Bought a1256 in 2015 got it home went to change the air filter it looked like new marked march1978

Is tractor collecting/restoring a big hobby in Australia like it is in the US? Was this tractor built in the USA?

Yes it is! Not as big, but we are a much smaller country.
We got a split of USA and European built tractors. We also built our own under Chamberlain and International brands.
This 1256 was USA built! :)

Congratulations. These are great engines, and they sound amazing under throttle. I am sure you can get the bits you need easy enough!
