through your dreams, it stands out above most songs and this incredible song is exactly that. I could listen to it over and over again because for me it is awakening my soul to sing again! Yoruba language is not as sweet in my mouth anymore (I have been in England too long - 33 years!) BUT I know that the Lord is awakening my soul to sing again in both my mother and adopted tongues (Yoruba and English). Thank you Sola, may God continue to anoint and imbue you with more Holy Spirit inspiring songs, through your dreams and any other way He chooses! Please pray for me, I know the Lord is awakening my soul again to sing but I don't know how yet!
The Lord who has given the dream and the songs will help you with all you need to make it a reality.

Sis Sola, my sister in Christ, I had been listening to EBE for days and nights. I told my three daughters that this song stirred my spirit, but I didn't know why, but it would be life-changing and that I trusted God to reveal it to me in His timing. A few hours later, I received a call that my 100-year-old mother was in the hospital. She was hemorrhaging and lost so much blood. She was in shock and the doctors couldn't find her blood pressure, even after blood transfusions. The doctor called the family and summoned us to come immediately because they didn't expect her to live. I live 2 hours away, so I dropped everything and was heading out. About 20 minutes later, we got a second call that she was back to normal. No stroke or aftereffects; everything is back to normal! Then I knew that God sent me this song not only to encourage me, but to remind me of His Word: “I am God, I am Who I am.” He has all power in His hands. He is the receiver of our supplications. He raised from death, Lazarus and Jairus's daughter thousands of years ago. On January 23rd, 2023, He did the same for My mother, Blanche Sumpter. HALLELUJAH!! Who wouldn't serve a God like this? After being kept three days for observation, my mother returned home and is doing fine. My faith in God has gotten deeper and He has drawn me closer to Him. Learning more each day.
This song, EBE, was/is such an inspiration to me. I’m African American and don’t speak Yoruba, but this song blessed my soul so deeply before I found the English translation. The translation only put words to what I had already received from the Holy Spirit. I just had to let you know that the Lord is using you to bless worldwide. It was not by chance that I received your song/prayer/plea, it was heavenly intervention. This reminds me of when the Apostles on the day of Pentecost, were all speaking in different languages as the Holy Spirit came upon them, but the people that had gathered, each understood in his own language. The Holy Spirit trusted you enough to speak through you to bless me. I will not forget this experience.
Bless you Sis Sola! I listen to EBE, IMOLE, CHILD, and MIMO daily. I sing in Yoruba because I want to get into heaven, and you said that the gatekeeper in heaven will speak Yoruba.
