@jacobrose4972 Bro same, I'm not even a tank player, I mostly play support and dps but back in the day I used to love off tanking playing either zar, hog, sig, ball. I miss that so much, ow2 tank just isn't the same without another tank to synergize with. At least not in high elo.
I don't hate overwatch 2, but there are little things I miss like playing on Temple of anupis and complaining whenever I got Temple of Anubis

@@NomporuI prefer 5v5. It just makes ow less of a tank busting game. But if blizzard keeps adding back cc, then just give us 6v6 back.
@@Nomporu Only DPS players like ow1 more. Tank sucked on top of being boring and supports had way too much to do. Add on 2cp and way more cc and you can see it was worse.
@@vgrants1717 Tank was way more fun that it is now. Playing zarya with a rein by your side is an unmatched feeling. Support was also more skillful and felt more fun. The support regen allows people to get away with terrible positioning now. Dps was arguably worse back then bcuz you had 2 tanks to get through in order to kill their supports.

@@ItzCatveirayou can’t change the source for ow, dmg or workshop, so yes he can be moved, same with doom, you can’t remove the fact that he hits multiple enemies with punch

The nostalgia omg. When Doom used to be a DPS, Orisa had a deployable shield, bastion couldn’t move in turret form and his ult was a tank, and when Cassidy was still McCree and had his flashbang!! Those were such good times.

ow1 before doomfist was peak i hated him in ow1 i know a lot of others did as well having stuns free get away and 3 second cool downs on everything with a one hit plus amour was beyond dumb. but him in ow1 is still a better game than ow 2.
They should really add a 6v6 arcade mode

so goats and double shield werent issues? just sayin. double shield was so abysmal to play and i dont know where you got the idea that it wasnt a huge issue, but they couldnt make more shield breakers without killing those heroes with shields

OW2 instead of double shields you have immortal tanks that don't die instead. I wonder why that is 😩
@@rerpoit7084goats was fixed with role lock, ow2 had nothing to do with that, double shield was annoying but most of time you could just walk through the shields, or hack the people with the shields, or go a dive character and end the supports, or go bastion and shred the shields. Ow1 had less problems.
Ow2 has several bad characters with no place anymore, zenyatta is busted, mcree is just his old self but his flash has no range and has more damage and damage resistance, widow and hanzo are far more impactful to the point where the meta revolved around them entirely and the nerfs barely change anything, doom has to do 6x the work to get the same result as the other tanks, suzu is still broken, and there’s so much more. Overwatch needed far more changes to accommodate 5v5 and we’re 5 seasons in yet still fixing the problems that should have been fixed from the start.
Overwatch 1 was better than Overwatch 2.

Literally same. When i had my daughter 3 years ago and free time disappeared my bro said to me 'dont worry about playing overwatch again though it'll last for ages, games like that usually do'. But of course now by the time ive actually got time to play it again it doesnt even exist anymore 🙃

Going from 6v6 to 5v5 opened up a whole can of worms bc OW1 was literally built on the basis of 6v6 tanks like Dva winston and ball got it the worst since they want to mobile not stuck defending the team

5v5 is the best thing that happened to ow2. Too many bronze shitters apparently forgot playing against double shields and deathball comps. 🤣🤣
@@shutup11337 that's debatable. 1 person died in a 6v6 there's still a chance. if someone dies in a 5v5; there's just about no coming back.

@@ItzCatveira Considering how *big* Bastion is and how he was literally designed around it in OW1, I kinda disagree.
I mean, without it, he'd need a full on *pocket* just to function. Possibly two if the enemy focuses him enough. Putting a drain on the team's resources and forcing at least one of your supports to healbot.
And all this just for one measly cooldown, which isn't even that good in higher ranks.

I miss OW1’s skin buying. You didn’t need to get an entirely different kind of currency to get a skin, there wasn’t a battlepass and it was just more streamlined

Many of us miss 6v6. The whole double shield meta coulda have been addressed in various ways before deleting the slot. The stuns have also been mostly addressed relative to back then, so 6v6 would be so much more enjoyable than... BULLY THEIR ONLY TANK! Or encourage this constant counter-pick playstyle that's honestly hurt the game so much. It's one thing to try and counter, it's another to be back and forth on a roundabout taking turns chasing one another with the swaps.

I believe they still have all those old abilites saved and they are not entirely deleted. I mean in the new prop hunt gamemode kiriko literally has ow1 cassidy flashbang, few years ago hanzo storm arrows replaced his scatter arrows but later in an april fools patch they gave them back, more time has passed and they added scatter effect to storm arrows. I would give so much to play old doomfist

I miss OW1. Even though it was seen as dead I still loved every second of it.
OW1 was a great game at the point Ana and Sombra had been added. Then it started a slow and painful death. OW2 is the unholy resurrection.

Never played Overwatch 1 only joined in this year less than 3 weeks ago on Overwatch 2. The 6 v 6 makes it look a lot more free-flowing in OW2 teamfights feel so intense with no room to breathe but tbh just from a little look it seems less stressful, and more room to play around having fun in OW1.
Definitely the happiest "Oh my god I can't move" of all time.

HI Bellaboo! I love your channel and I have just 3 questions for you! I play overwatch and these questions have made me question the game. And my play-style
1. Does Zens discord orb work on other hero’s? So does the orb of discord goes on let’s say- Mcree then will zens teammates have the discord buff that zen does?
2. What’s the best way to grind competitive? This one’s straight forward just asking how should I grind competitive to try and get golden weapons?
3. I unlocked both JunkerQueen and sojourn. And I just need kiriko life weaver and rammantra Which hero should I grind for?
1. When zen discords a target, the target takes 25% more damage from ALL sources, not just zen.
2. There isn’t really a “best way”, just stay on the grind, climb ranks, do your best, and hope for the best.
3. lifeweaver is definitely the worst character out of those three, I’d tell you to just go for all of them, but if you need an order I’d try for ramattra or kiriko first, since her kit is really useful against specific characters.

@@user-zn3ok3ic3l there’s no “better” role, it’s all just based on what you want to play, and what you find the most fun. Same with characters, minus the no better part. Play whoever and whatever you like, the goal is to have fun. I personally like playing tank more than other roles
Hello user. Unsure if Bella will respond in shorts. I know for sure for Q1. shell say yea. Zen discord will give ur teammates the buff. Discord is actually just a debuff for the discorded target, amplifying all damage taken.
For Q2, I'd say that grinding comp for gold weapons is fairly straightforward. To ensure you get the most points, Id say pick a role you feel comfortable in learning/improving in, and grind that one role. The higher ur rank, the more points u get. Start by increasing the skill of one role. Up to you if you feel you want to max out points by grinding the role to ur highest potential, or to stabilize all roles around the same skill level. Either way, playing the game, and winning games will get you points to unlock gold weapons. Grind, but do not have a bad time doing so. It’s ok to take a break from time to time. Fatigue is real. Sleep well and hydrate. Health is a major factor in improving.
And for Q3, personally I would unlock either Kiri or Ram. Weaver needs maybe a slight adjustment for him to feel more competitive than the other two options. And weaver also has a larger learning curve to get maximum value out of his terrain manipulation and repositioning. Kiri has multiple escape tools at the click of a button, an amazing ult, and can duel dps quite well. Ram is the do all tank. Fits well in any comp and is always ok to start any match with and u can adjust accordingly. His ult is also incredible. Ram is super meta rn. Ultimately, it’s up to u, but Id go Ram because the learning curve is lower than the others and you can maximize his carry potential solo. Bella will most likely have a different answer. But I know she like tank. More options is always a positive. GOOD LUCK IN UR GAMES!!
@@user-zn3ok3ic3l I would say dps is the hardest out of the 3, so I would suggest playing tank or support, whatever you prefer. You can look at tier lists made recently for this season to see who is good, or you can play who you find enjoyable like justaguy said.
orisa at one point had a 900 health shield on a 6 second cooldown. i climbed from plat to masters with that version of her in 2 weeks, it was nuts

I played Ow1 when I was like 7 years old and back then... I'm upset at myself cause I was a Mei main for dps, an orissa main for tank, and a mfing brig main for support.. now I'm a reaper main for dps, a jq and ball main for tank, and lifeweaver main for support
