Will if teamswap makes since because it's normally episode 6 something happens like season 2 it was merge and season 1 Ellie and grett swapped teams so I think also will be a team swap

If I have to make a guess right now, I will say the next episode is non/elimination-ish. By -ish, no campers are elimination. Instead, this is a team absorption challenge where the losing team has its member split and sent to other two teams where the winning team gets first pick. If this right, Magenta loses again with Yellow winning to pick Ashley and Fiore while Ally and Jake go to cyan.
Longer version:
This trailer seems to be all over the place in a good way. TBH, I’m pretty stumped on who could get ousted this episode, if someone leaves. Someone pointed out how episode 6 in both remake and S2 were both non eliminations. That said, this could result in the losing team getting absorbed into the other two teams with the challenge winner getting first pick. Thus, Tom’s confessional in the trailer may indicate that Jake and him are on the same team now. (Otherwise, that confessional is him admitting that he isn’t a good singer or more in a bad position that he first realized.) If there is a team absorption, I feel like Magenta may lose again due to having both even numbers and there may not be anyone on that team who can sing. (While only yellow competes, Aiden’s VA supposedly is a good singer.) In turn, yellow likely wins again the next challenge of this happens and forces Jake to join Ally on cyan.
Outside of interactions on Magenta, the other, presumably non challenge, interactions on the other two team seem pretty scattered, especially on Cyan. With yellow, Yul may be getting annoyed at Emily about his manager’s warning. Thus, he could be disingenuously apologizing to Grett. She doesn’t pickup on it and we may some lore on her weight loss story this next episode. Outside of Riya annoying Alec by over enjoying her shower, she may have figured out that Connor sent those letters that exposed the villains’ alliance.
On Cyan, Ellie smugness in that confessional draws interest and concern. While people are comparing her to Riya, Ellie seemed very cocky. In the remake, Ellie getting cocky or got even a little comfortable did lead her get blindsided and even humiliated time and time again. So, this could be pride before the fall, regardless if she going this upcoming episode or not . However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tess ends up going either.
Gabby is a bit of anomaly for me. Her noted trailer appearance is Tom looking concerned with Gabby being back to her crazy self. If this is challenge related, it may backfire but in way to where cyan is so bad, by Gabby’s antics, that they are good enough to get 2nd place. Otherwise, whatever Gabby pulls in the challenge causes the team loss to contrast clutching the prior challenge.
If the teams stay in tact and elimination does happen, I get the impression that Magenta, despite the challenge being nonphysical for a change, may get sent back into elimination, unless the audio trailer portion reveals that yellow has the weakest performance. (This was also with the audio trailer portion E7 of remake)
Beyond the campers, this trailer is noting that production, both with Fiore and Yul, and with each other, is getting more involved, which a nice aspect to look forward to. With Yul and Emily, I think Emily’s text could be regarding Yul’s manager or, if she is Yul’s manager, gets on Yul for his antics (notably with that cute comment about Grett last episode), like he lost an endorsement. On Fiore with Marcus and Nina, I’m not sure where that could go. It could go mostly nowhere (like what happened in episode 3) or lead to something questionable. Hopefully, they aren’t doing some illegal alliance things with either Yul or Fiore. I hated when TD did that in both Action with DJ and WT with Blainely.
Projected challenge outcome
1st: Cyan if there is an elimination and teams stay intact or yellow if this is no elimination but a team absorption happen to the losing team to assure Jake (without Ashely, Tom and Aiden are all on the same team.
2nd: the inverse of 1st
3rd: Magenta (Also, Magenta is a shade of purple. Thus, Magenta could be the new purple until merge or a team shake, which could be as early as next episode)
Elimination:
No elimination/team absorption: Magenta. Ally and Jake go to cyan while Ashley and Fiore go to yellow.
Magenta: Fiore
(With Jake smirking alongside Fiore, it may seem that Jake and Ashley are commiting to align with Fiore with Fiore telling Jake about the deal Alec and Miriam made during the diving challenge. (If so, I wish there was a post elimination confessional last episode from either Jake or Ashely explaining they wanted to show Fiore of them prioritizing Fiore, and getting ousting Hunter was their way of doing so. That said, Ashley may not cut Ally just yet. Thus, Jake and Ashley vote differently to send Fiore and Ally into tiebreaker, which Ally blindsides her team by outsmarting Fiore.)
Cyan: Tess or possibly Gabby, depending on how crazy Gabby gets this next episode.
Yellow: Grett, since I’m leaning towards Alec and Riya keeping Connor and Yul (who may still be targeting Connor) around longer.
Other possibilities:
Magenta:
2. Ally (loses tiebreaker to Fiore)
3. Ashley (if Fiore is somehow able to convince Jake to turn on Ashely)
Cyan:
3. Tom (depending on whatever happens on the production end. Even if Tom survives this, this may not be a good episode for him game wise. That said, I don’t see Tom, even if he gets sent to subplot again, to leaves earlier than Aiden)
4. Ellie
Yellow
2. Yul (despite whatever help he gets from Emily
3. Riya (courtesy of whatever Emily told Yul, but if Riya goes out this way, she has a high chance of re-entry, both legitimately or heavy bs plot armor)

I have a feeling Alec may find out about Riya refusing to cooperate with Fiore and Ellie as well as her casting a vote against fellow alliance member Yul. I think Alec may call her out on her disloyalty to the alliance.

I could definitely see this being a non-elimination if it goes the elimination route, I feel like Grett will be eliminated. I don't feel like they would eliminate another contestant from season 2 as so far 3 season 2 contestants have been eliminated and only 1 contestant from season 1 has. Out of the season 1 cast the only contestants I can see going are Gabby, Ellie, and Grett as everyone else is a prominent villain or needs development.
I don't see Gabby going as Ellie is on her team and much more disliked, so it doesn't really make sense to vote Gabby. As for Ellie she was shown looking for the idol and I think out of everyone she's the most likely to find it. I could see a scenario where Ellie finds the idol but someone like Tom notices it, so they all vote Gabby to avoid the idol, but I think it's more likely Ellie uses the idol successfully on herself and eliminates Aiden.
As for why I think Grett leaves it has to do with the people on the yellow team and how they vote. I believe in this episode or if this one is a non-elimination the next Yul and Grett will have a big fight where they break up on bad terms and vote for each other. Connor also votes for Yul since Yul will likely be in the wrong and Connor doesn't like him anyways. As for Riya and Alec I doubt either will vote for Connor despite him not being in the alliance as both have a good relationship with him and would like to keep him in the game. I do think Riya and Alec work together on this vote and from a logical perspective I think it's better for them to vote Yul and that's what they will go with since they are logical players.
The reason I believe that Yul is a better keep for Riya and Alec is purely because of how unlikable he is. Grett has redeemed herself from season 1 and it is very possible that she could work with other people outside the villain's alliance especially season 2 contestants and characters like Ashley who didn't interact with Grett much. Grett's redemption arc may make her less loyal to the villain's alliance as well since she might disagree with some of the tactics, they use to vote people off. In comparison Yul is a better ally as he is so unlikable it is almost impossible that anyone outside the alliance would work with him, and he definitely has no problems using underhanded tactics to win. Furthermore, Yul is a great shield since if the villain's alliance is targeted Yul is so unlikable that the others could easily agree to vote him kind of similar to how Grett was used in season 1.

I’m surprised you hated it. After re-listening, Yul is trying but doesn’t mesh that well with. That said, I thought Riya and Grett did decent enough. A this just a singing challenge or the musical episode. Either way, I wished an upcoming musical episode wasn’t spoiled ahead of time by Jared. Overall, people are intrigued by the episode. Had a musical episode not being disclosed ahead of time, it would be a bigger surprise and treat to find out that this episode would potentially be “a battle of the bands”. Thus, the hype of this episode could have been bigger.
I think it's the loudness of the music and the obvious autotune that turns me off it haha - maybe my mind will be changed in the actual episode and it'll be good!

the mixing on the song aint good and they iobviously have different mics, it needs better blending and Riya's voice can't be that hard and also its hard for some of them to sing and still remain as the character tbf but w all this why did they still decide to do a singing challenge
