I have a 2002 ford excursion I have 33x12.50x20 on now but I have some 37x13.50x26 inch mud tire on the Dub Big Homie rims what do I need to do for that rim and tire to fit.
Shawn can you do an ish I never knew about weight? how does this setup compare to say an 18 or 20 with a taller sidewall? and the wheel materials how does all that affect rolling resistance and braking? and then last but not least mpg...I mean if you have to ask about mpg you probably shouldn't own a truck or mess with the wheels but still I think it'd make a good ish I never knew .thanks
sure... a couple "for instances"... some people race their trucks and are concerned about weight and height of tire (I realize height is more of a gearing thing, but in the setup you profiled, a lot of street only trucks would be interested in the lower profiles). Another reason, a lot of folks tow and need to carefully consider gvwr. Several hundred pounds either direction could make a difference when fully loaded, and then the braking considerations on top of that. I know a lot of half tons that do a lot of hand wringing about tow capacity. Any rate, just looking out... i think you could appeal to a lot of street-only truck owners that do a lot of towing and are on the fence about wheels and tires. I enjoy the vids and knowledge. keep up the vids, and make sure to tell your vid producer thanks once in a while... he or she does good work. thanks
Im in Indiana and i went 33x12.5x22 on my obs and never had a problem with potholes because those amp mt are pretty tough but i have hit sidewalks especially trying to go through drive thrus smh....
Trucklife864- How is the noise compared to the Nitto Mud Grapplers? I bought these same AMP and never owned truck/mud tires and just concerned of tooo much noise :) I can deal with a little but not like the Nittos.
MrPowderEater just like you said, they look good on a mall crawler, so if you want to take them offroad dont even bother on buying them I spend a lot of money on my truck to get the look I wanted and definitely I would not take it offroading, it hauls my camper with no problem, it goes pretty well ok the trails with those tires But she is too nice to take it hardcore mudding or rock crawling
man, I personally don't care for big rims and little tires like this. I'd rather have a 15-17x10 inch rim with a 33 or 35x12.50, but then again most people round here drive 1980-2005 vehicles 😂
too bad it's another rim with too much black. I'd like to see some silver, brushed, titanium, gray anything really other than rims that are largely black. Everyone and their grandma has black rims on a lifted truck.

When will you guys carry dually wheels or super singles that work in the filters on the website want to either get dually wheels or convert to srw with a super single for the rears and matching regular dually wheels up front. Nothin huge up front like I'd want 20" wheels but something like a 20/7.5 up front for the dually wheel and run the stock dually hub and have minimal clearance problems and then run like a 20/14 in the rear or possible even wider cause I have 16/6 with duallys so it's really like 16/14 already
