Here's a hint: MCVs (or any other unit, really) from crates are never intentional - just a way for players to have some fun breaking a mission :) The reason why they're never intentional is because mappers can NOT control what unit comes from a specific crate - either a unit is banned from being a CrateGoodie for the entire mission or it is allowed; there is no in-between. And if random crates are spawned, that too can not be controlled: either unit crates are allowed for the entire mission, or they're not. That said, what mappers most certainly can do is place, say, ammo crates, trigger their self-destruct when player is close but still far enough to not get caught in its explosion (or maybe just reduce its damage-radius and effects), and spawn the intended unit in the crates' place. One thing mappers can control is whether or not buildings spawn a money crate, random crate, or no crate when destroyed. 6:48 now that's just nasty. 9:50 that's odd. I didn't know that's even possible...
I played this campaign a long time ago. I didn't get the mcv before going to the small base. And for that it was way much harder for me to defend the stronghold. I think I am going to play this again soon. Nice video as always. ❤❤❤
6:49 Pillbox spawns out of nowhere. Alert Dawn and Alert Sun is notorious for its kaizo level of unfairness (there are no warnings about this trap early in the mission and you won't be able to predict it until you trigger it)
Can't remember, but was it explained about how power-up crates work with Slave Miners when they deploy and undeploy? Like so they lose their upgrades when turning into a building and don't get them back when turning into a vehicle?
Any VehicleType that deploys into an actual BuildingType and back again will lose any crate bonuses - in original game that means MCVs/ConYards and Slave Miners. It doesn't mean Siege Choppers however, because they're regular Deployers - i.e. they don't... "convert" from one TechnoType to another, they're still a VehicleType much like the GI's deploy doesn't change him from being an InfantryType (not that InfantryTypes can deploy into BuildingTypes in the first place, lol!).
mappers can NOT control what unit comes from a specific crate - either a unit is banned from being a CrateGoodie for the entire mission or it is allowed; there is no in-between. Of course, if all units except MCVs are banned you'll only ever get MCVs out of unit-crates. And if random crates are spawned, that too can not be controlled: either unit crates are allowed for the entire mission, or they're not.
So let me get this straight, this mission has you babysitting a Yuri clone(?) who betrayed his prime version by working with the Allies. Umm... Kane' s moment? Is this guy Kane, or Yuri's prime is Kane? Or is the betraying Yuri clone is actually the actor who played Yuri in cut scenes, waking up and finding himself being warped in the game and want to survive it. I am confuse as heck.😅
in my own analyzing, i think you should spread that wtf alien flying thing as much as you could all over in the map after garrisoning all buildings before triggering Yuri's clones to the base, just my thoughts
Anyone having issues with how to play RA2 now it's ea play with gamespeed setting ? Also nice videos....I can't get used to RA2 ...I've been a TS player for 18 years....do you play TS ? I enjoy watching other people play RA2 more than I do by playing it myself...
@@Dustin_Bins what I noticed straight away is how much less health/easier to kill (not sure which not done testing ) building and vehicles are to kill in RA2 which overall makes me feel like ok getting my ass kicked quicker/kicking opponents ass. I also feel as though the graphics are better on TS even though they are based on the same engine the models for the units themselves look cleaner. RA2 is fun though....skirmish sucks ass against computer in TS they kick your ass no matter what difficulty you choose.... I like RA2 SKIRMISH MODE as ai is more engaging..... RA2 has wayyyyy more mods available and custom campaigns which is amazing as TS really only had twisted insurrection.....rise from the ashes....the second tiberium war and dawn of the tiberium age as the custom campaigns only really seem to be available in total conversation mods (all them I just mentioned are amazing bu the way and come with their own standalone launchers check out moddb) My preference is Tiberian sun. And that's all it is.... A preference ....god I miss these isometric CNC games....

For outro you could've make clip of Allied MCV stuck in the upper left corner and lines like: "Hey, we've come to help you! Guys? Anyone?"
I love your yuri's revenge videos , i am happy that there is people syill playing this legendary game ❤

13:30 best troll ever, that flood of flamethrowers XD
So does that mean you'll have to complete this mission again with out the MCV? lol
Hello tg! Thanks for cheering me up with an upload to start my day!
Holy hell! MCV from the start! Lucky bastard! ;D
Can you complate without any Mcv pls?
Like form Soviet mission 5
5:48 Nice presence of mind here.
12:10 Can these planes be controlled (12:31 just Trojan horses)?
13:21 It's Virus time.
53:05 what the hell
fuck, it seems that plane produces inifinite enemy troops...
It's not just a plane, it's a clown plane!
Of course the game starts off with BS... and while you're trying to figure out what's next... suddenly Prism Tanks!

I bet that if you took out the Psychic Beacon in the Allied base it would have given you the Allied base.
no it doesn't
Does this crate always give an MCV? If not then you're not supposed to get it

You couldn`t capture that Psychic Beacon, right?
It's the Alert Sun, not the Re-Engagements
Wonder if there's a way to save allies and use them. And how much of soviets.
It would be nice if you play the mission both ways with and without the MCV it would also be more interesting for comparison.
Maybe next time. These missions consume too much time.
in my own analyzing, i think you should spread that wtf alien flying thing as much as you could all over in the map after garrisoning all buildings before triggering Yuri's clones to the base, just my thoughts
I think you wrote the title by mistake. It's "Alert Sun" not Re-Engagement.
Incredible... ...
i don't understand why you can't just mind control the UFO
Where can you get this game these days??
EA launcher (it was Origin) I don't know other than that
tg, you need to replay the game without MCV from crate
Yea you should
Cuz is unfair for missions
Got ya first!!
Man. isn't that the most interesting campaign
Fever dream take 2!
Eh no blooper? This must be the wrong guy impersonating the og 🤣🤣🤣
Where is the outro 😢
Was in a rush, didn’t have time 😢
I think you messed up title.
Wrong title I assume
nice playing
If only you build prism tanks it will be a breeze
where i can watch the 1st mission?
click on the channel logo and scroll till you find it
@@DarkReaper2597 lol
Bro yuri campaign?
So how much harder is this one compared to the first one lol haha?
Actually I think the first mission was harder than this one lol haha

I don't know why, but I feel TS is the harder of the C n C universe.

i am playing with cheats and still get rekt everytime it piss me off so much but it fun lol
Rename your video Tg because many viewers will confuse, this is alert sun
god this was a long mission ... very hard at start ... timer ... annoying boomer sub cleaning ...
