Si tenéis una pantalla diferente no os preocupéis, pero a la hora de programar los mandos del volante debéis conectar la pantalla del coche al wifi del móvil para obtener las actualizaciones. Hi, I got visually the same model head unit presented in this video for my 2005 Citroen C4 Coupe, my unit seems newer and has android 10 or an imitation of it. The menus have less options then what you show. The seller hasn't been able to solve this but I have no sound. Canbus kind of works, as in the steering wheel buttons work and travel distance data is being transmitted to the head unit - but still no sound. All cables seem to be connected successfully, I have taken them apart multiple times and tried again. What I find odd is all the citroen Canbus models in the settings have 2008-2015 models, the ad said 2004-2008 - maybe the Canbus is incorrect for my car (I have Raise PSA-RZ-15)? There is also a RCA harness and I tried a 5.1 audio set speaker connected to the output of the RCA audio out, the speaker didn't even have a faint sound coming from it. No app has sound, not radio or Music or UA-cam, nothing. Do you have any suggestions what to try to get any sound? I tried all the Citroen Canbus options in the settings, all of them have the steering wheel buttons work, none have any sound.
Hello. It seems that on your Android unit the problem would be from the sound amplification chip, so a possible physical problem. Talk to the seller and send him a video in which it will be clear that your Android unit has no sound output.
@@AdrianDragan Thank you for the information. I was in contact with the seller, the seller is confident that their device is working fine and tried very little to solve the issue. Eventually the seller stopped responding at all and I ended up getting a 20% refund with no return, because the return shipping cost more than the device price was. So basically I am stuck with this unit to solve it on my own. My mistake was that I did not order from a seller with the most orders, and it seems I have kind of been scammed. You are the first person to actually suggest a hardware fault, everyone else keeps looking at plugs and android updates and settings that do not exist. I am familiar with electronics enough to want to look into repairing/replacing the broken part, so I will then open up the device and see what I find. It seems there is no other option really. Maybe I can bypass the internal amp and just get the sound signal from before the amp and connect that to an external amp.
@@mouradfarhat7676 As far as I know, the Raise PSA-RZ-15 would be compatible with the car's original parking sensors. But you should also ask the seller from whom you bought the unit.

Hello. I haven't tested on MyWay but I think it will work, as far as I know the main connection plug is identical to the one on RD4. if you also have JBL from the factory, it will not be compatible.

So, you don't have to connect the key1 and key 2 cables. Enter the CanBus menu and set up Hiworld / Citroen, try all the car models there, it has to be something that works.

Hi, I did get the newer android 10 version of the radio (MCU is TS10.1.1) for my C4 2006 Sedan model . It has a raise psa rz 15 Canbus module. But after installing the radio the steering wheel buttons and the fuel consumption information work. But the car keeps going in self diagnosis or it reboots the dashboard and resets the 1st trip meter (on small display) . looks like the canbus module is letting the canbus go in error I tried all the Raise model options from the factory menu. nothing seems to work. Should changing the canbus module for a raise psa rz 01 fix the problem ?
Hi. These Android multimedia devices for the Citroen C4 were not designed to work with the original multifunction screen. The manufacturers include the PSA-RZ-15 canbus decoder which does not work with the car screen, but the PSA-RZ-01 decoder works with the screen. Comenzile din volan functioneaza indiferent de ce selectez in factory settings. PSA-RZ-15 este is a n decodor canbus care nu știe sa simuleze acele butoane pentru controlul ecranului original, PSA-RZ-01 știe sa facă acest lucru. Chinezul nu se gândește la păstrarea ecranului și pune canbus-ul nepotrivit. Deci poți cumpăra canbus-ul din link-ul de mai sus.

Hello. Theoretically it can only be used if your original radio is type RD45 because it has built-in bluetooth. Otherwise, if the bluetooth module is separate from the radio, it is harder to find the wires from the microphone.

Hello, great video, i bought one of the radio on your link descriptions, but now I'm having this issue, I'm having battery drain issues since I've installed the radio, even tho I've turned of the hibernation and the radio shuts down every time i turn the car off, still have the battery drain. My car is a C4 Coupe from 2008, not sure if you can help me with this, after a few search on internet today some people says it can be something related to the canbus decoder
I also had the same problems with Canbus Hiworld, I could not access the multifunction screen menu. I changed the Cabus decoder with a Raise one and now everything works fine.

Salutare, Am instalat si eu un sistem similar si din pacate dupa doar o luna de la montaj m-am trezit pur si simplu ca ecranul nu mai functioneaza. Aparatul functioneaza in fundal, iluminarea ecranului functioneaza si ea, dar ecranul ramane negru indiferent ce am incercat. Vreo idee de unde ar putea fi problema, cumva procesorul de imagine sau display-ul ? Multumesc anticipat ptr raspuns.

The android radio came with a Raise psa-rz-15 canbus decoder, which caused problems of bliking with the car screens (only if I maintain the original LDC screen). Following your advice, I replaced it by the model psa-rz-01, but the problem still persists. Do you know if there is some configuration that I must to change? Hello. Try to go in the car settings app. And scroll down to "car model" and select "4008 keep the original small screen" it could be good. Tick the "buzzer" case under "navigation sound" if you don't hear beeps from your rear parking radar.

Hello. For steering wheel controls, check the following: 1. Did you set the Canbus decoder model correctly in Factory Settings? (Raise, Hiworld, XP... depends on which canbus your Android unit came with). 2. Did you connect the white 8-pin plug that has two cables to the 8-pin socket on the back of the Android unit? For changing dim mph to kmph I don't know a solution, maybe it would be better to ask the seller from whom you bought the Android tablet. I think it would help if you also send them a short video in which you prove the problem.

Si tenéis una pantalla diferente no os preocupéis, pero a la hora de programar los mandos del volante debéis conectar la pantalla del coche al wifi del móvil para obtener las actualizaciones. Hi, I got visually the same model head unit presented in this video for my 2005 Citroen C4 Coupe, my unit seems newer and has android 10 or an imitation of it. The menus have less options then what you show. The seller hasn't been able to solve this but I have no sound. Canbus kind of works, as in the steering wheel buttons work and travel distance data is being transmitted to the head unit - but still no sound. All cables seem to be connected successfully, I have taken them apart multiple times and tried again. What I find odd is all the citroen Canbus models in the settings have 2008-2015 models, the ad said 2004-2008 - maybe the Canbus is incorrect for my car (I have Raise PSA-RZ-15)? There is also a RCA harness and I tried a 5.1 audio set speaker connected to the output of the RCA audio out, the speaker didn't even have a faint sound coming from it. No app has sound, not radio or Music or UA-cam, nothing. Do you have any suggestions what to try to get any sound? I tried all the Citroen Canbus options in the settings, all of them have the steering wheel buttons work, none have any sound.
Hello. It seems that on your Android unit the problem would be from the sound amplification chip, so a possible physical problem. Talk to the seller and send him a video in which it will be clear that your Android unit has no sound output.
@@AdrianDragan Thank you for the information. I was in contact with the seller, the seller is confident that their device is working fine and tried very little to solve the issue. Eventually the seller stopped responding at all and I ended up getting a 20% refund with no return, because the return shipping cost more than the device price was. So basically I am stuck with this unit to solve it on my own. My mistake was that I did not order from a seller with the most orders, and it seems I have kind of been scammed. You are the first person to actually suggest a hardware fault, everyone else keeps looking at plugs and android updates and settings that do not exist.
I am familiar with electronics enough to want to look into repairing/replacing the broken part, so I will then open up the device and see what I find. It seems there is no other option really. Maybe I can bypass the internal amp and just get the sound signal from before the amp and connect that to an external amp.

Hello. I haven't tested on MyWay but I think it will work, as far as I know the main connection plug is identical to the one on RD4. if you also have JBL from the factory, it will not be compatible.

@@AdrianDragan hello, not the buttons on the steering wheel don't work for android radio (on original screen, it's work). Today the seller has sent me some images but I only understand the part of the configuration.
Another image indicates that I must have key 1 and key2 cables connected somewhere. And then clone the buttons. I try clone buttons but don't work.
So, you don't have to connect the key1 and key 2 cables. Enter the CanBus menu and set up Hiworld / Citroen, try all the car models there, it has to be something that works.

HI! I would like to install an Android system (S4 or V2 Plus model) on my 2004 C4 VTR coupé and I need to know a couple of things.
1) From what I have read, to maintain the multifunction display I need a Raise PSA-RZ-01 decoder and set the car model as "4008 keep the little screen". It's correct? Could I continue to manage that display via the steering wheel controls?
2) is it possible to continue using the rear speakers with the standard parking sensors?

1. To be able to control the multifunction display you need the PSA-RZ-01 Canbus decoder. I think you will still be able to use the option to adjust the multifunctional screen from the buttons on the steering wheel.
2. As far as I know, the sound of the parking sensors will only be heard from the buzzer integrated in the canbus decoder. I think it might be that yes if you use a Hiworld PSA1.20 or PSA1.21 decoder the sound of the parking sensors could be kept in the original car speakers, this happened to me on an S5 unit with a Hiworld decoder installed on a Peugeot 508.
P.S. Just as a small observation. I say it's worth spending about $30 more on the Android S5 navigation because it has a better CPU, more memory (64 Gb vs 32 Gb) better Audio processor. It's your choice.

I did get the newer android 10 version of the radio (MCU is TS10.1.1) for my C4 2006 Sedan model . It has a raise psa rz 15 Canbus module. But after installing the radio the steering wheel buttons and the fuel consumption information work.
But the car keeps going in self diagnosis or it reboots the dashboard and resets the 1st trip meter (on small display) .
looks like the canbus module is letting the canbus go in error
I tried all the Raise model options from the factory menu. nothing seems to work.
Should changing the canbus module for a raise psa rz 01 fix the problem ?

The manufacturers include the PSA-RZ-15 canbus decoder which does not work with the car screen, but the PSA-RZ-01 decoder works with the screen. PSA-RZ-15 este is a n decodor canbus care nu știe sa simuleze acele butoane pentru controlul ecranului original, PSA-RZ-01 știe sa facă acest lucru. Chinezul nu se gândește la păstrarea ecranului și pune canbus-ul nepotrivit. Deci poți cumpăra canbus-ul din link-ul de mai sus.

Hello. Theoretically it can only be used if your original radio is type RD45 because it has built-in bluetooth. Otherwise, if the bluetooth module is separate from the radio, it is harder to find the wires from the microphone.

Hello, great video, i bought one of the radio on your link descriptions, but now I'm having this issue, I'm having battery drain issues since I've installed the radio, even tho I've turned of the hibernation and the radio shuts down every time i turn the car off, still have the battery drain.

Am instalat si eu un sistem similar si din pacate dupa doar o luna de la montaj m-am trezit pur si simplu ca ecranul nu mai functioneaza. Aparatul functioneaza in fundal, iluminarea ecranului functioneaza si ea, dar ecranul ramane negru indiferent ce am incercat. Vreo idee de unde ar putea fi problema, cumva procesorul de imagine sau display-ul ? Multumesc anticipat ptr raspuns.

Hi there, I have almost the exact android unit with the Raise Canbus decoder. My car is C4 Coupé 2008, all the steering wheels buttons works well except the Mute button, it’s cycling through all the apps that I have opened instead of muting the sound, do you know how can I fix it?

I'm having a problem with the canbus decoder. The android radio came with a Raise psa-rz-15 canbus decoder, which caused problems of bliking with the car screens (only if I maintain the original LDC screen). Following your advice, I replaced it by the model psa-rz-01, but the problem still persists. Do you know if there is some configuration that I must to change? The options that I have in my radio canbus settings are a little diferent. I've tried to configure it as a peugeot 3008 (maintaining the small screen) and as a peugeot 307 (04-09) without success. I forgot to say that my original screen is different of yours. It provides information about consumption, car state, etc... Maybe I should replace it?

Hello. You don't have to replace the original screen. Probably the settings for canbus are not suitable, try again with Peugeot 308.
Hello. Try to go in the car settings app. And scroll down to "car model" and select "4008 keep the original small screen" it could be good. Tick the "buzzer" case under "navigation sound" if you don't hear beeps from your rear parking radar.

Salut. Din Germania sau din orice alta tara UE comenzile de pe Aliexpress se livreaza prin curier rapid direct la usa fara a mai plati niciun comision sau taxa vamala. De obicei livreaza cei de la Cargus.

Asa la 20-30 euro nu prea te temi, dar cand e cateva sute de euro, te indoaie cu taxe suplimentare.
Dar daca la tine a fost ok de la vanzatorul arespectiv, macar stiu ca pot sa comand tot de la el, cand are disponibil din germania, ca momentan nu este.

For steering wheel controls, check the following:
1. Did you set the Canbus decoder model correctly in Factory Settings? (Raise, Hiworld, XP... depends on which canbus your Android unit came with).
2. Did you connect the white 8-pin plug that has two cables to the 8-pin socket on the back of the Android unit?
For changing dim mph to kmph I don't know a solution, maybe it would be better to ask the seller from whom you bought the Android tablet. I think it would help if you also send them a short video in which you prove the problem.
